Dear Titch, Frankly, there are no `cures' available other than either to physically remove the mirror or the only other option you may want to consider is purchasing an `opaque film' to paste on to the mirror. Cecil -----Original Message-----

Dear Mohana, Mohana Bommena wrote: What do you/anyone suggest for a couple who have a direction that is Good for the husband but is BAD for the Wife and Vice versa. This has been answered many times if you had just searched the forum. The forum contain severalthousands offrequently asked topics. So most questions people asked are often answered. This is a very common and quite easy to solve by applying the give and take approach. 1) The house should most importantly be suitable to the breadwinner of the family since he/she earn most to support the family. So the breadwinner must get the best facing so as to get the most luck. 2) Since the breadwinner has luck for the…

Hi Anon, Unfortunately, not all problems or leaks will have a solution, in this case you will not be able to change the location of the toilet or main door entrance. So only thing you can to is to attempt to improve all other areas so as to offset this issue. Remember that Feng Shui is like taking an exam. Failing one question out of 20 will not mean that you will fail badly. Just like Feng Shui one leak will not mean it is a bad house. So in such cases where there is a leak that cannot be fixed, you should then attempt to correct other leaks so as to offset it. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee

1. Frankly, the three-legged toad is considered like any other decorative figurine (full stop) 2. In symbolism, it is always good that figurines kept in a home, especially those that have an opened mouth, should have something in it's mouth. 3. The best thing you can do is to use any ordinary coin and stick it or (use blue tag or double sticking table). 4. Usually if it is a dragon figurine, a "fake" pearl in it's mouth would be an excellent choice. For this three-legged toad mouth, go for Para 3. Para 4, as a last resort.

1. Reference article on the dangers of underground water:- http://forum.geomancy.net/resources/art/art-under.php 2. So long as your toilet bowl and it's sewerage piping is on another wall; placing your bed-head towards the toilet wall is acceptable or fine (OK). Anonymous wrote: If we move the bed(facing south), it will be on the same side of the bedroom door(facing east) but our legs will not be pointing at the door. (legs will point towards the toilet wall but not directly at the toilet door) 3. Bed-head placement or placement of the bed, usually should be based on the Shapes and Forms Feng Shui as often, there are limitations such as the bedroom door, toilet door, b…

Dear Michele, 1. In general, water is not favorable at the back of the house. However, this is not always true! 2. In fact, what is more important is `Qi' or qi flow in the surrounding and around the home. Here, pools of water even if they are quite a distance away, often at the `back' can be considered favourable. 3. Depending on the layout of the house, sometimes the possibility could be that: 3.1 To take advantage of (if the creek view) is better, the `facing' or frontage of the house can be oriented to face it. 3.2 Or simply creating a patio or garden facing the creek is another consideration. It would be better if you can attach a simple sketch of your house vs the …

I'm sorry, but I do not understand your answer and how it relates to my situation. Please allow me to explain my question further....perhaps my original question was misunderstood. I have an entrance at my kitchen/dining room. This is not the main/facing entrance (Main/facing entrance is in the west). This is in a single family house, not an apartment nor is it in a building with other residences. The side of the house where this door is located is the South side of the house, but because of the particular layout of the grid of this house, where that door lands on the grid is in the SW sector. So I was wondering if the entrance is considered to be a SW or South entrance.…

1. In general, your job function I assume would remain the same "Finance". 2. When we consider the industry; car retail is considered as belonging to the Metal industry. While Vessels transporting gas in general are also metal & water (where metal = vessels which needs to travel on water). 3. Frankly, under the Five elements concept, both are equally acceptable. As you are strong earth element person: metal helps to exhaust a strong earth person. 4. Under the "destructive" cycle, earth helps to "exhaust" water. This is where water is said to be your "wealth" element. Reference: http://www.geomancy.net/talknotes/talknotes.htm 5. Thus on "paper" and following str…

Dear Anon, Here symbolism is important in Feng Shui. 1. You need to look at each animal and determine their `looks'. Animals that are on the `prowl' or waiting to snare a victim is considered not auspicious. 2. Animals that looks hungry and " wants " to devour another etc... are best avoided. 3. Any unknown shape e.g. in the shape of a monster etc... are inauspicious. 4. Usually, toys such as teddy bear, goats are acceptable. It is always not adviseable to place animals as described under Para 1 to 3 facing a main entrance or any bedroom doors. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Yoke Yeen, 1. Frankly, from a micro perspective of a condo (the site itself) there are always good units that have excellent / good or favourable qi. But other units may have less or unfavourable qi. This is often applicable to all developments - large or small. 2. From the fact that you have brought up the prison, plus many others have brought up this "issue", would suggest that there are more people who may just don't like the idea of living close to or facing or looking at the prision (since some units have such a view). 3. Under Para 2, these are not directly Feng Shui related, but rather affect our human component ie. our "feel good or feel bad factor". If ou…

Dear Jasper, For a start, you can actually generate your personal Eight House Chart if you have not done so already. A detailed step-by-step guide is at url: http://www.geomancy.net/fs/house1.htm additional explantion is available =at http://www.geomancy.net/fs/house2.htm You can also immediately generate a free Eight House Chart at www.geomancy-online.com In a cold country it is acceptable to have an apartment at the basement. However, ideally, one side of the the toilet wall should be along the external wall. Another point is that you should find out how the sewerage pipes run. Preferably, it should `connect' to the toilet and where possible, not go under your basement …

Never buy a house with a toilet located at the center influence of the home. The center of the house is where all the flux of energy comes together. And if the toilet is located at the center of the home. Your wealth will leak out of the home. This will result in the family facing financial difficulties.

Edited by Robert: Please be advised that I have just revised the yearly forecast to implement some of the newly ideas to make the forecast report clearer. You should be able to generate a new updated report that should clear the doubts you have. Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: Thus, I should ignore the pair of chinese characters on the left of the calendar in your sample link as it says that Jan 2005 is a 'tiger' month. Pls. correct me as I was told that the lunar (chinese) calendar first month is 'tiger' month. So, if the calendar is referring toWestern Calendar, why is the Jan 2005 also a 'tiger' month? Unless, in 2005, the lunar January month is the same as the western j…

1. As mentioned, previously there are TWO differing views:- 1.1. One view is that ONLY when EXISTING foundation is demolished and a new foundation come up can the site (building change qi). 1.2 The other view point is based on symbolism. And there are many different view-points as to what may constitute a change. Thus I am only stating or collating the various view points:- The views range from:- 1.2.1 Entire building refreshed with coat of paint (and refurbishment)and the whole house gets refreshed with a coat of paint. 1.2.2 For an apartment, one view point is that since the roof cannot be removed, the ceiling of the home could be given a coat of paint - and this s…

These are some of the considerations:- 1. If you are looking at a home / stack / apartment from a Feng Shui point of view:- 1.1. Feng Shui is based on two major schools:- 1.1.1 The Shapes and Forms : The landscape, the site, the building or block, the stack 1.1.2 Compass School: Flying Star and Eight House 2. The familar lingo: "LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION". 2.1 Not only half the battle is won, but rather the FULL battle is won, when a property has good: Location, location and location. 2.2 And this L, L, L falls under? The Shapes and Forms Feng Shui (full-stop). 3. Thus, if one has excellent L, L, L no need to even consider the other Compass School Feng Shui to squeeze …

Dear Anon, Where possible, try to allow Qi to meander. It is better to `avoid' multiple "layers" of open areas (if you can). Since you are more familar with your home, can you feel a rush of air when standing at your door i.e. at certain times? If you have windows on the other walls of the room, this would lessen the effect. For example if you have windows only at the North and South of the house, wind depending on the time of day will blow from e.g. high pressure zone to low pressure zone and vice versa. And if you only have windows at North or South or ( East and West ), then you may feel the gush of air pressure flowing directly from North to South or vice versa. I h…
