  1. It should be the Year of the Metal-Tiger! http://www.lovesigns.net/horoscope/astro/mtiger.htm
  2. She is not only SWEET, She is also CUTE ..... (ugly but adorable!)
  3. A Judge says: Meet my finance minister! At home: My wife is the Minister of Finance! And I am the minister without any portfolio!
  4. To sort out our country's mess, we are getting Chinese astrologers to look at our illegal detainees! Why get Chinese astrologers? Why not get our own western field of astrologers? OK, the reason is because:- 1. Our western astrologers charge a bomb 2. Our western astrologers are now on strike! They want lesser work days and more pay! 3. I believe, the findings by Chinese astrologers would be more accurate and thought provoking! 4. The Chinese have 5 centuries of experience in this field. Our western astrologers belong to a young field...
  5. How often are we blessed with a wonderful boss! Won't it be great if we can work for him? Truly inspirational... makes us want to become our own boss!
  6. 1. I can only make a general comment : as considerations like the distance to the slope, exactly how far the gradient to the living room etc.. 2. For a ground unit condo unit, it is very common to have similar "landscaping". Sometimes it is a blessing in disguise as it may inadvertenly afford greater privacy for parts of the facing direction of the home e.g. next to the living room is often a bedroom etc.. 3. A picture would be an excellent choice! Someapartments have PES (personal enclosed space) and if there are railingsor wooden trellis, it would most likely cover the level of the ground.. i.e. if it is not seen ... it is "no longer a threat"... 4. What is more important are things like any tree trunks that slice towards the living room area, bedroom windows since the unit is at ground floor. 5. For club-house, usually where is the roof, as often the roof is semi-circular and more likely may slice thru a unit especially those with high ceiling be it a ground unit or 2nd or even 3rd storey. 6. More importantly, is a water position auspicious or not in relation to the position of the unit in the condo. Anonymous wrote: The living room is facing the swimming pool (on same level) , so at the same time also facing a slope , becoz this slope is the pathway that leads to the swimming pool. If i stand in the living room facing the swimming pool, this slope is higher at the left and lower at the right. Is this bad fengshui? Thanks!
  7. 1. Frankly, this cannot apply to every single home that has an empty space below it. 2. For example, if so, how about the thousands of Housing Board Flats (government HDB flats) that are scattered all over the island? Does it mean that every single owners of HDB, HUDC flats at 2nd storey will get into "deep shit?" 2.1 If we were to walk around all over Singapore, many have stayed, and are still staying at the 2nd storey flats. I don't see specifically lots of empty flats immediately above VOID decks do you? 3. It has more to do with location, location and location. 4. When the Ritz CaltonHotel was built, they seeked advice from a Feng Shui Master and the Master recommended that the hotel be on "stilts" or legs with empty space below it. The reason the master quoted was thatthis would prevent bad spirits from "coming" in to the hotel. 5. I have audited many cases and some of the owners haveupgraded to either a freehold or landed property. 6. Commonsense approach to Feng Shui Someapartments have a shelteredcar park immediately within the void deck area. And in the unlikely event that the 'car burst' into flames... -because of this, some say it is bad to have a car parked directly below say a bedroom. 7. Thus, what you had mentioned is not true to all or most homes and it depends! Anonymous wrote: Heard that in Fengshui if we get a unit (condo/flat) that has no other units below (eg. 3rd floor unit, and level 1 and 2 is empty space due to the design), the fengshui is No Good.
  8. 1. There are three major considerations if Feng Shui is applied to evaluate the new private property:- 1.1. Commonsense Approach to Feng Shui Morning and Afternoon sun is a major consideration for any home especially for countries like Singapore at or close to the equator. Majority of the time it is either the master bedroom or two bedrooms of the homes that will be "bathed" by afternoon sun. (Direct morning sun is not ideal but not as bad as afternoon sun. This forum has touched on some of the concerns of afternoon sun and it has an effect on persons living in the home. For children, their studies - the heat... 1.2. Shapes and Forms Feng Shui Location, location, location: any specific traits such as slopes, large drainage can have a huge impact on a home. Even where the drainage drains out of the home is critical! For example, most homes have three excellent drainage (and even left to right , right to left flow of drainage): two locations are wealth and the third is for power and authority i.e. can go far in politics (business or government) 1.3. Compass School Feng Shui: How suitable the home is to the breadwinner and the Flying Star Feng Shui Even for the Compass School, things like west house is not good enough. Which compass point the home is facing, or is the home very bad if it falls smack in the middle of one sector and the other.. which implies doom. Thus, it is not so simplistic to say main door faces west....... For the Compass School, eight house concept, also can take into account which bedroom is better for which family member.... This link shows a sample of what to look out for in the quest for a "dream home":- http://wiki.geomancy.net/wiki/Want_to_build_your_dream_home%3F Anonymous wrote: Im interested in a new private property. But its main door faces west. And the living room and balcony faces the East. Is west facing door a problem? Thanks

  10. These people did not listen to their geomancer! Instead of enjoying M8W8B8 (Mountain star #8; Water star #8 & Base #8) They are now suffering from N1H1
  11. 1. If you have a sketch, it would be better! 2. Overall, so long as the spiral staircase is not facing the main entrance door directly, this is a plus point. 3. Is the steps for the spiral staircase fully covered or it is one "plank" onto another "plank" with open spaces in-between.
  12. Yes, for practical reasons, the clue here is "my resale flat will only be available in Aug 09":- Under the following conditions:- 1. If possible an chuang should only be done once. Thus if you had an chuang in a "previous" home e.g. currently staying with parents or rental, then should not be done at your "new" resale flat, again. 2. If already, pregnant or has had a child with (the same husband). Generally, there are the two considerations.
  13. 1. For your first question, not a major concern so long as the cover for the sewerage hole is fully sealed. As we don't want "gas" e.g. methane to escape from the man-hole. 2. It is never advisable to have the septic tank around the center of the home. Given that logically how do you drain off excess "gas - methane or other gases". Your second question, is a more important concern. While the first can easily be "rectified" i.e. make sure that the gas or dirty air don't flow and contaminate cooked food in anyway. Wasis S. wrote: Dear Cecil, Is it considered a leak if a sewerage pipe (from toilet bowl to septic tank) running under a kitchen? But the pipe is not under the stove, only running below the corner of the kitchen. I want to know you opinion about septic tank around the center of the house. Is it considered a major leak? Thanks in advance. Regards, Wasis
  14. In general, it looks OK. Other than it can be exposed to the northern islands or islets of Indonesia, and it can be exposed to tsunami's.
  15. 1. Apartment (House number) analysis is about the storey (floor) or level a home is. Thus youshould input: 02 - 3342 . Where 02 = 2nd storey and 3342 is the apartment stack's number. Frankly, there are so manyNumerology methods. Too many methods available. Thus, somemay consider it bad while some may just consider the numbers acceptable or even auspicious. Therefore, it is difficult to commentsince one has to find out what method was used to say that the house number was bad and this is not based on either the above Para 1or other Feng Shui methods. 2.Para 1, is based on Vertical Flying Star Feng Shui. Where each level is considered as having different qi influence. Thus a unit at #02 second storey, would have a different qi from the same unit at #03 etc... 3. The other more common Flying Star Feng Shui is the "horizontal" analysis of using the 9 grids or pie chart that many are familiar, here.
  16. Agnes C. wrote: Dear Master,if have wealth leak ....like my balcony window is infront of main door ,what did you advise me or what im going to do? pls. advise me....thank you very much 1. Yes, this is one of the most common issues concerning unable to save money. I strongly believe there are at least two more other wealth leaks but this beyond the means, here as it involves an audit. 2. The most effective is to make sure that there is no direct path between the main door towards this balcony window opening. One of the methods is the use of a 'divider or partition'. 3. Today, there was another question on the divider at the main door. You can check out the link in that message or check the hyper link to that article from this wiki: http://wiki.geomancy.net/wiki/Divider_or_Partition 4. The above link shows some of the considerations when installing a partition. Cecil L. wrote: Usually for such a home often there are at least 3 or more major wealth leaks. One of the most common leaks for such a home is a straight path of qi (chi) from one side of the home's window to another opening. (This opening can also be a window, door or balcony opening. It is best to try to figure out what is the wealth leak, here.
  17. In general, it depends on what type of home one stays in:- 1. landed property Here; if you have a garden, then your landscaping can form a "profile" of the missing corner. And depending on the extend, sometimes even a strategic lamp post can be used as a marker. Thus from a helicopter view, one can see the "missing corner" filled up. 2. Apartments Usually, and depends on the interior of the home, mirror in-side the home (north) sector can help to "extend" the missing corner. Alternatively, depending on circumstances, a concave mirror may be placed outside to "suck" back the missing corner wealth. Some Chinese practitioners ask their clients to place certain objects at that sector to "compensate for the " missing corner. For example, north = tortise object. But this method is not commonly used by all practitioners. Only some practitioners - recommend this.
  18. Please note that this is only a GENERAL advice forum. Your question is very specific on an individual's ba zi. You may have to get professional help i.e. paid service from whom ever you feel like it. Please refer to my earlier reply to your separate posting. First and foremost, priority goes to the Shapes and Forms Feng Shui. Head facing a good direction is "nice-to-have" and not a "must-have". Lorraine A. wrote: I have recently moved house, can i place by bed on the wall in front of a boarded fireplace?
  20. 1. Appreciate if you can do a SEARCH in this forum e.g. Partition or Partition at Main door. 2. For example:- http://forum.geomancy.net/phpforum/article.php?bid=2&fid=1&mid=17460&new= Under this link please go and read PARA 5. 3. There are already lots of resources on this subject. And Para 3 under the above link is another consideration. 4. Furthermore, your question is so general. And in addition there is no clue as to whether the partition serves any purpose at all i.e. is there a direct path from the main door to the "window" or balcony window etc...
  21. Frankly, there is no hard and fast rule; try to get advise from family members or friends when they come over. As even if ask me now, I would be able to undertand the situation. As other factors include the lighting condition etc... Thus seek the advice of people close-by to see if they feel "comfortable" with the present situation.
  22. 1. You are trying to apply the Eight House concept to your bedroom arrangement. 2. Please note that this Eight House concept where I understand that you are a East group person i.e. South, SE etc... is a "nice-to" apply but not a "Must-need-to" apply. 3. First and foremost (unfortunately) as you had mentioned, a bedroom usually have a bedroom door, windows and other openings such an attached toilet. 4. Thus as you had already mentioned, as much as you would like to place your bed against "south" this is where your bedroom door is! 5. Frankly, from your description, it is still hard to figure out the entire bedroom layout. However, as mentioned, one of the most important critera is the Shapes and Forms of the bedroom. 6. Thus, although it is "nice-to" sleep with your bed-head facing a good direction, BUT, the natural layout - based on Shapes and Forms has a higher weightage. Equally if you could sleep 'boarded firepace in the southeast as mentioned by you above, try to do so. 7. One more point is to avoid the legs facing the bedroom door (where possible). This is known as a coffin position.
  23. Usually for such a home often there are at least 3 or more major wealth leaks. One of the most common leaks for such a home is a straight path of qi (chi) from one side of the home's window to another opening. (This opening can also be a window, door or balcony opening. It is best to try to figure out what is the wealth leak, here.
