Dear Daniel, Frankly, I will not be able to comment much on what your previous master has used to analyse your feng shui. In terms of our website:- To find whether a house is good or not under the house hunting analysis:- 1. Flying Star of the house built in a period will determine which facing direction would be most ideal (assuming the ba zi and suitability isn't yet considered). So different period (ie period 7 house will have certain direction better, period 8 house will have another set of direction better). 2. Then you need to check against your ba zi element ie weak wood likes water, thus North facing (water) is usually good. 3. In addition to the ba zi element, it would be good that the Eight House (does not fall under at least Death or Disaster.) In fact, if both Eight House and Ba Zi direction are good, it will be considered the most suitable house for you. So you see there are several difference theories available. Our house hunting does all these analysis to obtain the best possible facing direction that considers all forms of analysis. Even that, you will still need to match the various bedroom sector so that all your family members each have a suitable facing sector to make the house search complete. My best guess is that your previous master could just only focus on the best house direction based on either Flying Star only or only one concept to define your best house direction. As mentioned, since there are so many different feng shui practitioners/master. You will really have to determine if they really know their stuff or how much details they use in the analysis. I think in the case of a trailer, you should focus on making the maximium use of the small space available so that it is practical and useful. If you do wish to apply some feng shui, then go for suitable colour schemes rather than worrying about where is the good or bad sector based on flying star. Cannot apply flying star and eight house simply because a trailer will not have a true fixed location. If you part the trailer in a different direction, then your so call feng shui cures for the flying star will need to be shifted along with it. So not really going to be practical. More likely, if you follow your ba zi, ie weak wood, then have your trailer in water (blue/black/gray) colour etc. This would be very much more practical for your trailer feng shui application. If there are renovations (especially major ones), ie hacking of walls or changing of interior structure of the house or expansion of the house etc. Such major renovations may cause a birthdate to be changed to a new period. It is nice to get everything suitable to your personal feng shui. However, sometimes due to constraints this might not be possible. Especially, for office sitting directionis limited unless you own a room to yourself. Often, most people do not have much choice or flexibility in such changes. From what you mentioned, the current position would still be most shapes and form friendly position than to change the direction of your desk to your best facing direction. These direction are nice to have and only applicable if it is possible to place them in that direction and still comply to a good shapes and form arrangement. It really depends on your job scope as well, if people are going to be visiting you in your office, than it would be more practical and welcoming if you face the door so that you can see the people entering. If you don't need to meet people, then it should still be find if you face the wall. Ultimately, the overall shaps and form would be most important.
