Dear Jody, The first thing you need to determine is which intangible force your main entrance door is at. You mentioned that it is spook/disaster. However, you need to further determine whether it is closer to spook or disaster from the mid-point of the main door. If it is the spook intangible force, you do not need to do anything other than keep the location bright e.g. neutral colour white will do. However if the disaster line flows through the main door, you may like to take up any of the following suggestions:- Currently there are five methods of dealing with this (not in any order of importance):- 1. Change the angle of the door to face one of your best directions i.…

1. Bigger picture where qi is suppose to come-into the home: Then under Flyng Star Feng Shui, one should determine where is the most "yang" qi that enters into the home. 1.1 Here, it may either be the main door i.e. standing inside the main door taking a reading out or usually it is the row of windows often with the most rooms where often again, the living room windows are. 2. For the interior layout plan, one should if possible look at some of these considerations: 2.1. Try to avoid kitchen especially the stove at North-West compass direction. Here, it is the centrepoint of the home, taking a reading towards NW direction. 2.2. Eight Mansions / Eight House to find hom…

Dear Users, Please note that:- Is currently based on my observations and could be a coincidence but have always kept an open mind and Keep-in-view of further occurences of the above i.e. I do see more of such `coincidences', or if you know such cases, please feedback to this forum on this. As for now, do take it as just my personal opinion (not to be taken too seriously). Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Yang Ming, I like to add that, in my opinion, I am very confident that the "Black Hat" model is not viable in the Far East especially Singapore, Malaysia and Hong Kong and Taiwan. This is because, the "Black Hat" is based on a `marketing ploy'. I feel Black Hat is not viable for the following reasons:- 1. Locally in Singapore, the traditional Feng Shui practitioner does not mix products with their consultation. 2. Since products are readily available in a wide area in Singapore, there is NO REASON for a Feng Shui practitioner to tout such goods. 3. Unlike in the West, where perhaps, some of the products are rarer to find. And usually, some FS practitioners (authenti…

Dear Simon, Please read below:- -----Original Message----- From: Listmanager To: Recipients of 'free-advice' suppressed suppressed> Date: Monday, May 31, 1999 7:35 PM Subject: Two Homes !! The house which you are staying will have Feng Shui influence over you. The house which is rented will give the tenants the Feng Shui influence. You can only activate or bring the influence to you if you are staying in the house. Feng Shui is not by remote control, where you can enjoy feng shui from somewhere else. Warmest Regards Robert Lee

1. In my opinion, there are no known scientific concerns posed by say strong magnetic influence such as those emiited by powerlines. > 2. MRI's used in hospitals have eeven more powerfull magnets. 3. However, it may be different issue if the tower supporting the poweline slices thru like a butter knife thru an opening of a home such as when standing at thhe balcony, it slices thru it sort of thing. 4. Or tthe tower or pole, can be any other pole closeby that might collapse against part of the home. 5. Otherwise, chances of such occurences is far less unlikely that a vehhicle accident, and also so much less than a plane falling out of the sky.

Dear Michelle, Thank you for your kind words on the forum. Nowadays, this forum has grown quite large and there are many who have joined the forum from day one and there are also new users. Therefore, the best approach is to try to have a " balance " in the information provided. For those of you who have been with the forum for quite a while, if you have constructive advice, feel free to share it with all of us. Learning is two way and it is nice to hear from everyone. Back to your question. There are a few practioners who have the view point that:- 1. One should sleep on a raised bed. This is to allow Qi to pass thru under the bed. 2. Others feel that the above argument …

Dear Diane, 1. Black colour represents the water element. 2. It is acceptable for a weak water person to be assocated with Black (or blue or grey) the colours identified with Water element. 3. Usually wrought iron beds the exposed area (in my opinion) does not have that much of an impact on the environment of the room as most parts of it is not seen. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Appended by Cecil: Thank you. I have observed that. It appears that the site plan is oriented at a slightly different angle compared to the "amenities" page. I am concerned that, despite the use of a good protractor, it may not be precise. Therefore, it is not satisfactory. --- I apologize, but I do not possess the project brochure. However, I was able to locate the North compass marking on the location map beneath Amenities. I hope this information is helpful. Best regards,

These are some considerations:- 1. You can generate the Eight House report to check on How suitable this house is to usually the male breadwinner under this Free link:- http://www.geomancy.net/reports/reports-list/perlist-suitablehouse.htm 2. For DIY, frankly, you have to do more reading and if possible apply both the Shapes and Forms Feng Shui as well as the Flying Star Feng Shui.

Dear Anon, 1. `sum of ten', double 7 and double 8 are strictly based on Xuan Kong or Flying Star Feng Shui. 2. `Sum of Ten' For example, if the #numbers add up to 10; then this is considered as an auspicious number. Often, this is factored into under the Eight-One combination where the 9 by 9 luo shu grid when ( times ) X together i.e. 9 x 9 = 81 combinations. Here, for example, a Flying star numerology of #2 combined with #8 which when added equals sum #10. This is considered an auspicious number (interpretation). 3. Double 7's and Double 8's This is the most popular concept. Where for example since we are now under Period 7; if the main entrance or door has double 7's e…

Dear Anon, Ideally, it is best to look at the layout chart i.e. if the outside wall is parallel to the inside wall and on the same `line' or sector, it is better to place it at the outside wall. But if the outside wall comes close to other sectors, then it is best to place it inside the toilet. If it is placed in the toilet, check the condition of the coins regularly. Or alternatively, `seal' it in a water proof plastic. Warmest Regards, Cecil

I will only clarify a few points. As this is not what the purpose of the forum is about. 1. For a Strong wood person, the existing green logo on it's own is considered not suitable for a Strong Wood person. 2. However, a squarish logo represents Earth element. And under the Productive Cycle of the Five Elements concept: Earth supports or help Metal (in particular weak metal grow) 3. In addition, for a Strong Wood person, I don't see what's wrong with using a squarish logo. As Square logo represents Earth. And imagine a strong tree with strong roots; which digs into the earth to get nurishment. 4. Orange under Chinese culture belongs to the metal element. As the phonet…

Dear Rev. Michael, 1. Based on my personal experience, it is best to firstly, follow the Shapes and Form School of Feng Shui in determining the best direction for a bed. Here, where possible when one opens the bedroom door, it should not directly face the bed (e.g. the leg portion). Most bedrooms now have an attached bathroom and it is considered not auspicious to place the bed on the same wall as the toilet wall especially on the opposite wall as the toilet bowl. 2. As mentioned above, conditions for `Shapes and Form' Feng Shui has first to be met before using other Feng Shui theories. 3. Next, we can use the Eight House Theory. Here, take it as a bonus if the bed can be…

From a Feng Shui point of view: Eight Aspirations is static. And in the past, and even under the Lin Yun era of Black Hat (Tantric) sect; was very popular. Where you had mentioned North = Water etc... But the Eight Aspirations is a "fixed" model and does not consider TIME DIMENSION as compared to the timely stars of the Flying Star Feng Shui. In the 1970'sespecially1980's: a hiredgeomancer who proclaims that one needs a water position at North would not be questioned. But today, a client who is reasonably versed in basic Feng Shui would seriously question such a judgement or rather no brainer geomancer!
