1. Please note that NW has two concerns:- 1.1. The trigarm at NW represents Head (male breadwinner) of the house. And a stove there can symbolise "Fire at Heaven's gate". 1.2. NW also represents Heaven Luck. Thus a stove there symbolises "no luck" (lack of luck from heaven). 2. Based on the eight house concept (ba cai or 4 good or 4 bad (East/west group), the best stove directionsfor the lady of the home is where the stove faces one's good direction. 3. Thus, if one is a West group person, it is favourable for say, theentire stove to face Westwith a supporting wall atthe East.

1. This shop is located at Pan Pacific Hotel - linked to the Marina Square Shopping centre. It has been operating at this location for several years already. 2. This shop is in full view of the up and down escalator...

1. Please note that us human beings have our ba zi (or individual and combined ba zi) elements. 2. In addition, a home also has it's own "birth chart" or ba zi. Usually, it can be evaluated using Flying Star Feng Shui. A proper Feng Shui audit uses both Para 1 and 2 to determine the best colours for an area. This is normally how it is done, today. In the past, Feng Shui was not so "sophisticated" then and some either apply Kindergarten type of Feng Shui; where north = water, south = fire etc... Unfortunately, there are some who still uses this type of Feng Shui.

There are two major dimensions, here:- 1. The Holy Trinity of Luck Have mentioned many times that the Chinese system is based on:- Heaven Luck (born with) Earth Luck (Feng Shui) & Human or Man luck (often family support, bonding and networking) 2. Earth Luck or Feng Shui The rich gets richer because they can afford better homes and especially homes that give them a quantum leap i.e. homes that have superior Feng Shui. I had always mentioned, previously that for some, their homes may be equivalent of a 10 year old run down car. Thus realistically, even how much the home has been Feng Shuied - cannot turn the home (equivalent of the car) into a gem or a mercedes benz or bmw. 3. Thus so what if you have a Feng Shui assessment? Location, location and location is important. While some homes can truly benefit from a proper Feng Shui audit, some homes, simply cannot be improved. 4. For your friend, the main "controllable" item is his/her human or man luck. Often, many of us don't have good Feng Shui nor blessed with good born with luck. But, if we have good support especially from family members or relatives, then this is indeed a plus point.

1. Yes, it is very common to bring in items into the home before move-in. 2. If it is not the 7th month, it is not the 7th month. As mentioned in a recent forum message, the elderly just don't like the 6th month. Not because it is the "7th" month (how can this be) BUT rather, the elderly don't like it because it symbolises 50-50. Neither here nor there as the 6th month is half-half (between the 1st and the 12th lunar month). This is the rationale behind why some elderly reasoned as no good - 6th month, that's all.

1. For practical reasons, it is acceptable to bring in "items" for the new home. 2. The most common items are definitely new furnitures; delivery of new fridge, washing machine etc... As often we don't have a control nor want to have huge bottleneck when suddenly nearly everyone turns up at the home to do an installation. 3. Frankly, it is fine to bring in "old" or used furniture or items. Just to take note that especially during the Chinese 7th month; and if one really wants to avoid the notation that one has moved in during the 7th month should not do any 3 of these activities:- 3.1. Prepare cooked meals and eat the meal at the dining table PLUS 3.2. Bathe in the home. (If it is a condo, no issue with swimming and going to the condo public toilet to bathe there) PLUS 3.3. For the masters of the home, avoid sleeping especially on a proper bed in the master bedroom. 4. Thus,if we want to avoid like "accidentally"considered as moved-in to a new home especially during the Chinese 7th month, then if possible try to avoidcontinuous activity of 3.1 to 3.2. to 3.3. If allthese activities are done, then it may be considered as moved-in. 5. Can draw a parallel with Chinese wedding (customs and procedures). Here, many couples have done now and in the past: put on their wedding glowns and suites and taken wedding photos way in advance of the actual Traditional Chinese wedding ceremony. 6. Taking wedding photos in the wedding glowns and suites does not necessarily mean that one has consummate the wedding on the photo taking day. 7. Thus bringing in items is very common - and practical in our modern world.

1. Statistically, even locally in my country, all landed property estates with semi-detached homes will have homes that mirror each other. Some homes with garage to the "right" and some with garage to the "left". 2. In my opinion, the comments by the building contractor is purely "kindergarten" type of Feng Shui. There are thousands - and - one more concerns that are more important than this. Some of them are listed in the link below:- http://wiki.geomancy.net/wiki/Want_to_build_your_dream_home%3F 3. As we all know especially semi-detached homes, it is a set of two homes mirrored at the "centre". And locally, there are LOTS of such homes. 4. More importantly: Location, location and location has the highest weightage : including like the drainage of the home, the facing direction of a home etc...

1. Frankly, sharing a wall with the toilet is acceptable or quite common. However, just make sure that the toilet bowl is on the opposite wall. Thus more importantly, avoid the toilet bowl (and sewerage) piping sharing the same wall as the bed-head. 2. So long as the legs do not face the bedroom door, it is acceptable. 3. If there is window on the same wall as the bed: and the concern is either rain blowing into the room and or cigarette bud being blown into the room. Or allow a child to climb and have access to the window from the bed. 4. Having a bed-head facing one's good direction is NICE-to have and not a must have. 5. Thus overall, based on your description, both seems acceptable. However, again you also consider where is the wardrope. And avoid having the bed at a corner of a room - without any circulating ventilation.

1. Some guidelines for an altar:- 1.1. Must not be fancy rainbow colours - like a circus - colour. Colour has to be "serious". Can be any tone of wood or wood grain or artifical wood - laminates. 1.2. All types of wood tone colours can be fine e.g. rosewood, teakwood, oak, maple, beech, nyatoh or pine. 1.3. If painted or laminated, can be white, off-white, cream beige, brownish colours. 1.4. Only thing is that the material of the table top MUST not be glass or granite or marble or any of such materials that can break and crash. However, there is no issue with the table top being wood and a piece of glass placed to protect the surface of the glass. Yes, this has been done by many people before. N J. wrote: So can the renovation carry on in 7th lunar month, if it started any day before 1st day of 7th month?

1. Most importantly, Chinese don't like to move into a home during the following circumstances or "months":- 1. Qin Ming month 2. Some old folks advise their family members not to move-in during the 6th lunar month. As they consider 6th lunar month is half-way mark. Or 50-50. So to them, everything will become 50-50 or half-half. 3. 7th Lunar month. 4. If one one takes a closer look at what I had wrote, it is associated with the words MOVE-IN. 5. Of course, many try to be kiasu (scared to die) and nowadays, everything in the 7th month also very scared to do. 6. As you had mentioned, it is perfectly fine if one wants to - start renovations before the 7th month. 7. There is no issue having a Feng Shui practitioner go to a home anytime. It is not like the Feng Shui practitioner is going to move-in to the home or something like that. 8. In fact, there are many who sign on the dotted line for the purchase of a home even during the 7th month! 9. Actually, many Chinese don't realise, only one or two days in the 7th month is regarded as not so auspicious otherwise, some Chinese regard especially some days of the 7th month is being auspicious! For example, any or every 1st lunar day and the 15th lunar days of any Chinese lunar months are suppose to be auspicious days as this days are Full moon days.

1. To activate a "mountain star"; no need to buy expensive items like the purple "mountain" or ametyst stone etc... 2. Solid objects range from a bowl of REAL coins to as you have mentioned tose plastic container that looks like a Chinese ingot. It can also range from smoothen rocks as found at the seaside. So long they either symbolically look like or are real solid objects.

Some of the methods used to find the "Center-of-gravity". Frankly, all three center-of-gravity are pretty close to each other.
-
In my opinion, as the terrace area is large, and considering the "center-of'gravity" if we exclude this "terrace" portion, I would personally consider the "extra area of Living Room (in RED)as a protusion instead. Sometimes, rudimentary action can be: - place a copy of the layout plan and paste it onto a cardboard. - cut out the outline (exlude the terrace only). - balance the cardboard on a pin. As the floor area of the protusion is small, most likely your "CENTER of GRAVITY" would fall close to the centrepoint of the rectangle as shown by the crossing of the two diagonal lines.
-
Frankly, one has to see the actual interior layout plan. For example, in the attachment, Either "A" has a protusion e.g. garage or could also be "B". I really can't tell from a block of grey colour. In addition, is this home two levels e.g. ground floor and 1st storey? If there is a ground floor, is there an enclosed space e.g. the main door, or sliding door living room area? See attachment.

Most people usually don't have the time nor the patience to monitor Flying Stars up to the micro levels. The key success factor is to consider the 20 Year Flying Star and concentrate on this. And the very few look at the Yearly stars. Thus, if the yearly stars together with the 20 year Flying stars are examined, this is often already very good. If one wants to go into the monthly flying stars; then best to consider the most serious star e.g. #5. And for other stars like #3, consider it in-relation to how many of these stars are within the 20 year, year at that sector. Only those with better knowlege can look at it with other stars like #4 etc...

For compatibility based purely on the Chinese Zodiac signs:- http://www.lovesigns.net/horoscope/acompare/acompare.htm These are generalisations and rather superficial.

1. From my perspective, I have encountered numerous individuals who have opted for resale condominiums. Nevertheless, the majority of these units are fitted with either new or reasonably well-maintained stoves. Many people deem it unnecessary to replace such appliances. 2. This tendency is a fundamental aspect of human nature. When we receive feedback, particularly from our parents, we often engage in deep reflection regarding our actions. 3. Frequently, it requires someone close to us to provide critical feedback in order to stir feelings of guilt within ourselves. 4. Your inquiry is primarily centered on personal beliefs and does not pertain to the principles of Feng Shui. 5. Feng Shui encompasses the evaluation of whether the stove is appropriately positioned, along with other factors in the kitchen.

Anonymous wrote: Moreover, she really seems not suitable for water or fire element especially in red or blue clothes. I notice the times she got painful knocks or fall sick coincide with big fire, water days. In my opinion, what you had mentioned above is indeed a tell-tale sign that the ba zi analysis is not correct. Anonymous wrote: As her name previously pick is of strong water and fire element, it seems not helpful. She is a difficult child to take care. Do you advise to get her name changed? You may consider having her name changed especially if the wrong ba zi analysis may have been done earlier. However, currently birth cert would have her original Chinese name. And if she does have a christian name, then less effective. As everyone will be calling her by her christian name vs her mandarin name. Nevertherless, you may want to consider getting her name "fixed".
