1. An effective method is to provide an example. However, it is important to clarify that this represents a previous review or analysis, and not that of May Springs condo. 2. One should at least possess an understanding of Flying Star Feng Shui, or ideally, comprehend the significance of the numbers, or attempt to follow my explanation here. 3. The chart presented below pertains to Flying Star Period 8 (2004 to 2043) = NE3 (North-East 3) Feng Shui. 4. Where can one find the current prosperity wealth luck for this period? Identify the Mountain Star (MS) and Water Stars (WS) = #8? 5. During this period, the MS is situated at NE (refer to the chart below), while the WS is positioned at SW. 6. While these two #8's are expected to last from 2004 to 2023 in theory or on paper, in practice, by 2021, they have already faded and weakened. 7. Therefore, in actuality, starting from 2021, one should identify the locations of MS = #9 and SW = #9. The positions of these two stars dictate the areas of "new" current prosperity and wealth luck, which spans from 2023 to 2043. However, as previously stated, this shift has already taken place by 2021. 8. In this instance, the chart for this unit continues to be classified as belonging to or originating from Period 8 NE3. The sole distinction is that the CURRENT location of prosperity and wealth luck has transitioned from NE/SW to the South and East. 9. Furthermore, starting from this Period, #1's transforms into the Future or Coming Prosperity wealth luck, which corresponds to the North and Southeast sectors. 10. Consequently, for May Springs Condo, the residences within this development are classified under Period 7 (1984 to 2003), having received the Temporary Occupation Permit (T.O.P.) in 1998. 10.1. For May Springs Condo, from the time the first occupants received their keys until the maximum year of 2003, the prevailing prosperity wealth luck was #7. By 2001 (covering the years 2004 to 2023), the wealth luck transitioned to #8. From 2024 to 2043, it is necessary to determine the locations of the MS and WS #9. 10.2. From 2044 to 2063, the wealth luck will shift to #1. Following that, from 2064 to 2083, the wealth luck will evolve to #2, and so forth... 11. Below is the sample chart utilized in the preceding illustration:-

1. Frankly some are embedded under specific culture and may or should not be universally applied. 2. For the Chinese, whenever a deceased was brought home prior to the funeral rites that follow after (in a landed home). 3. The casket would be brought into the home e.g. living room HEAD first. And when it is time for the funeral, the legs GO out of the DOOR. 4. Thus this is a strong symbolism that whenever one's legs face a door, it is called "Sleeping under a Coffin Position". 4.1. For outsiders who are often not offered such an explanation may perhaps be perplexed by it. 4.2. Therefore, some practices come under specific culture / racial lines which may not apply to other person's culture. 5. In fact, many veteran ambulance medics / carrying the sick from their homes out of the house would often also bring the person HEAD first. 6. Anything to do with Common sense? 6.1. I believe, some may feel quite odd perhaps due to privacy purposes to have a bed facing the bedroom door. Especially one has two or more other family members in the home. As opposed to having the bed "deeper" in the bedroom.

Your sentiments are already echoed in a past resource: An extract of an article written in 2016:- These are some considerations 1. It should be 14 steps. 2. In Feng Shui; it is always good to have a turn or landing at a staircase. 2.1. Some geomancers explain that it is to allow good qi to meander or flow from the ground floor to the upper floor and vice versa. 3. Another side of it has more to do with common sense: 3.1. This is because, touch-wood! If someone were to trip and fall on the upper stairs, often they will land onto the landing then to fall all the way down the entire stairs sometimes to the bottom steps. 3.2. A landing serves as a temporary resting area for some elderly before they further negotiate further up the staircase. 3.2.1. Therefore, it makes sense or ok to have a wider landing.

Part 2: Teochew Mee Pok Stalls all over Singapore
Cecil Lee replied to Cecil Lee's topic in Current Affairs & Lifestyle
At Yishun 21 Food Court (Blk 925 combined MSCP car park) Noodle is sweet as can taste tomato ketchup. Otherwise not bad. Noodles are also the commercial thicker version. They seem to use commercially produced fishballs - more flour than anything but fish. The fish balls are so so. No wonder 24 hours stall. A good stall often opens for a few hours especially once their ingredients are sold out. Can eat only. More of a morning comfort food. -
Frankly Feng Shui is not one size fits all. One has to do homework and for example apply both Shapes and Forms (Water classics) as well as determining the frontage. Which can fall into any of these 24 sectors.

Frankly, the key to understanding the concept of stairs with the front door is this: "Under symbolism in Feng Shui, best that when one stands at the front door looking inwards, one should not directly see the stairs [flowing] towards the front door. Thus the key fundamental concern is the above. What you had mentioned is either secondary or "peanuts" or not a major issue.
