  1. 1. Le Quest has similar stacks such as the sample below that has the kitchen and stove at NW. 2. In Feng Shui, this is known as Fire at Heaven's gate. Considered inauspicious for the stove to be within the NW cardinal point. 3. For a male breadwinner, it is less than ideal to select a unit with the kitchen at NW sector. 4. Do a search in this forum for " Fire at Heaven's Gate ". 5. Generally, a kitchen especially if a stove is directly at the NW cardinal point will be inauspicious for the male-head of the house. Typically this can affect him. 6. This is because NW under the Ba Gua Trigram belongs to the Heaven (sign). And NW also represents the male-head elder of the house. 7. Thus in simple terms: turning on a stove at NW will burn one's Heaven luck = not lucky and also may affect the male-head elder's career. 8. If you have done so many review as I have, even in a ranking exercise; I can pick out stacks/units in my mind that has this concern. And flag it to the potential purchaser. 9. Thus for this development, I randomly picked Block 10 stack #33 at Le Quest. For example:- 10. Mind you, there are lots, lots more of similar stacks with kitchen at NW sector in HDB Ubi Grove = caveat emptor.. let the buyer beware!
  2. These are some considerations: 1. As you have mentioned; do expect many view points with regards to a project such as this. 2. Frankly, based on just looking at these three photos; and that you are already aware of the potential "some noise" from the SLOW traffic + the highway (and another road running below the causeway). 3. It is of my personal opinion that:- R & F Princess Cove U/C 3.1. The highway curves away from the development or the potential block/stack/unit that you are eyeing on. 3.2. And the stack/unit that you are looking is of high floor and South Facing; While majority the stacks in the two blocks the smaller and the larger block is more towards SE facing. 4. In fact, in equivalent Singapore, East Coast / Marine Parade "facing" = typically morning sun. And the side closer to UOB bank building does have also some afternoon sun. 5. Considering the unit you refer to: in my opinion is a can buy for this unit. My views may perhaps differ if asked to advice on another stack/unit.
  3. HDB Bishan North Square diamond design motif. This motif is considered an old school design.
  4. Mangosteens galore at Bishan North Shopping centre
  5. Photos taken today. Whilst visiting Admiralty Flora. Looks like Admiralty Grove is almost there...
  6. Just T.O.P. Interior walls are also using dry walls...
  7. Not me Lee Hai.. lah.. My clients seems to be in a lucky streak..hehehehe Majority got called up.. to pick one... Maybe they (the agents) should flower bathe.. leh... I just found out two more got their chosen units! Most likely goes to >88% success rate..hehehehe
  8. An unconventional cone shaped cork-screw or threaded screw design..
  9. For the Chinese, it is considered inauspicious to give a clock. And a clock facing a unit is like giving a clock to them. This implies "death" to whoever received a clock'
  10. Simei St 1 The 4 leaf clover and circle motifs
  11. Wow! My clients must have been lucky! Phew! 80 percent got their choice units some more-:)
  12. Question: "Hi , sorry for disturbing again. For the sleep over night, may I check from what time to what time should we be there? As i heard people said differently about what time to be considered sleep over" Reply: Can argue until the cows come home. There is really no right or wrong on this. The key is: "Sleep OVER-night one night" is considered as moved-in. What time to be there? Anytime before 2359HRS. Usually, what makes sense is spent an evening there. (and from there onwards till next morning). Really, no written "bible" on such things. More to common sense. Can ask a 1,000 people, and you may get a thousand answers. No right or wrong. Pure common sense.
  13. my parents applied a flat at Dakota Breeze, Thank you Mr Cecil again for your helpful analysis
  14. Under Shapes and Forms, as the building is squarish, the winds hitting the corners would result in more turbulence.. less than ideal. As this ilustration, below, shows in the blue dotted outlines:-
  15. Marina One Towers 21 and 23 For me, immediately that comes to mind are two L-shaped boots or a grown-man's moustache. In this illustration, from a Shapes and Forms Feng Shui point of view, although the largest stack/units = #08 has a nice number. It is unfortunately not the best stack given that it is at the edge of the building. Although it has stunning views, corner stacks which is literally at the edge of the development does not have optimum Shapes and Forms. Surprisingly, other than the whole "working" world may peer into these (Block 21) stacks, stacks like 09, 10, 11, 12, 13 & 14 are considered to have better Shapes and Forms. Even stacks 03, 04 and 05 also.

  17. Sample 4-bedroom layout type at Le Quest In Feng Shui symbolism, some geomancers advise against buying a unit where, upon opening the main door, you are immediately facing or “smashing” into a wall, as seen in this layout type. This idea is based on the belief that when someone enters the home, the qi should flow in smoothly, rather than being blocked by a wall right away. To more conservative practitioners or some older folks, this is considered unfavourable Feng Shui. Overall, it’s best to look at the home in a holistic way, as many different factors need to be considered. In my view, this feature alone is not a fatal flaw. For a home to truly have a serious issue, there are usually four or more “leaks” or problematic areas. 18. Take a look at this photo of Bellewaters. Not Le Quest. The recently T.O.P. Bellewaters. Although there is no horizontal sharp edges from the roof-line(s); instead the poison arrows are for example coming at a 45 degrees of the corners..
  19. It is mandatory for all HDB sitemaps to include a copy of the block plan. The reason for this is to clearly show what a buyer is actually purchasing. One of the first things many homeowners want to know is the location of the central rubbish bins. In HDB blocks, the bin area usually has both a normal area and a wet area with a water pipe. This is because sometimes the rubbish brought to the bins may have spilled liquids or other messy waste. If you look at this photo, you’ll see that in a condo, it is usually just a door covering the bin. There is no extra space for anyone to leave larger rubbish on the floor around the bins. If you are really unlucky and have a difficult neighbour or neighbours who often dump their rubbish on the floor in front of the bin, it’s not realistic for you to stand there waiting to catch them and confront them. That would only create bad blood, wouldn’t it?
  20. In addition, since this is a mixed development, try to check where is the roof-top air-con cooling towers (IF ANY). What is worst is to purchase a unit. And realise that one can hear the constant humming of the cooling fans. This may affect that surrounding Feng Shui. And also not exactly a "pleasant sight".
  21. This is often one of the first things I look at especially if someone is considering ground floor or 2nd storey units. Be careful of the roof-lines marked in red. As it can be a potential poison arrow(s) to either levels #01 or #2 This is the actual photo minus the red line markings :-
  22. When blocks/stacks are staggered. There is bound to be poison arrow(s) aimed towards a neighbouring block. Please look at the attached site plan. The red arrows shows potential poison arrows. For example block 8, stack 23 has the corner of it's master bedroom wall aimed towards neighbouring block 10 stack 31. Both stacks 12 and 24 also has a sharp corner aimed towards stack 23. How bad is this? If the sharp corner is aimed towards a unit's balcony.. much harder to cure. Given that most of the time this is where the living room is. And often many do open the balcony sliding doors whilst at home. A possibility is the use of external blinds / ziptrack or tall plant(s). If the sharp corner is aimed towards a unit's windows. Then much easier to cure. For example, install blind(s) or draw the day curtain all day round. Note: Period 9 Flying Stars should be considered given that it will be coming soon after It's T.O.P.
