  1. Case Study 3:  The Art of Name Calling: In the world of commerce, we have: A General Manager or a Managing Director? What about Feng Shui?

    The Art of Name Calling:

Commercial = A General Manager or a Managing Director?

Feng Shui? = Many Geomancers today are self-proclaiming also to be a GM = Grand Master/Mistress to satisfy their ego pangs...

  2. Interlude:

As you can see, the various Cases studies comes from my personal experience. And does not involve a person's ba zi or the interior layout of the unit etc....

I know it is natural for some persons who will post.. things like how about my block and unit no.

Appreciate your kind understanding and Read this before posting something similar. Don't blame me if your question goes into a "blackhole"....

This is beyond the scope of this forum.

This is because a full review takes many man (at least 5 hours) each individual case:

    And this is the process:

  3. Part 7: Case Study 4 - Sha Qi and The Luxurie-La Fiesta condos with The Tapestry

    1. La Fiesta is at the top half of the screen. And The Luxurie bottom half:

    5aab03f315ebd_TheLuxuriewithLaFiesta.png.51aff79ccaf1439bfa059c2ef586dded.png

    2. The Luxurie was developed earlier. And the outlines of the blocks were visible before or during the sale of La Fiesta.

    3. Doesn't this look erie similar to some stacks in The Tapestry. Particularly Block 57 stacks 27 and 28

    5aab04c7f3a9c_Shaqi.png.2ce36560c9e327363dcc076c5e63399d.png

    These are potential Sha qi.

In addition, block 55 stack #23 may have another variation of of Sha Qi: that of sharp corners of neighbouring Block 51 stack #11's sharp corners aimed towards stack #23. Again, best to go on-site to "feel" the threat if any.

Another development known as Daintree Residence has its fair share of Sha Qi and poison arrows. There are the TYPE 1 and TYPE 2 kind. As illustrated under this link:-

  4. Part 6: Case Study 4 - Shapes and Forms and how good is the flow of qi (chi) in The Tapestry

    1. I have just done a rough "spray painting" onto the site plan:-

Shapes and Forms n flow of qi.png

    2. Do note that it is to give us a feel or a rough visualisation and an idea.

    3. In my opinion, I give this development TOP MARKS for overall flow of qi for all blocks in this development.

3.1. The first thing that comes into my mind is the Foresque Residences in Bukit Panjang.

3.2 That of overall good qi flow for all blocks. If one has the time, do read the making of Foresque Residences:

    4. This is because in many other developments. It is more like a "bell-curve" where some stacks/units get more even qi flow then some.

    5. However especially Block 55 with stack #23 and Block 59 with stacks #27 and #29. Why did you mention these blocks?

    6. These blocks are in the open channels. What I mean is that Block 51 acts like a funnel to channel more air towards this "exposed" block stack #23.

    7. No doubt that Block 55 stack #23 has one of the best commanding views. However, it is subjected to the "mercy" of the elements.

    8. If wind flow around the block is gentle and "smooth" flowing.. then the occupants can enjoy fantastic luck.

    9. Here goes the bad news.. when there is strong or fierce winds .. and for example: if one stands at the balcony or living room.. can feel strong breeze; then brace for poor luck!

    10. For salaried workers.. may even affect the male breadwinner's career. Or for that matter a female (head) breadwinner.

    11. For business person.. may affect his/her business luck!

    12. Thus.. look like it as a YoYo. Some ways to reduce this is perhaps to install external blinds or "zip track type of external blinds." And cross-fingers.. during windy days.

    13. Overall, I would be more concerned with a unit at stack #23. Less so for #27  and #29. This is because literally stack 23 can from my earlier explanation of Para 8 onwards : "STICKS OUT LIKE A SORE THUMB" erh good (Para 7) or bad (Paras 8 onwards).

Others: Before rushing to buy these stacks..or had done so already.. pepare to sit down, first! I will share some concerns related to Sha qi or poison arrows associated with them facing another block 51 or 63 in this block arrangement!

  5. Part 5: Case Study 3 - Flying Star Fei Xing Compass Readings

    1. The initial compass readings from the Sales brochure shows that this development has three (3) Flying Star Fei Xing directions:  NE1, SW1 or SE1 facing directions.

    THE TAPESTRY FLYING STARS 1.png

    2. NE1: The auspicious water wealth #8 star is located at the front of the property. Therefore, units with a water position at the front (balcony side) can benefit from favorable Feng Shui. For instance, Block 53, specifically stacks #53 and #54, align with this direction. Additionally, stacks #01 and #02 also meet this criterion.

2.1. Overall, do not be discouraged if your unit or stack is not included in my examples. The next best option consists of units or stacks that have unobstructed space. Consider this as the second best alternative.

2.2. The reason many geomancers advocate for having a unit that faces a water position is that it is beneficial to place a water feature on one's balcony.

2.3. To be frank, this notion is largely based on common sense, particularly in the case of a swimming pool.

2.4. The reasoning is straightforward. If there is a pool of water, it indicates that nothing can be constructed above this body of water, correct?

2.5. Consequently, if a unit faces this pool, it suggests an unobstructed view of the pool, its service walkway, and the landscaping (at the very least). This is advantageous, right? (Although some may not appreciate the noise from pool activities, this is not a permanent issue, as such activities cannot continue 24/7.)

2.6. If this condition is met (the majority of units in this development fulfill this requirement), the sum-of-ten can be activated for health, wealth, and family luck. If the unit does not face a water position, it is advisable to place a water feature in the balcony area to enhance luck. However, it is important to note that other sectors in such a home may have unfavorable stars that should be disarmed or neutralized.

2.7. For SW1 facing stacks, since the water wealth #8 is at the front, having water at the front is beneficial. It would be advantageous if the unit faces a pool of water or if a water feature is activated in the balcony area.

2.8. Overall, this allows the unit to activate the sum-of-ten. However, it is necessary to disarm some negative stars in various sectors of the home.

2.9. It is crucial to address health-related concerns for this facing direction.

    3. SE1. For SE1 facing units, ideally, the water position should be at the front. If this is the case, it is a double bonus, as SW1 benefits from the auspicious 10 combinations.

  6. Part 4: Case Study 2 - "Flags of the United Nations"

This is just a local pun or a playful "joke" referring to the display of (service yard) multi-colored shirts, shorts, trousers, bras, underwear, and so on...

For instance, if someone were to buy a unit in Block 55, stack 24; this unit offers a "birds-eye" perspective of the service yard area of Block 51, stacks 10 and 11.

    5aaa78b659fe4_ShapesandFormstheTapestry.thumb.png.897944deec16d363e053ca5fe7c03087.png

For some, this might seem trivial or even non-existent. However, there will always be those who find it inauspicious to look out from the balcony and see brooms and mobs hanging around...

Naturally, if someone is a skilled salesperson, they can spin this situation positively by highlighting that unit 24 offers a clear view with a pool directly in front of the balcony!

There are other units that face a similar situation. I won't focus on them... you understand the importance of considering this in your purchase.

It resembles the La Festa condo, with certain stacks facing the side or yard of The Luxurie condo:

     5aaa78b659fe4_ShapesandFormstheTapestry.thumb.png.897944deec16d363e053ca5fe7c03087.pngDC98B72C-9B4C-441A-9DA4-F43AF7824789.png

  7. Thank you for your request for a review!

As you can see, I have recently written several detailed reviews...

Part 3: Case Study 1: Spotting "RED FLAGS"

    1. Honestly, there are numerous factors to consider when thinking about the potential purchase of a brand new home.

1.1. Common sense indicates that the physical structure has not yet been constructed. Therefore, there are "hidden" issues to be aware of, such as a ground floor unit located near restrooms or a gourmet pavilion BBQ Grill, etc. The latter is important because if the pavilion is reserved by someone, the unit might end up smelling like the BBQ Grill... smoke and all.

1.2. In my view, in previous developments, many leftover units tend to be lower units overlooking the guardhouse, as well as units that face the afternoon sun.

1.3. So, when selecting a unit, also take a look at this legend and consider whether the items in the legend will have an impact on our potential new home.

    Please click to enlarge:

    5aaa75e348457_IDENTIFYINGREDFLAGSINTHETAPESTRY1.thumb.png.683d7f3623e3990db35c18b43b27b9da.png

1.4. This is a first: Pets Cabin.

1.4.1. Don't misunderstand me... I don't dislike dogs. This is etched into my permanent memory:

1.4.2. Many years ago, I received a call to conduct a Feng Shui audit at The Bayshore. (Around 1,000 units)

1.4.3. To summarize... the residents of that unit may have been walking on the garden grounds. Most likely, ticks or bugs from a dog had jumped onto a plant or grass.

1.4.4. I decided to catch a ride to this owner's home.

1.4.5. The thing is, they had a divan bed in their master bedroom. They rarely checked... or rather, not at all.

1.4.6. No sooner had they opened the storage space of this bed than they discovered an infestation of "ticks!".

    2. Moving on to another point:

2.1. Many geomancers suggest that it is highly advisable to have a clear space beneath a bed. Therefore, it is beneficial to have a bed with just four legs.

2.2. Many geomancers then use a "flowery" expression: "This is because, to them, qi or wind can circulate beneath the bed" TRUE...

2.3. In reality, a common-sense reason is that with four legs, the area beneath a bed can be easily accessed and cleaned!

    3. After considering the above, do you still wish to buy a ground floor unit... in this vicinity?

    4. The map also indicates a "Water tank".. another spot to be cautious about..

    5. Others:

5.1 Where is the main rubbish CENTRE? for this development? If there isn't one, where will the sanitation truck come to collect the waste for the entire development?

    6. I have not yet observed or focused on the interior layout of this development.

6.1 Therefore, if there is no internal rubbish bin; but instead a shared central bin or bins (some developments have a central bin plus an additional recycling bin - not all have a recycling option).

6.2 If that’s the case, be mindful of these!

6.3. Be cautious of the type and design of the club-house and/or pavilion, as well as the roof-lines, as they may pose potential issues if any.

    11. Small Talk:

Cecil: "I seem to struggle with Marketing concepts, especially when it comes to topics like CASH COWS." Cecil: "Whenever I hear about CASH COWS, it brings to mind the image of unethical geomancers trying to exploit their clients for profit."
Cecil: "I want to assure you that Geomancy.net has never sold any products since its inception."

He is not interested in the art of marketing or selling worthless commercial products in the name of Feng Shui. Now you are aware of his secret.

  9. Recent Photos of taken at the Japanese cemetery at Chuan Hoe Avenue

Contrary to popular belief; many cemeteries are/we’re on ausiplots of land. Even the Japanese knows this!

It becomes inauspicious when : if the land was seized for redevelopment and bones were not fully recovered or removed.

Sorry there are 20 photos.. so may take time to load up. Apologies!
