  2. Further to what I had mentioned, unless you are living on the ground as in a landed property and if your front or main door is facing a straight road, then, really, don't need to imagine. It could or may just happen. But if your home is 14th storey and when standing at a balcony or a window or at the front corridor of your main entrance that is facing the road: this is a "false" alarm. As I had mentioned; the test is simple to the illustration or message found below, else, it is only in the "figment of your imagination". Unless, it may be possible that there is a highway that as high as your 14th storey and it is curving towards you ... another figment of?..... http://forum.geomancy.net/phpforum/article.php?bid=2&fid=1&mid=28422&new= Posted in: Discuss :: Free Advice (General Feng Shui) Posted on: Wed, 13 Oct 2010, 08:05 AM, Last Modified on Wed, 13 Oct 2010, 08:29 AM 1. Thanks for the excellent sketch! 2. The key concept behind a home at a "T-junction" is always the rare probability of a "run-away" vehicle travelling in a straight line. 2.1. Most of the time such a run away vehicle is often caused by either an intoxicated driver and rarely a case where the car cannot stop. 2.2. Thus, in past forum messages, I had mentioned; another critical consideration is which country is one in i.e. right hand or left hand drive. 2.3. Next, is we use some imagination to figure out whether a regular car travelling along it's proper land ploughs straight ahead. 2.4. In you illustration; it is good to know that under Para 2.3. the car would instead plough into the front wall of the home. As the opposite arrow is directly away from the main gate of the home. Thus, not so bad. 2.5. What is often worst is to travel a straight-line and meet the gate of the home and subsequently; 2.6. From your picture, it looks like there is a solid wall at the frontage. And hoepfully, this would be able to stop any runaway vehicle and contain it at it's tracks (hopefully). PLUS the HIGH GROUND is an additional good advantage. 3. The above is the chain of effects that lead to the main purpose of why it is (commonsense) to avoid a home at a "T-Junction". 4. Thus other plus factors include; the bigger the compound the better; where is the windows and main door located in relation to the "t-junction". 5. The other factor is sha qi or poison arrow. For example, again it depends on whether is this an estate access road or a busy road. And how long the straight path is towards the home. And even things like whether there is a hump to slow down cars on that road. These are some other factors to be considered. 6. In general, I am sure, some of us have seen worst homes at a "t-junction" than what you had sketched out. Thus if properly "done" and if there are no other homes to consider; then this one is (not the best) but neither is it at the bottom list of a so called home at a "t-junction".
  3. Feng Shui is also about common sense. In common sense Feng Shui, if your home or front door is directly facing a straight road ON THE GROUND LEVEL; there can bea remote possibility that one in a million chance, a car may plough into your front door. BUT, I really don't get you. You said your live on the 14th floor. And your front door is facing a long straight road. If I am mistaken, if I use your logic or rather NON-logic. If I were to stay in the same stack as your unit but at 40th storey; and if I say the same thing as you; does this seem logical? One has to be realistic. A car cannot move on a straight road and FLY INTO your unit. Therefore, my question to you is: " Are you talking about a flying car? A car that if it is out of control can fly into your main door?" In Singapore, even the majority of all HDB car parks are usually no taller then 7th storey. Nowadays, the top floor is reserved for landscaping. I strongly believe, that what you mentioned should be classified under this category called : The figment of one's imagination. As in Disney land as in just a dream....
  4. Please note the following:- 1. You can look at this resource which has a link to generate your personal element and use the colour and shape association to design your own logo. http://talk.geomancy.net 2.It is not true that one should not design a logo WITH circle. BUT, under symbolism in Geomancy, there may be some truth and half-truth in a logo within a circle. 2.1. Again, this has to do with symbolism in Geomancy. As often a circle is considered like a ship's porthole which symbolises sinking feeling or some say a circle symbolises ZERO. 2.2. This has more to do with symbolism. 3. The saying "one man's meat is another man's poison". 4. For example, some say based on superstition that number 13 is inauspicious. While others say that 13 is OK while 14 is inauspicious etc... So, who do you listen to? 5. For example, some Chinese hate the number 4 which sounds like death in their dialect while I understand some Indians say 4 sounds like auspicious to them. So which is which or who you want to listen to? 6. Designing a name card is a new invention. Thus, if you want you could apply all the concepts such as auspicious measurement based on the Feng Shui Ruler etc.. or simply use standard name card blanks. 7. Frankly, name cards does not make or break a company. For example, even today, for companies like Kodak, or if one is in Kodak, getting a well designed name card that confirms to Feng Shui principles are of no use when one is in a sinking ship. 8. In my opinion, if one is also in Nokia, and wants to design a perfect so called Feng Shui conformity name card; I will say ... go and fly a kite! 9. In my opinion, Feng Shui even so called name card design is not a CURE all or an ENHANCER if any ...
  5. Yes, in my opinion, since there is a really defined RECTANGLE or SQUAREISH outline; The bedroom therefore sticks out like a sore-thumb. This is truly a classic case of "Ifanyone does not see it as a PROTUSION"; but rather think that there are missing corners; please take out a gun and shoot yourself in the feet. (You deserve it)
  6. Our education system is famous for rote learning and erh.. but nothing else... No wonder there are so few entrepreneurs in this City State....hmmmmmm Please don't regurgitate; I appeal to you to re-read but no avail...sigh? Smurfs have blue face... so whats wrong with the 2nd attachment and the full text under the 3rd attachment... Further to what I had mentioned, earlier. The reason why the ball on top of a pedestal was shown; is because it makes a good choice to illustrate the mechanics of the Five Element concept with a water fountain. that's all. Do take note that the way a ball rotates can symbolise wealth either coming into or going out of the home. For a rotating ball, even a tiny grain of sand or imperfection can change the rotation of the ball. I don't want to elaborate more about the ball with the spouting water.... go think about it ......
  7. Please note the following (CAREFULLY) 1. Although, my sample description show similar type of water feature. 2. It does not mean that one has to follow the Jones (copy-cat) the entire design. 3. I am emphaise; re-emphaise what I wrote early: SO LONG AS A WATER FEATURE HAS ALL THE FIVE ELEMENTS GOOD ENOUGH! 4. What you showed are text-book style Feng Shui water feature. 5. BUT, if you CARE to look at it carefully; both designs DO HAVE A FLAW! 6. The best way of illustrating the flaw is the 2nd attachment. 7. Just VISUALISE, think about... the base gets smaller and smaller. Don't you think that someone may get into serious injury e.g. a child if the water feature gets TOPPLED DOWN. Even if one does not have a child, such an object especially 2nd attachment seems dangerous. 8. I am not going to elaborate further on this. As, please, please or please RE-READ my previous message or messages. 9. What is the use of following the Jones or your neighbour? P.S. For FELLOW Singaporeans, please make sure that you bring a ruler and make sure that your dream fountain fits all the specifications mentioned in the attachment. FOR THE REST OF THE WORLD, Heck with the Singapore thing, go buy something you like! Cheers!
  8. In my opinion, often the "fear" is the reverse. Most good bank practises avoid being e.g. directly below an apartment building. In fact, if the bank does have safe boxes; there were instances in the past where the alarms were set off; until it became too much of a false alarm until during the weekend; someone tunnelled from the top floor into the safe vault of the bank branch. Equally possible for a bank with commercial building above. Otherwise, tell me, what is so negative about it? Unless it is a restaurant ... which is worse?
  9. You wrote: "but i read that by feng shui around the bed should be free space if we want attract love in our life," In a court of law, what you wrote above is considered "Hear say" and not admissable in a court of law and no less in Feng Shui. = For sure!
  10. In this part, if one litters, most like the consequence is getting one's hand CHOPPED. If one litter with right hand, the right hand will be chopped. Same goes for the left hand. Is this true? Looks like it? Right? EVEN a Karate School COPIES this logo!

  16. This letter box is of Thai (Thailand) origin...
  17. From the illustration, there are only two possible outcomes: YES or NO? And not leftside or even rightside?
  18. You wrote: "Hi, the tree is slightly leftside when infront of the door, however there are meduim size plants are directly infront. " >As I had mentioned previously, in order for the tree (TRUNK) to be considered as a poison arrow, it has to be (when standing inside the home and looking straight) outwards. And not such thing as to the leftside sort of thing. Is it or is it not? Futhermore, there is a difference between the trunk of a tree (and thickness and type of wood: hardwood or softwood) vs a pussy cat like medium sized plants. In my opinion, from what I guess, medium sized plants are no threat. Again, it is a tree trunk that is a threat. In case one might ask? What type of tree trunk is a threat? 1. Someone cycle and accidentaly hit the tree trunk. And the tree trunk don't move. The unfortunate person is flung away. 2. Or we often heard any car even an expensive car was sliced into two by a tree trunk or 3. The tree trunk stopped the car in it's track and most likely the head of the driver or passenger is bleeding... None of the above? You wrote "What can be suggested for a south house person to live in a SW/W house and improve living conditions and financial stability?" I write: Feng Shui Triage In life, if one has to do something...and be effective, there is no short-cuts. The only short-cut is to go to those Geomancers, that sell products. And they will automatically tell you where your many wealth sectors are. In this forum ... the maxim " NO PAIN, NO GAIN " holds true.
  19. In order for an object to be a poison arrow aimed towards e.g. a main door; try to confirm whether when you stand (directly) at the main door facing outwards; the tree is there. Often, or in many instances, a tree slightly to the right or left side of themain door.
  20. 1. Again, there is no right or wrong answers. 2. In my opinion, looking at your specific description of a CONSULTANT in so many fields: mgmt, marketing, websites, social media; 3. I tend to strongly FEEL that your role as a consultant in this scheme of things is more closely related to the WOOD element. 4. Since you mentioned FIRE, I only see one job function associated with it: marketing. 5. Thus, based on your short description; I would say your CORE element has to be WOOD element. Ref: http://talk.geomancy.net
  21. 1. This method is taught by some Geomancers to their aids or rather their work-hands. 2. Here, the concept is; better to get it close to the correct area than far from it. 3. In this instance, the Geomancer would often ask the novice work-hand to draw as many lines from one end or corner to another opposite side corner. 4. Where the most amount of lines that criss-crossed close-by; implies that the centrepoint is close-by. 5. In this sample example, lines drawn A to A; B to B and C to C seems to congregrate towards a small triangle (Highlighted in Yellow). 6. While there seems to be an ORPHAN line E to E which seems not to be on it's own. 7. Frankly, I don't quilte like this method. 8. As it does not seem to convince me of any common sense nor logic to the various other methods, that I had mentioned such as the area of the missing corners should often be close to the area of protusions in many of the worked samples in the past.
  22. In my opinon, One North has a typical layout plan. One good thing is that there are only one or two blocks that has a pointed edge or corner aimed towards another neighbouring block. There are also diverse number of facing directions of the various blocks. Here, one of which is that you could identify whether you (the major breadwinner or often even today;we consider the male breadwinner) are an East or West Group person. If you want to do more research, you can even key in or type in a simple term like " By ranking " using the top left most search field in this forum.
  23. 1. I very rarely apply what I called a combination of EYE-BALL method and using AN ELLIPSE outline to determine the centre of gravity. 2. I only apply this method, in such a situation as this layout plan. 3. I will firstly eye-ball roughly the centrepoint or what I perseve as the centrepoint. And using one or two or three trial and error, use the paint program to draw an ellipse covering all the BORDERLINE of the entire unit. 4. Once, done, and it looks fine, this should be the centrepoint or close to it. 5. For this layout, and using trial and error, to me, it was still quick. I managed to get or fine tune the ellipse only after just the 2nd time round. 6. Again, I am applying I perceive as login. If the entire layout borders are enclosed even with lots of odd missing area; the oval shape encasement of all the borders and finally drawing the centrepoint of the oval, should give a good perspective as to where roughly the centrepoint is. 7. In this case, this oval or ellipse method does share the same or close to the same centrepoint as what i had one in the earlier RED and PINK marking. Only slight deviation as to the exact centrepoint. Thus the margin of "error" can be minimal.
  24. These are some considerations: 1. You might want to consider the method of photocopying the layout and place it onto a cardboard and cut-out the outline... balance it onto a pin sort of thing. 2. In my opinion, based on a quick eye-ball method; 2.1. I have outlined two outlines: 2.1.1. IN RED 2.1.2. IN PINK 2.1.2. In both cases my estimate is that your centrepoint or centre of gravity should like somewhere close to the intersections outlined in either RED or PINK. Please see attachment
