  1. Isn't burning joss incense a form of air-pollution? Once upon a time, many of us were concerned with secondary smoke aka air-pollution causing lung cancer. Today, this report even have an added "nuisance" that it may also reduces intelligence....
  2. 1. The Tower block design and site plan layout received a perfect score of 5/5 stars, particularly for the significant distance between most of the blocks. 2. The location received a fair rating of 3/5 stars, not exceptional. Districts 10 and 15 are known for receiving high marks. 3. Districts 10 and 15 have the highest concentrations of Singapore's present and former Presidents, Cabinet Ministers, Ministers, Permanent Secretaries, CEOs/CFOs of various corporations, and other prominent figures. 3.1. Another popular area for such individuals is around Serangoon Gardens and Seletar Hills. 4. In the event of a war, it would be strategic for enemies to target these three districts. Surrender may be the quickest option, provided these influential individuals do not flee to Japan, New Zealand, Switzerland, or elsewhere.
  3. Whenever there is a supply for these triangle plots; there will always be a demand by retailers. Sometimes, because of such irregular plots; some landlords can even give a better rental rate. Rental is one of the two major fixed costs for a retail outlet. Small Businesses are better to survive with lower overheads. Then immediately killed by a hefty one...

  5. Ok we got u. When we finalise will seek your advice. Many thanks in advance.
  6. Case Study 2: I must qualify that majority of the time (unfortunately) the "retard" is actually the person holding the Smart-phone compass taking readings. If one applies certain (proper) techniques, one can still squeeze out a reasonable reading out of the Smart-phone compass. He's holding a Chinese Luopan... but his stance is incorrect! Part of the blame lies with the sensitivity of the Smart-phone compass. For example the interior of a building / lobby / unit has many re-bars. And these reinforced-steel bars often affect the compass readings not just of Smart-phone compasses but also many other compass. Overall, the main blame goes to the person taking the readings. The Adage of: "A bad workman blames their tools". Here, who then is the retard? Thus please don't laugh at the Smart-phone totally!
  7. Case Study 1: Is the smart-phone one is holding really a SMART compass? or a Retard? Don't be mistaken for "gigolo". This is GIGO. G.I.G.O. How can you be so sure like this recent case that your compass readings are correct? If one uses the Smart-phone compass? In this example, the readings taken by the client was 33 degrees. The actual reading is 20 degrees! A whopping 13 degrees variance! Think again, if one thinks that just because it is a smart phone; the readings, here ain't too smart. In fact, a Casio compass watch readings (although) this watch is not a smart phone... can even beat the retarded smart-phone's compass anytime, anywhere. Here, the client's compass readings were off. And thought that the unit is not a North-South unit. As she suspected the Agent was only trying to get her to buy the unit. In fact, I collaborated to her that the Agent was actually correct as the unit was in-fact a North-South unit. Here, just because one has a powerful Smart-phone. Actually, that Smart-phone is prone to wrong compass readings. Continued... in Case Study 2...
  8. These are some considerations: 1. Frankly, what you wrote does not match each other. This is because "2,9,5, 7,4,9, 9,2,7" does not match a P8 N1 house. 1.1. A P8 N1 chart numbers looks like this:- 1.2 The saying: "A miss is as good as a mile" = A miss is as bad as a wide miss. And yes, both are misses. 2. The numbers you mentioned belongs instead to a N2 / N3 chart: 2.1. In addition, I am not sure if your compass readings are really correct also? 2.2. No offence but this common I.T. term: G.I.G.O. = Garbage In, Garbage Out. Simply garbage readings lead to garbage results. 3. You also wrote: "Is this a good house to stay? Or there are ways to rectify the bad stars?" 3.1 Here's a valid reply to your question: https://www.geomancy.net/wiki/Feng_Shui_Triage 3.2 Your question very much sounds like this:- 3.1 The rationale for a Triage? Shapes and Forms accounts for a whopping 70%. And the Compass School: Eight House and the wrong either the mixed-up of P8N1 or "2,9,5, 7,4,9, 9,2,7" accounts for only 30% of the total luck of a house.

  10. The other day, I caught a first glimpse of the artist's sketch. It was truly delightful to observe the distinct tower blocks and the block layouts. The developer's architects have done an exceptional job in positioning most blocks according to the site plan. It's a classic layout that brings a sense of familiarity and comfort. This results in a visually pleasing and cohesive appearance. A true reflection of the typical 1970's design philosophy... The traditional approach always involves a North-South orientation of the stacks within each block. This detail is often highlighted by many Agents as an added advantage in their unit listings. With uniform blocks, parallel arrangements, and individual tower blocks, each with a consistent Qi flow, the overall design is excellent! It is a better layout than the previous pre-enbloc arrangement.
  11. Ok!! Thank you sooooooo much Cecil for you valuable advice!! Really really appreciate it!! Have a wonderful Sunday and a great week ahead!!!

  13. Case Study 15A: A recent development is the use of the Pneumatic Waste Collection System (PWCS) in some developments: ECs/condos and even some new HDB BTOs. 1. In my opinion, Hong Leong /CDL seems to be an early adopter of this Pneumatic Waste Collection System in many of their new developments. 1.1. For example, when The Venue (a CDL project) had just T.O.P. 1.2. This signage was displayed at the common bin. There are like Twelve (12) cautionary: what not to:- 1.2. There was a cautionary sign with lots of Don'ts. 1.3 A while back at The Criterion also by CDL. This notice (User guide) was displayed at the common bin area:- 1.4. Hopefully, the residents may come to terms to avoid doing all these... 1.5. If managed properly, one can understand the savings in terms of maintenance costs (if any)... and good for the daily Cleaners. 2. Presently not all other Developers follow this lead. Thus with the manual system, although there are occasional issues; but less so. Case Study 15B: Plight of residents of HDB Yuhua BTO which was installed also with the Pneumatic Waste Collection System (PWCS). 1. As expected. It takes just one or two inconsiderate residents to make a mess of this system... 2. Imagine 4 years and more of tolerance.... Source and Credit as shown in the two snapshot:- Extracts from the above article: 3. Persistent odour 3.1. Foul smell exuding from the centralised bin centre at Blk 223A of Jurong East Street 21 has been a persistent problem in Yuhua since the PWCS started. 3.2. According to a recent report from the Chinese evening newspaper Lianhe Wanbao, residents have been bearing with the smelly environment for the past four years. 3.3. Some residents also revealed that some people throw bulky items such as large soft toys, cardboards and mattresses, which choke up the pipe network. 3.4. This worsens the foul smell in the area and the cleaners will have to manually take the items out. 3.5. The adoption of technology is laudable, but the success of this new system also depends on the users to be mindful of what they disposed of. 4. Every development with a Pneumatic PWCS most certainly has a headache...Be it a high end estate or public housing... Reflections at Keppel with a high percentage of PRs and expatriates... 19. Foo Chow Methodist Church & it’s history Location: Race Course Road +++ Thereafter, the congregation relocated to the Anglo-Chinese School along Coleman Street and again to the Tamil Methodist Church at Short Street, before ending up at a gospel hall along Queen Street in the earty 1930s, where they were taught to read and sing. By 1936, the pressing need for a proper church of their own led Reverend Dr Chen Su Lan, a lay preacher, and other church members to raise the funds to purchase a house along Race Course Road for use as a church. When works were completed in 1938, an architecturally unique building was added to the district, featuring columns designed in the classical style with high vents and round windows. The church was damaged during World War II when a shell exploded on the north-western corner of the building. In 1947, during the repairs to the church, its front was completely rebuilt. In 1950, the back of the church was rebuilt to match its front, in 1994, the church extended its premises by building a link to an adjoining three-storey block, which it acquired in 1987 to start its Christian Education Centre. Today the church runs a kindergarten, as wel as various social welfare programmes. Foochow Methodist Church, c. 1977 Courtesy of Foochow Methodist Church

  21. Kandang Kerbau Market History. Today it is renamed Tekka Market Tekka Market, also known as Kandang Kerbau Market, was built in 1915 and became a well-known marketplace for fresh cut meat. The name, Kandang Kerbau, made reference to the surrounding cattle trade and means "buffalo enclosure" in Malay. The Chinese called it tek kah because of the wild bamboo found in the area. The original market was located across Serangoon Road, opposite the present site. Tekka Market was popular amongst all communities and known as the "people's market". It gained a reputation for its varied and reasonably priced fresh vegetables, meat and seafood. During the redevelopment of ".e Serangoon area in the early 1980s, the market was demolished and most stalholders were relocated to the present site, which was renamed as Zhujiao Market, a Chinese transliteration of "Tekka". In 2000, the market was renamed Tekka Centre to better reflect the history of the place after public feedback that Zhujiao bore little resemblance to its former name. In the past, many Singaporeans were also born at the nearby Kandang Kerbau Hospital. TODAY, it is the HQ of LTA.
  22. False sense of security...as the rider only secured the front wheel. Someone could easily unbolt the front wheel, leave it intact and cart away the rest of the bicycle. Imagine if this is a high end bicycle.
