Sophia Hills is under construction. In 1965, this plot of land housed Methodist Girls school until the mid 1980’s: From mid-1995, the premises house John Wesley Centre until it was demolished in the 2000’s:- Today (2018) The plot is now Sophia Hills:- P.S. Today, John Wesley Centre (a Church) is now in Bukit Timah, on 496 Upper Bukit Timah Road. For info it is also Methodist (Church). In the future, residents there can say that their homes are on Holy grounds! Not bad for resale marketing.. should one try to exit (sell) this place in the near future..

In Singapore and many other countries lots of geomancers are not applying Ba Zi Feng Shui. Unfortunately, even professional Feng Shui companies don't make it an effort to do so. Although there are lots more effort both to chart, analyse and produce... tell your geomancer please don't cut corners, please! This step is crucial in fine-tuning a home's Feng Shui:-

These are some considerations:- 1. Feng Shui in this instance is more of an art. 2. Personally I feel that it is enough ie. your steel security door. 3. However, under Para 1; if you seek advice from a conservative geomancer and many others then they may say no. As to them, this is standard practice without fine-tuning. 4. Anyway, Metal cures such as a wind chime, is still no issue if you want to place it. There are situations in Feng Shui where no noise is to be made. Then, avoid placing one at a specific location. P.S. Ideally it should be a six hollow rod wind chime.

Case Study: What does it mean when I have 56% of Earth in my ba zi chart? 1. Traditonally, when a baby is born, the parents or even grand parents would eagerly visit a geomancer to get the child's name selected. 2. The Geomancer would use this chart as a reference guide to propose names for the child. And use the Traditional Big-five characters and strokes to determine a name. 3. Thus the name should avoid characters with the Earth element. As this chart is weak in water, wood and metal; find a name that can balance this chart. Thus the name could have water and wood element in it to boost the missing elements. 4. The chart shows the Five Elements and associated organs of the body:- 4.1 The person is considered to have too much earth element. Thus in general, he has to be extra careful of digestive tract such as stomach and intestines.

Case Study: Can I go into business for myself? This is a partial extract of a Ba Zi chart which has a potential for the individual to go into business for himself:- To do so, one can check one's Ten Deities & Key Characteristics chart:- Generally, if these five factors have >2 or more numbers, the better. In this case, he has:- 1. Authority = 5 2. Competitor = 3 3. Unexpected Wealth = 2 4. Determination = 3 5. Unexpected Funds = 3 1. Authority means that the person has leadership skills and "strong willed". 2. Competitor or Competition means tries to be at his/her best. Or want to be 1st 2nd or 3rd in anything they want to do. 3. Unexpected Wealth not necessary always means lottery luck but also can be bonus or promotion or profit luck. 4. Determination simply means what it says. The higher the number means perserverance or "never give up attitude". 5. Unexpected Funds means have help from relative or possible inheritance and hidden skills or talents.

Part 3 - It is good that the common rubbish bins (two: common and recycle) are located at the lift lobby area. This is the typical placement adopted by many HDB flat designs in the past. Here, when standing at the main door looking out; no units will see the rubbish bin lobby nor actual rubbish bins. -

Part 2 - As far back as 1966 till 1984, the plot where HDB Teck Whye View will be built was on the former BUKIT Panjang Veterinary Centre a dispensary. Back then, this plot of land was next to the railway crossing. And at times, vehicles have to wait patiently for the trains to pass through before; the gates are re-openedened -
HDB Woodlands Glade launched in February 2018
Cecil Lee replied to Cecil Lee's topic in Singapore Property Review
Part 3 - Feng Shui and Flying Stars of HDB Woodlands Glade NW3 facing stacks are = 500, 512, 514, 516, 518, 530, 532, 536, 538, 540, 542, 566, 568, 548, 550, 552, 554, 580, 582, 570 and 572 These stacks can benefit with clear space at it's frontage as it has the auspicious water wealth #8 at this sector. As the development is in three rows; there is sufficent clear space between one flat to another. Thus, in a sense, clear space can be generally considered as providing open space, bright hall and this is a plus. Even if no water is placed, here. Another consideration is taht good if the balcony/living room faces a pool of water. If not can consider placing a water feature at the balcony to activate it. Other than this, the rest of the sectors on this home has inbalances. If the master bedroom or a bedroom is located at West sector of the home: be careful of frequent sickness. All the NW facing stacks/units will have indirect afternoon sun at an angle all year round. These stacks in generally appeal more under Feng Shui to a West Group breadwinner. SE 3 facing stacks = 502, 504, 506, 508, 510, 520, 522, 524, 526, 528, 544, 546, 564, 560, 562, 556, 558, 576 and 576. Under Compass School of Feng Shui appeals more to an East group person. Virtually no afternoon sun other than stacks 564, 528 and 510 where if the master bedroom wall is not thick enough can or may soak in afternoon heat and ooze out during the night. A plus is that this layout benefits with the main entrance at the NW side of the home. Otherwise, the rest of the stars in other sectors are inauspicious. And may need to be disarmed. -

Woodlands Glade Sales Brochure: Site Plan and Floor Plans woodlands-glade.pdf Part 2 - Case study of HDB Woodlands Glade precinct pavilion 1. It is good that the planners have given a thought in that they placed the precinct pavilion together with the existing utility. 2. Thus only stack 500 directly faces the pavilion.
