  1. 1. It is good that the storm drain is fully covered; this is a plus point. 2. If u can draw a sketch of the plots + outline of your home in relation to the front door: so that one can have a better understanding. 3. The frontage may or may not be "west". Could be? 4. In my opinion; usually if one face problems (if any) is due most likely to have 3 or more MAJOR "leaks". 5. Thus there are some (East group) who still can stay in a "west" home without any issues.
  2. 1. There are some who seek help to remove their mole. 2. The reason for their removal can range from (personal- psycological) needs; as some felt that certain moles may not look nice on themselves. 3. Thus the most common are those that seek help to remove mole(s) especially larger (bulging) ones from their face. 4. There is no empirical study by anyone to say that it is beneficial or not other than at least one may "feel good" factor after removing them (if any). Since there is no real study to say for sure: so your guess is good as anyone's else. 5. As mentioned previously, especially those moles that are bulging often also may grow hair; and these can be considered as some kind of "tumor" beign or not; thus cannot simply be transplanted. As blood still flows to them. Thus one traditional method was to use one's own hair and tie a knot to "suffocate" it until it simply drops off.
  3. The premise is that the mole is no longer there; there in no longer any significance. Don't try this yourself. Some moles can easily be removed; by plucking one's own (head) hair and then tie the mole in a knot. And often after a few days; the mole will fall-off by itself. And later on leaves littke or no marks (scars) at all.
  4. Usually, tables are "reserved" with relatively cheap packet of tissue paper ( 20 cents). But sometimes, especially on potential rainy days; another useful tool? Umbrellas of course!
  5. 1. Please see the two photos. 2. In the two photos; one can see that the area in-front of the entrance is generally bright. 3. Thus, if say the owners frequently opens the main entrance door and often, it is airy and (windy). There is a possibility or rather, higher chance of saying that maybe; one could consider the main door as the frontage, here. 4. Contrast this with the earlier photos in the first posting; where the area outside the maindoor is dim and dark even during the daylight hours.
  6. Be careful of neighour's pole(s) aimed towards one's main entrance door
  7. Ref: http://fountain.geomancy.net The photo shows a politically correct or in theory a typical "Feng Shui" type of water feature. In the first photo, it shows clearly that the water feature lacks plants = wood element.
  8. From: Leon xxx To: "support@geomancy.net" Subject: Thanks for all your help! Thread-Topic: Thanks for all your help! Date: Wed, 6 Nov 2013 08:15:26 +0000 Dear Master Cecil Lee, Thanks to your help and guidance since our first consultation in 2009, I have had a number of promotions and career advancements. The company has put me in to a new office on the 6th floor ofxxx building ? former Singaporexxx (xxxx Centre). Attached is a picture of my office, with windows all behind my desk. I was thinking of covering the windows with a large painting of a mountain. But the art gallery is asking all kinds of questions ? one mountain or many mountains? What colour? Got snow on top? Waterfalls allowed? How about lake in front of mountains? Etc. etc. Was just wondering if you have any advice for me? I hope my details are still on your system, but my birth date isxx August 1970. My address that you helped consult for was xxxx terrace, Singapore xxx150. Thanks! Leon XXXXX Executive Vice President XXXXSingapore For privacy: masked withxxxxx
  9. The existing bamboo pole holders embedded into the external walls of many old HDB flats are danger as they collect water = mosquito breeding. However, these metallic protrusions can be considered as functional yet very ugly / unsightly.
  10. Spotted: A figurine at the Food court in Ion Orchard. An elderly scholar (book). He is enjoying a cup of tea.
  11. Under symbolism in Feng Shui; the two attachments showing a queen sized bed each; has a "split" exactly in the middle of the bed-head. Here, this is considered inauspicious as the split is "exactly" in the middle of the bed. This is considered as similar to joining two single beds into a full queen sized bed = inauspicious.
  12. Poison arrows: Neghbour's bamboo poles (hanging clothes) aimed towards a home's main entrance.
  13. It is difficult to figure out the layout from your description. Under symbolism in Feng Shui; ideally, best not to see the STEPs (leading up/down) directly facing the main entrance door.
  14. A Chinese belief that the cacti can protect the home...
  15. A red (Ikea) table lamp; to cure #3 = quarrels, conflicts & legal entanglements
  16. There are several taboos relating to the king/queen sized beds:- 1. If possible, try to buy a single piece of bed. And not join two singles to form a queen sized bed. 2. Please take a look at the two photos in the attachment. 2.1. Generally, Model A with distinctive horizontal designs on the bed-head frame is suppose to be OK. But, because; as the sewing was done exactly at the middle (symbolise a split); this design then becomes less ideal. 2.2. Thus, Model B's bed-head design in the above case, is favoured over Model A's.
  17. A. For an apartment; there are often two common possible frontage: 1. Standing inside the main entrance door looking outwards or 2. Finding the location where there are most openings such as windows and balconies if any. B. In this sample illustration; notice that the passageway leading to a unit's main door is dim (dark) = yin. If so, most likely, this may not be the frontage of the apartment. C. Applying Flying Star Feng Shui is about locating the most yang qi (most openings and bright area e.g. natural lighting that filters into a home).
  18. You should be looking at your core job function. It is "nice-to" work in an industry that suits you. (If possible. Thus it is considered "nice-to" and not a must do). In general; although a career in fire is good for those with strong metal element. Not all can take it. For example; you have to examine your own personality. There are quite a lot of accountants who prefer desk-bound jobs. And are less keen in direct interactions such as those in sales or even marketing. Some strong metal persons; may find jobs relating to Water more "peaceful" and enriching. As water helps to "cool" down a strong metal person. VS fire to melt it (the strong metal person) which for some is like a cattle about to explode ..... You check your personality traits as I believe not all are suited to be in sales (marketing) line. Erh.. don't force yourself even if in theory; you are told to do so.
  19. Opps! Even for a castle, if the King always enter from the same entrance; this does not automatically makes it the "facing direction"
  20. Burning offerings to (loved ones) is a common occurrence and belief for some Chinese.
