Dear Maria, Please see below:- In this sector, there is star 2 and 5 making it extremely strong Earthly influence. Therefore, you can use both the Metal and Wood cure at teh same time to create more balance and reduce the earthly influence. Generally, Wood destroys Earth and Metal exhaust Earth, so either way both are cures that can be used. You can choose to use Metal only or Wood only or even both. But in your case, this has 2 & 5 so it would be better if you can use both for this year. In 2002, you need to review to see if what stars comes in to further fine tune it for next year. Generally, you need to first focus on the 20-year (particularly Water an…

Dear Weimin, Weimin Tu wrote: hi there =) im 17 this year and i have 2 small fish tanks in my room by the window. Well, i heard from people that having a fish tank in the room is not good for feng shui. are they right? because i like my fishes and i don't know where elseto place them. Not advisable. As in the previous post, the bedroom is should be quiet. The more scientific reason would be the water in the fish tank tends to have a certain type of fishy smell, plus depending on the fish some fish may make noise so that is becomes noisy. These two will not be good for a good nice rest. As such, fish tank is best place in non-bedroom (it study room ok but not bedroom fo…

Since it is often not possible to change the location of a toilet (if any), then you have to maximize luck from elsewhere. Anonymous wrote: Is it consider bad feng shui if the toilet is located in the North-West direction? If yes, what can be done to improve the feng shui? Thank you very much for your attention.

Dear Mercury, Thanks for sharing with us the picture of the sticker. In this part of the world i.e. Far East e.g. Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and Phillipines, it is quite common to find people of religious faith `combine' their religion with Feng Shui. Although Feng Shui is a non-religion. Here in this forum, we do not mix religion with Feng Shui. I have seen or studied quite alot of Chinese drawings(symbols) and emblems. Currently, the most popular drawings (symbols) are of 1. The Yin and Yang (circular symbol) 2. The First Heaven Sequence symbol. Even Geomancy.net uses both in its logo. Another variant is the I-Ching format or Tai symbol used by Geomancy-U.com and …

Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: According to the Bagua the wealth area of my house happens to be in my laundry room downstairs and in a bathroom in the upstairs of my house. Is this considered a leak? If so is there a cure I can use to put in both of the rooms. Firstly, I just need confirm, when you say the bagua wealth area you are referring to the flying star concept read from the bagua, right? Not the eight aspiration (static bagua) as in this link:- URL: http://www.geomancy.net/reports/reports-list/perlist-eight-aspiration.htm The reason I want to clarify is that there is a difference. Thank you for your encouragement. This forumis indeed my passion = LOVE 1. This is a useful link tothe understanding ofEight House (4 Good/Bad directions) or Eight Mansions:- http://wiki.geomancy.net/wiki/The_Three-Step-Approach 2. As you have correctly suspected! This theory has it's limitations. And it is not about activating any item nor/or object(s). 3. What this theory simply implies is: either about (NICE-TO have and not a MUST-HAVE) "facing a good direction" and/or "spending time at a good sector. 4. Today, it is a popular tool to roughly understand what "facing" direction one may consider as a suitable or not as suitable home or apartment. 5. If you do more resear…

Dear Wasis, What I meant is that often, at the frontage of the house, has many openings. For example, at the frontage; there is a main door e.g. 2 wood doors plus a full set of sliding glass doors for the living room. In such a situation, the mouth of the house is too big. (In proportion to the frontage of the house). It is similar to the layout mentioned in this message. Where, there is a main door and immediately next to it is a balcony. This two are taken to mean a large `mouth'. Where the house is not proportionate i.e. too many openings in relation to the `frontage'. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Simon, Don't worry about it. I understand that you are very young and not the bread winner (not yet I guess). For you, empasis should be placed in your bedroom. One important consideration under Feng Shui is that your Ba Zhi (Eight Characters), for example, the colours of the room should not `clash' with your personal element. You can also take advantage of the Eight House Theory i.e. sleep and study facing one of your good directions. Wishing you continued success in your studies! 1. In my opinion, your home has only a "slight" protrusion. Nothing to worry too much about. 2. Based on your built up area; the missing corner is not an issue either as it is a solid area encompassing the garage. 3. Therefore, you should not be overly concerned with this thing called : protrusions or missing areas. But, more important seek to find out leaks and if possible enhancements = Elsewhere. 4. Please see attachment.

Thanks for the prompt answer Master Lee. As you'e said, NE facing isn't really that bad. The overall structure is best though, except for where it faces, also, I failed to mention, upon opening the main door from inside, you can see a water tower in a distance, most likely in the east but is a bit far and cannot cast a shadow. Are there any effect on us?

1. Like all investigative sciences; in order for you to make any enhancement(s) and/or reduce any negative qi: Feng Shui Triage. Tell us: how to remedy ifno investigations are done: TRIAGE 2. The Eight House / Eight Mansions (4 Good/Bad directions) concept can be used to futher look at the best bed-head direction. 3. Shapes and Forms of the bedroom: often this is limited by the bedroom door, windows and other fixtures in a bedroom e.g. entrance to the attached bedroom. 4. Alternatively; if the above are not applied; then it is as good as doing Trial and Error Feng Shui. Logically, it is either going thru Para 1 to 3 or "free for all".

1. Under symbolism, in Feng Shui, some geomancers felt that placing "living" things in the bedroom is not a good idea. 2. To them, "living things" including plants and flowers are considered yang. 3. And a bedroom is for rest = more yin condition. 4. Thus some geomancers are not in favour of having even a bouquet of flowers in the bedroom. 5. The above is based strictly on the idea of symbolism. 6. As there are three kinds of luck:- 6.1 Heaven luck (born with - Ba Zi) 6.2 Earth Luck (Feng Shui) 6.3 Human or man luck factors (own feelings) 6.4 all three equally divided gives 33.3 percent each of luck. 7. Some of us, perhaps, yourself feel very good about having such a bri…

Dear anon, Usually, it would be good for an employer to install low height partitions at your workspace (if possible). You have not mentioned whether your work space is an open desk or already have a low height partition. If you already have low height partition, this is fairly acceptable in an office environment where one's desk is directly facing the office door. And no further needed. It is good also that your table is possible, moved slightly instead of direclty facing the office door. In an office environment, we have to understand that often staff cannot control the situation. For info, only: see attachment. Some companies use this type of workstations x 4 o…

These are some considerations: 1. Whatlike the "mosque like" building is in my opinion not a sha qi or poison arrow fromWHERE you had taken the photo. 2. Usually, when standing at where you took the photo; it should be directly facing the location. Here; it seems more like to the left side ofthe"location". Thus, definitely not a threat. 3. From a broader perspective; some may consider a "threat" as what I had mentioned under Para 2: where it is directly facing the "location". 4. Frankly, there are other considerations like the distance. Thus; the distance of thebuilding is consideredquite a distance away. 5.For example; thePetronas Twin-Tower. This building is so tall and"…

Dear Christina As mentioned in the earlier e-mail; sometimes we may need to move out especially if the house is not as suitable to the breadwinners. However, we try not to comment further. A competent FS practitioner can usually help to identify the situation. If it is due to some things that can be corrected, then, it may help. As no two situations are alike; it is hard for me to mentioned it. I can recall, situations where; if it is really due to the location and `normal' FS is unable to "cure or correct this "; especially in situations where people face real situations of financial problems. In this situation, they are prepared to `swallow' the bitter pill such as sel…

1. Please note that the term you used should not be "FAKE" or "genuine." Instead, all Feng Shui products should be described as "MODERN Commercial Products." 2. Most Feng Shui products are modern creations and are not fakes. Only antiques can be classified as genuine or fake. 3. Many Feng Shui products have symbolic meanings. For example, both ancient and replica I-Ching coins—those round coins with square holes—can be used in Feng Shui. You should not call these coins fake unless someone sells you one and you later discover it is not what was promised. 4. Some traditional symbolic items often used by Feng Shui practitioners include: 4.1 Hulu or bottle…

These are some considerations: 1. Symbolism. 1.1. The rationale why LAUGHING buddhas are very popular is the "SMILE" on it's face. 1.2. The idea here is that when we see "someone smiling" it is suppose to makeus feel"happy". 1.3. Thus, it also indirectly may affect someone's psychology in some way: This is why many Chinese place the laughing buddha looking towards the entrance of the home. 2. Even for many Chinese, the laughing buddha should not be taken seriously. Therefore, it does not have any association with religion nor considered a religious artifact. 2.1. Therefore, even for many Chinese; they consider it close to a "decorative" item. 3. After understanding the ab…

These are some considerations:- 1. If your approach is thru the Compass School of Feng Shui; then it is best to draw up a 20 Year Flying Star Chart and find out exactly what are the Flying Star numbers at the northwest area (sector):- 1.1. If that sector has the Water Star #8; and depending on the Mountain # and Base # stars; etc... 2. Otherwise, what you had writte…

Dear Laura, Please read below:- -----Original Message----- From: Listmanager To: Recipients of 'free-advice' suppressed suppressed> Date: Sunday, June 27, 1999 1:52 AM Subject: windows Maybe you like to check the Free Eight House Report (www.geomancy-online.com) for both you and your partner, see if you are sleeping in a room where it falls under any of the bad influence. Also, see if the house is suitable for the two of you. If they are, then the problem could be because you have inauspicious stars which surrounds the rooms in your house, such as star 3 or some other bad combinations, which can be deduced with the Flying Star of the house. Next, look around the …

Hi, Recently, I read in the local newspapers that living too close to hight tension wires are not adviseable. However, rougly from what you have wrote, I guess the high tension poles/wires are quite far away. The recent article mentioned the higher incidence of `cancer' living too close to the high tension wires. If it quite far away, it usually do not pose any `threat' to your dinning room windows. In my personal opinion, if it is more than 600 metres away is still acceptable. If there are trees planted between the high tension poles and your home much the better. Let me share with you one of the Traditional Feng Shui Theories called " Penmanship ". In the past, many Chi…

Dear Mary, In my opinion: 1. Examine the frontage of the house. Does the frontage have a main entrance and "further away" on the same frontage, a set of sliding glass? If this is the situation, it is usually not advisable to have too many openings i.e. opening the main entrance door at the same time as the sliding glass doors. 2. If the above is the case, a set of long sofa can be placed in front of the sliding glass door. 3. Some people would like to apply the Eight House theory i.e. such that they prefer to seat at locations that are beneficial to them. And if the above position is beneifical or one of your good sectors, and you often sit there than that's fine. 4. Anot…
