This freehold property is a standalone `point-block' building. (More details can be found under the attached article: Source & credit - Today's Newspaper) As mentioned in past messages, the most simple of designs. Where air or qi flows all around the block.

ARE YOU PAYING MORE THAN WHAT YOU SHOULD FOR THAT PROPERTY? IS IT THE RIGHT TIME TO BUY? Another good tool to guage property prices is by looking at the Property Price Index. For example, if one had purchased a private property between 1998 and 1999; this was one of the best times to do so. As the private property price is lowest for quite sometime close to the 100 percent mark. If one looks at the graph, 2001 and 2002 seems quite good since for 4th quarter 02, it went to one of the lowest at 115.1 percent. In my opinion, perhaps if more and more condos are built, we could find the private property prices fall to as low as the 60 percentile mark as in 1983/1984 or lo…

Dear All, In my opinion, Housing Development Board (HDB) Executive Apartments similar to Executive Units 44 and Unit 56 is "inauspicious". If one looks carefully in the illustration, the edge of the master bedroom toilet (external wall) of Executive Unit 48 is aimed at the frontage area of Unit 44. While Executive unit 52's external wall is aimed at the frontage of Unit 56. Warmest Regards, Cecil Although it is not directly aimed at the main door, it the bulk of the flow is concentrated within the main door area. It will affect the main door since the `cutting' sha qi is wide and "penetrating". Erh.. good luck to those staying at Unit 44 or Unit 56 of Block 502A (12 store…

The following developments are handed over for those who can take over the units before the Chinese 7th month, this year:- 1. Changi Rise Condo (Just TOP a few weeks ago) 2. Goldenhill Park Condo (TOP a few months ago) 3. Goldenhill Villas (Just TOP, this week) 4. Amaranda Gardens (TOP a few months ago) 5. Springside Walk Villas Others: Looks like Nuovo EC is ready but, TOP is just a stone-throw away! In my opinion, this EC took quite sometime. But in my opinion, in long term, because of it's proximity to the MRT and Yio Chu Kang market plus schools, a very good buy for first time home owners. Congratulations on new home owners! who are collecting their keys. BTW…

This article shares light into the value of investing in a HDB apartment that is especially close to both MRT and amenities. Due to the government's relaxation of rules for renting out an entire HDB apartments, some have asked their parents to move-in with them. And have rented out their parent's HDB apartment especially in areas like Holland Village, Queenstown etc... HDB apartments does not costs that much as compared to a condo, yet, some can sometimes yield higher or equavalent rentals to such condos.... 1. As mentioned, in my earlier comments, those units circled in pink, should have NO problem even with the toilet bowl. Such units should be able to easily "weather" the "leak". 2. Yes, the additional WC can easily be removed. And one can apply for a one time check so that one no longer pays the conservancy charge for the extra WC. In terms of the Feng Shui, it is a better choice not to have this additional WC (if it is not fully needed). 3. For a partition, these are some common guidelines:- 3.1. Avoid placing shoes in the partition cabinet. 3.2 Avoid circular designs for the partition 3.3 Avoid placing a reflective glass facing the main door 3.4 A partition should if…

The morale of the story is that the rich gets richer, by investing in time and effort to secure (expert) help in finding a good home. The poor as usual, gets into a cycle of poverty: Imagine buying a home equivalent to a ten year old car. No matter how much effort is done (later) to improve their home, the Feng Shui of the home cannot turn it into a "gem" of a car! If one bought a run-down toyota, how to turn it into a lovely 7 series BMW? Again, it is like a family of 8 buying a home equivalent of a small Chinese cherry car! How to fit 8 persons in the car! No way! Have to purchase a car the equivalent of an MPV!

1. Ideally, in Feng Shui, it is best not to have blue-roof for buildings. 2. As a blue roof in the I-ching represents difficulties. Thus it is best not to have a blue roof i.e. nice-not-to have instead of must-not-have situation.

1. Waterfront waves is a new uncompleted development located at 760 to 782 Bedok Reservoir Road. 2. The estimated completion date is two years away in 2011. 3. This development belongs to Period 8:- 3.1 Excellent units especially for East Group persons are stacks: 03 and 04 (light blue) 3.2 In general, stacks 17 to 24 (in pink) has good qi frontage of approximately 60 degrees or NE3 facing direction. And correspondingly, stacks 15, 16 and 21, 22and 25 have stacks facing SW3. Equally good facing directions especially for the West Group. (Other than the consideration of the dreaded afternoon sun). 4. Stacks 01, 02, 05, 06, 07, 08, 09, 10, 13 and 14 (bright yellow…

This is a tiny condo development with a total of 34 units. Tenure left is 947 years to go. Estimated completion date is in mid 2011. It's a very uncommon "V" shaped layout plan. Flying star is a Period8 development. The main block with stacks 06& 07 facing NW. While stacks 08& 09 facing SE. And a smaller block with stacks 01 & 02 West 2 facing. And stacks 3 & 4 East 2 facing. I brought out this site as another example where we have to be careful of the "porcupines" i.e. sharp corners aimed at the individual units. Please refer to attachment: In this example, the most distinct poison arrow is the purple marking "D" where the sharp corner of stack 0…

If you are an architect or developer; please take note of this illustration. The architect of this small development of landed properties have cleverly made sure that none of the landed properties within this estate is affected by a home at the "T" junction. Please see attachment: circled in red. Instead of squeezing one or two more homes between this empty space, they have thus avoided what would have been a home facing a "T" Junction. An excellent way to over-come a home at a "T" Junction! Architects should learn from this Far East development.

Marina Collection is curently under construction in Sentosa island. It is a low rise of 4 storeys of luxury waterfront residences. There will be about 194 units ranging from 1700sqft to 2000sqft in size. Tenure is 99 years. Basedon Shapes andForms Feng Shui; a top-down (helicopter)showsaprofile that looks like an Indian warrior's axe. Please see attachment. Can yousee an image (in thick red outline) of an axe? With the handle at the bottom and thecurved axe shape?Iwon't want to be caught being a neighour as highlighted in purple "inauspicious"piece of land!

Eastpoint Green was completed in 1998 with a total of 684 units. It was developed by Nissho Iwai Corporation & Far East Organisation. Tenure of 99 years. Types of Units: Studio: 84 - 94 sq m 2 bedrooms: 89 - 121 sq m 3 bedrooms: 104 - 144 sq m 4 bedrooms: 175 - 195 sq m Penthouse: 215 sq m Eastpoint Green is directly opposite the Changi General Hospital. It is also within walking distance ofSimei MRT Station and Eastpoint Shopping Mall. Although the blocks "flow" with the site based on Shapes and Forms Feng Shui; but one of the major dislikes is that all the stacks (units) are in the shape of a "butterfly." Under symbolism in Feng Shui; a butterfly has a …

1. The Petals is one of the sites with good effort on Shapes & Forms Feng Shui. The six blocks are harmoniously blended into not exactly a triangle site. 2. It looks modern yet, its profile looks like the side of an olive or even a rugby ball. Each of the 6 blockssuppose to looklike petals ofthe flower.. that is how the condo was named after. 3. One of the most friendly designs. If one looks at each block closely in relation to the other 5 blocks (total of 6 blocks); there are no sha qi or poison arrows aimed at one another. 4. Another advantage of this type of blocks is that qi can flow easily between all the blocks without creating unnecessary "distrubed wind …

1. Under the current period: 8 (2004 to 2023); the areas to look out for in Singapore would be the NE corridor of Punggol / Seletar area. 2. Another area is already evident is in the SW sector Singapore. Go down to Boon Lay and one can see that this is the busiest sub-urban place-to-be in Singapore. 3. In the next 10 years or so, the NE corridor would gradually also see much activities. NE would be seen as more of a "physical" recreational activity hub... while the SW more of a "work cum window shopping" kinda-of a place. 4. It does not mean that the whole population has to move to NE or SW - goodness me! Nowadays with easy transportation: MRT and many own cars; it …

1. The road sign in one of the photos says : " Sixth Avenue". 2. This house is at the apex of a " Y " fork road. 3. To the right side of the main entrance door is a large open canal. Generally, this is not auspicious. See photo: Shapesnforms4.jpg 4. The home is an acute triangle shape. Hmm.... not the best of Shapes and Forms Feng Shui....
