  1. Case Study: Do you know that even if a geomancer says that the site is excellent, all sites are govern by the concept of the Bell Curve 1. Personally, I am not drawn to the exterior "industrial SME building" look of Waterway Terraces I & II. 1.1. Anyway, this has more to do with personal preferences. And I equally do not like the odd non-functional balcony. 1.2. Remember, even if a geomancer says that he/she does not have a "good impression"; it does not mean that all stacks/units in a certain development are bad. However, a good unit also depends on where it is within the development: 2. Is your potential unit under the Good, the Bad or the Ugly? 3. Often if one is lucky, even if the unit is not so fantastic superficially. Some units are like an unpolished gem. While others unfortunately may be a hopeless rotten apple. 3.1. Just imagine, if the unit is like a 10 year old rundown 1,000 cc car. Even a good Feng Shui Master is unable to turn it into a good unit! By the way, (above) this falls under Habit Number 11. 4. Under Habit 1, one possibility is by ranking one's bedroom type by stack/unit: 1st choice, 2nd choice etc... Reference: Habit 1 can be found under this link:-
  2. Case Study 1 Sample Off-site Can or Cannot Buy review of a potential unit in Chiltern Park Condo 1. Yes, it it essential also to study the external of the unit. 2. This unit's Master Bedroom has a nasty #5 = misfortune/sickness with #2 = sickness at SW. Fortunately.. this is a solid wall of the master bedroom. 3. In fact, this review takes a 360 degrees look at the unit. If you do have some photos, ask permission and take some shots:
  3. Hi Robert, Not sure if you remember me but you helped with the naming of our first child 4years ago. My Wife delivered our second child yesterday and I would like to engage your service again in picking a name for him. Attached is the completed form.
  4. Please understand what is Habit 1:- Extract: Case Study 29: Built from Scratch + Water Classics of drainage out of the house 1. Which sector is suitable for what? 2. Best Bed-head + study directions for the kids. 3. You wrote: "Regarding drain pipes where is the best place for the drainage to go? Out the water area?" 3.1. Frankly, it is so easy to shoot a question. And presto? An answer arrives on screen? 3.2. Someone has to evaluate the plot, analyze and come up with an answer, please. Unfortunately, answers does not simply drop down from the sky. LOL Reference:-
  5. Or from the above reference link:- Case Study 4A: Applying Ba Zi Feng Shui + Who sleeps where is no accident Major concepts: a. Eight House Concept: Who sleeps where? b. Flying Star Feng Shui c. Ba Zi Feng Shui: Binding elements (colours) d. Shapes & Forms: Kitchen at NW - Fire@Heaven's Gate 1. Both partners individual best colours are combined to find a common denominator. 2. In this example, both partners have a common element: Water element. 3. Thus in the master bedroom, water element is one of the colours used in this bedroom. 4. In addition, who sleeps where is no accident. 4.1. This is because the Qi flowing from NE towards the bedroom window is inauspicious for Mrs. 4.2. Thus Mr sleeps closer to the windows to shield or protect Mrs. 5. At NE sector, from now till 2023 = Very auspicious. But from 2024 onwards, this becomes past prosperity. 6. This unit is also affected by the inauspicious Fire at Heaven's Gate. As the earlier case studies 2 and 3 had already covered this, no longer discussed, here. Case Study 4B: Both Mr & Mrs are West group persons. It is Nice-to have the bed-head as shown, below. Furthermore, the position of the bed fits very well with Shapes and Forms Feng Shui i.e. interior layout plan. P.S. Bed-head faces NW direction.
  6. A case of misplaced misunderstanding of the Eight House Concept as in the earlier question. It is used instead or has more to do with things like a. Eight House Concept: Who sleeps where? etc... Extract of Case Study 1: Identifying Health Issues early in the Master Bedroom (If any) Major concepts: a. Eight House Concept: Who sleeps where? b. Flying Star Feng Shui: NW MS#5 W#2 (Nasty Stars) c. Ba Zi Feng Shui: Binding elements (colours) d. Shapes & Forms: Poison arrow from sharp corner of ward-rope 1. In this illustration: #5 = misfortune with #2 sickness affects the health of women. 2. This issue was identified and this flaw can be discussed with the client as one of the considerations to take note of should they still want to go through with the purchase of this unit. 3. Engaging a Feng Shui Master (FSM)? Check that they do provide you with a detailed Feng Shui report. 4. It is a good practise for Comprehensive Feng Shui audits to do so is because all the concepts are laid to bare for the FSM to have a big picture of the home. And better able to plan the Feng Shui exercise. Reference:
  7. 1. Please note that this concept called Eight House or 4 good / 4 bad directions is used to determine how suitable a house is to the breadwinner:- 2. Thus as far as the Main Door / Frontage is, it is not about this:- "Death direction for the spouse. WIll this really effect the spouse? Can Death mean transformation or is it truly illness, disease and death?" 3. Look, at Habit No. 9: Three Steps Approach for the Eight House/ 4 Good 4 Bad 3.1. Try not to misinterpret this concept and turn it into something of a "death-wish".
  8. 16.7.2020 Similar situation ... HDB Estate at Buangkok Woods Currently this is a Low density road...
  9. Bamboo leaves not only litter the floor. But also needs trimming.

  11. This stove-washing machine layout is terrible Reference: Read Case Study 17 in full:- P.S. Sometimes purchasing a condo or EC unit is a “downgrade” or rather some call it a sacrifice of space! LOL
  12. Case Study 17: The Siamese-Twin of Stove-Washing Machine - For example 3 Bedroom Deluxe - C 1b 1. Under Shapes and Forms Feng Shui, it is not ideal for the stove to be "glued" together side-by-side with a Washing Machine. (Who cares if it is a Washer/Dryer .. it is still first and foremost looks like a Washing Machine. And this is it's primary function). 1.1. Here, even if the washing machine is not seen, as shown here by dotted lines, the fact is that they are side-by side. 1.2. Thus it is still considered as a clash of Fire and Water element. 2. Common sense 2.1. Every washing machine needs detergent to work. Worse if it is the power form. Given that even if one is careful to scoop powder detergent into the powder bin, there will still be minute power flying around the kitchen. Worse if it is slightly windy. 2.2. When the washing machine is on, the drum may be heated up and often, vapours containing detergent may coat any surface area of the kitchen. Especially the kitchen table top. 2.3. The "good" news is that food may taste so much better! But such substances or "white powder" aka. fake heroine dusts can be deadly through the years. 3. Okay, the Agent tells me that the washer is enclosed with a door! Why worry? Do look at the door, it will often always have ventilation openings to cool the machine. 3.1. In fact, many of such "built" in washing machines may not have a door installed. Or give and take a few years, some residents find it such a hinder that they totally remove it or the door simply fell off and never replaced! 4. No choice, one has to live with it. Thus best not to use the washing machine when cooking. And avoid leaving plates, mugs and utensils lying around when using washing machine + dryer. 5. This is why, prior to smaller kitchens, do notice that in the past, there is always a separate YARD for a washing machine. And as mentioned, this is based on common sense - safety. 6. Thus, even if the developer says that all bedrooms and living rooms face the same opening area; please tell the developer, many other developments have equally efficient layout minus this "health" BOO BOO. 7. The narrow Foyer + kitchen layout is a turn-off for me. 8. Furthermore, it is still preferred to have the HS door facing the opposite site. Unless one says that "I DON'T COOK!". 9. If one is a "lover" of using heavy oils like Olive oil to cook, Good Bless You! As Olive oil has low flash-point and can be "export" very thick and sticky grime.. Bad news also is that peanut, palm oil or just any oil is not friendly to the HS shelter and it's door. Maid: "Mum, I resign." Mum: "Why?" Maid: "Mum, don't get me wrong! You treat me very well. But I hate to clean-up the HS!"
  13. Case Study of a home facing a traffic junction 1. Feng Shui or Earth Luck is just 33.33% of the Total Chinese Luck System. 2. Human/Man luck also accounts for another 33.33%. 3. If one were to live in a home where there are sudden metal crunching sounds coming from the junction or screeching sounds or even an unfortunate accident at it's traffic crossing and or leading even to death... this can equally affect a person's Human/Man luck for this home. 4. Therefore, one shouldn't just think of Feng Shui or Earth Luck. 5. The other luck has more to do with born with or Heaven's Luck. Okay, want to find out more:-
  14. You wrote “2. Once the main door is opened, it is directly pointing to the kitchen. Should be no way to build a wall to obstruct the direct to kitchen from main door.” 1. For brand new HDB flats that share this, it is practical or possible to change the door position: 2. But for some past Design and Build Public Flats in Toa Payoh, Boon Keng and many other areas or ECs to condos.. it is not practical or rather costly. 3. If one feels really uncomfortable with such a layout; then luckily, more than 91 percent of the time, there are other layouts to choose from! 4. From a common sense approach also, a kitchen and yard is not like a showroom. First impressions count.. when a visitor gets to see this area, first. Instead of a view of the living room. Tell me, no matter how messy one’s home is, the living room area is still much neater, right? This is the basis of common sense.
  15. "I was just killed in an accident at this traffic junction. And I refuse to go through the light.. not just, yet! Trying to seek revenge at a near-by home! Most convenient is that unit facing this traffic junction where I suffered a fatality!."
  16. Under Shapes and Forms Feng Shui, your layout plan makes sense.
  17. Case Study 16: What’s in a name like Forett? 1. Okay, a few times when I typed Forett, my iPhone changed it to “Forest”. Not because the word refers to greenery, but because it failed to detect a proper English word! 2. No results found for forett. 3. Recently one kind forum user explained that another development: Tedge is not associated with it’s actual properties... but that this developer chose it because it is at “The edge of Telok Kurau estate!” 4. HELP! Any kind souls know the real significance of the word: FORETT? 5. I was like thinking of For rent? For Rat? Forget? 6. Okay, found two references to FORETT... Okay, I get it. Not any English word but rather a French term.. LOL AS MENTIONED BY THE DEVELOPER:- ⁂The Inspiration behind the Name ⁂ As the property is close to Bukit Timah Reserve, there was a natural leaning towards a name that captures the geography and greenery Le Foret is French for forest and that was our inspiration. We added a touch of Singaporean practicaliy, especially for pronunciation purposes. We dropped the le and added an extra’t’ so the name Forett with the tt as a nod to Toh Tuck. In summary, Foret tips tis hat to the lush greenery nearby, reads phonetically and rolls of the tongue easily. As an alternative to Forett, we considered Forett at Bukit Timah which offers a direct association of forest/nature to Bukit T
  18. Case Study: Block 37 Prive EC and traffic junction 1. Several years ago, a client bought a re-sale flat at Prive EC. 2. It is an equally high floor unit. 3. The most distinct feature of his unit he told me was that often he can hear screeching sounds of heavy braking at this traffic junction. Frankly such things sounds unsettling for newbies. Maybe after a while.. get used to such things. 4. Based on Common sense, this also can also add to stigma associated with a home facing a traffic junction. 5. In fact, it seems that the Waterwoods stack/unit mentioned earlier is slightly deeper in than this stack/unit at Block 35 Prive. 6. Higher up at around 1 O'clock of Waterwoods is HDB The Nautilus @ Punggol. With stacks/units circled in red also facing a traffic junction... 7. As I mentioned earlier, if in doubt, of No. 1 - unit facing a junction, look elsewhere. P.S. In fact, the Prive EC is a good example of a full cross junction when compared to Westwoods. While The Nautilus towards/along the Bright Hall Evergreen Home is not that busy road.
  19. 1. For 1. - If in doubt look elsewhere. Given that yourself and like many others are concerned, here. And often it has to do with malignant forces at traffic junctions. Or rather the concern that traffic junctions may not be so “clean”. 1.1. There is a higher probability of death occurring at a traffic junction. Because of this, sometimes it is said that a spirit that dies in a horrible way may linger around the area. 1.2. Hopefully, it does not venture further or into nearby home. Thus this is for those who choose or not choose to believe in such things. 2. For 2. - Majority of the time, this is not an issue. But it may stack up if the house is highly unsuitable to the breadwinner and if there are usually two or more "major" wealth leaks. 3. It also depends on factors like a Habit 1: Feng Shui Triage, Habit 3: Maximising Marks and more...
  20. Question: Hi Master, my query is just quick only regarding the landing of the stairs. Should it be oro or plata also? But the end top stairs is oro.. 1. The reason we want users to post question in the forum, is that most often than not, such advise questions may be asked many times, so it beneficial for others users once we answer it one time. 2. As far as Feng Shui is concerned, auspicious number of steps are as follows, or which you can see from this link:- 1,2, 5, 10, 13, 14, 17, 22, 25, 26 etc... URL: https://www.geomancy.net/forums/topic/10754-auspicious-number-of-steps/ 3. As for the non-feng shui Oro Plata Mata concept, based on the chant (Gold, Silver, Death). If you match the the sequence, the Mata step is always inauspicious under the feng shui. But as for the Oro or Plata one, it is not necessary all Oro or Plata one is auspicious. Hence, using the feng shui guide in para 2 is a bit less ambigious for this. Which you can see from this example, which I combined the two concepts, for example:- 1 oro - Auspicious 2 plata - Auspicious 3 mata - Inauspicious 4 oro - Inauspicious 5 plata - Auspicious 6 mata - Inauspicious 7 oro - Inauspicious 8 plata - Inauspicious 9 mata - Inauspicious 10 oro - Auspicious 11 plara - Inauspicious 12 mata - Inauspicious 13 oro - Inauspicious 14 plata - Auspicious 15 mata - Inauspicious 16 oro - Inauspicious 17 plata - Auspicious 18 mata - Inauspicious 19 oro - Inauspicious 20 plata - Inauspicious 21 mata - Inauspicious 22 oro - Auspicious 23 plata - Inauspicious 24 mata - Inauspicious 25 oro - Auspicious 26 plata - Inauspicious
  21. Case Study 15: What is Forett's overall Feng Shui score? 1. Location, location, location = 4.5 stars out of 5 2. This paranomic photo gives a good idea of the plot of land and it's surroundings: Source and Credit ERA Briefing Notes as found in the slide. 3. The first impression of this plot is the relationship between (the cruel) but beatiful relation of ancient Chinese women bounding their feet to fit into small shoes. 3.1. I totally agree with you that perhaps this may be the wrong description. But, sincerely, I meant it as a compliment to the unique shape. 3.1.1. Apologies, but this may be a turn-off for some. Hear goes:- 3.1.2 As I cannot help but see some similarities of one of the photos with the outline of the Forett plot. 3.2. Okay, I get you. The 2nd thing that came to my mind was the beautiful toddlers and their shoes.. This description sounds better right? 3.3. Thus this accounts for a high score of 4.5 stars for Location (L) x 3. 4. In my opinion, the developer made a good effort to squeeze all the blocks/stacks despite it's odd shape:- Site Plan = 3.5 Stars 5. Feng Shui does not take into consideration that this is a Freehold site. But to the buyer.. it does. LOL Related: Nearby development https://www.geomancy.net/forums/topic/16555-daintree-residence-at-toh-tuck-road-by-sp-septia-scores-poorly-in-external-shapes-forms-feng-shui-ouch/?tab=comments#comment-36220
