Under the Compass of School of Feng Shui: the concept of Eight House can be used to check what is the best bed-head facing:- http://64.19.142.11/www.geomancy.net/reports/reports-list/reports-list.htm Favourable Sleep Position? Generating Sleep Position Report? Sleep Position Report Example Generate Now Often the above concept is considered as "nice-to" have and not a must-have. This is because we still need to consider the "Shapes and Forms" aspect of each bedroom. As most bedroom(s) may/could/would/should have a bedroom door and/or some ventilation windows and/or attached toilet. Thus, instinctively many of us already roughly have an idea of how we would like to p…

Sample of Three Coins tied with red string. Common advice: Place it in your wallet Further to those who are new to this forum:- In the past, I have posted the following information: 1. Use the 5 elements concept (Ref: http://www.geomancy.net/fs/5element.htm ) Under the destructive element: Example 1: If you are a strong metal person, in order for this person to create wealth, he `destroys' the element wood. If you are a strong wood person, by destroying `Earth' you create wealth If you are a strong earth person, by destroying `Water' you create weath etc... Under the above condition, you must be STRONG in order to destroy the element `in-front' t…

Dear Knight Elliot, Everyone has some form of personal intuition (often known as like Sixth Sense). Some people have very strong intuition, others have less. It is hard to tell you from a third party point of view, exactly whether the repeated 11 is it auspicious or not. Probably it sounds like a warning to me at this point. Usually, when a person is very close to you, when something happen, you just have some feeling about it. Quite natural. Sometimes, the best thing is not to be overly worried. When you think too much into anything, you only stress yourself out and add more worries. Especially, so when things just do seems to work out well for you. Unfortunately, we …

Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: Based on the free Personal Ba Zi/Feng Shui Element Report that I hv received from yr website, I hv noticed that my Kua no.is 4 and wood element. Like it mentioned, Kua is 4 and the element of the Kua is Wood element. However, since Kua is based only on the YEAR of birth it does not give the most accurate breakdown of your birth element. Just like if one is born in 2006 (Earth Dog), if you based on the ba zi from the YEAR of birth then you are a Earth element. These is correct, but not the most accurate form of your true element. Depending on which day you are born, you can be a weak water/strong fire etc born in the Earth dog year. So that mo…

1. Many people are in your situation where they had purchased a home and started to "fiddle" with Feng Shui and Oops! this is bad or that is bad. 2. Most or many homes are fixed and based on the concepts that you had mentioned, they are meant more for those who have yet to build and trying to avoid such areas. Frankly there is no perfect home, and honestly there are relatively "no antidote" other than Para 2. (Which often is not practical which means moving out of a home....)Thus, you have look at other options of maximizing qi from other areas of the home:- http://wiki.geomancy.net/wiki/The_Concept_of_Maximizing_Marks Quote: Steve J. wrote: Hello... Dear Deborah, 1. Apologies, the `dog' thing was meant to be a *JOKE* Glad that you have well trained (civic minded)dogs:)) 2. Frankly, there is no hard and fast rule on what makes a perfect garden. 3. Most of the time, in-fact, it is what you and your family feel comfortable with. 4. From your description, you garden sounds lovely. This is already a plus point. 5. The other `secret' ingredient to a successful (area) is the sight of birds. Birds, like us, do appreciate good location. Hopefully, they are not king fishers or fish eating ones (especially if one rears koi fishes:) 6. Don't worry, so long as one has a passion of gardening or simply admiring or making effort to …

Sorry, I am not sure if I got you correctly. But, as I mentioned earlier, the test is to stand inside the home e.g. at the main door : looking out of it or in the home looking out of the window. If one can directly see it "aimed" or "slicing" the window, then this is considered as a poison arrow. Otherwise, even if can see the pole but it is at the side of the window (not slicing the window in anyway, this is actually not a real threat. But rather can be called an illusional view - thus if this is the case, no issue).

These are some considerations: 1. House number report is actually Flying Star Feng Shui. 2. The common Flying Star Feng Shui or the 9 grids has to do with HORIZONTAL analysis. 3. While this House number is also Flying Star Feng Shui and has to do with VERTICAL analysis. 4. Usually, it is best used during a development launch where one can still have the pick of both stacks and individual level units. 5. Holistic Feng Shui: 5.1. For example, let's hope that a home's horizontal Feng Shui is good or acceptable. If the horizontal Feng Shui is not as good and there are major leaks; and the vertical House number or level is not so good; it is like the Titanic which would ultima…

Dear SL, No, it depends. This is the rationale, why, I suggested for a `proportinate' sketch or layout plan. Without a proper sketch, it is not easy to comment whether to superimpose a 9 grid or to assess it as an `L' shaped home. For an `L' shaped home even if we separate it into two rectangles; it may be quite trickly for some to find out what is the direction of the main entrance and whether to use to directions (different) grids for each rectangle or superimpose identical grids to both triangles. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Further to what I had mentioned, you check out a sample of how an indiviual's ba zi has been derived on their career perspectives. Under this attachment, go to Pages 39 to 41. In this example, this person is considered as a Strong Fire person. Thus he has specific careers relating to his "weath" or "power and authority" or careers that are so-so.

Dear Elkay, 1. I have `cut-paste' this message which was a recent reply under the forum topic: " Feng Shui for Business ". 2. Feng Shui cannot be seen as a `cure all'. If there are better `tools' or `concepts' e.g. methology in teaching, this would prevail over the use of "Feng Shui". And even give a quantum leap, where Feng Shui cannot fully achieve. It is the same as using specialised tool for a specific activity. For example, if we want to cut an apple in half, we use a knife instead of using another tool such as a screw driver or even a scissor to cut the apple. Thus, using the right tool for the right occassion is a much sensible idea than just simply using the wrong…

Dear Anon, Thank you for your clarification. In this case, the Flying Star House Number report analysis does not apply. The free Flying Star House Number report analysis is meant for analysing apartment/flats and not landed properties i.e. single / double detached / terrace houses or any other landed properties. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Kindly advise You can make use of this link to check if 5 sep 2007 is an auspicious or not:- URL: http://date.geomancy.net Generally, most people will avoid collecting key, intial opening of door, move-in, start of renovation during this 7th month. Dear Earl, Please see below:- 3. Nowadays, not many people can afford to make-to-measure furniture such as readily available tables (dining / living / study / work ) tops. 4. Again, many of us do not have the luxury of employing "an imperial carpenter" who in the past, have all the time to make-to-measure furniture. 5. Nowadays, frankly, it does not often matter if all or any of our common furniture need to be auspicious under the Feng Shui ruler or not. 6. However, for the Chinese, the most important furniture to look out is the altar (family altar or altar to place a god e.g. Goddness of Mercy etc..) Otherwise, it is less important issue especially if the fur…

In order to further improve the lottery luck; earth luck should also be looked into. Ba zi is about Heaven luck or luck from heaven. While Earth luck is the Feng Shui. Thus to improve on the chances of lottery luck this person should try to locate: the Mountain Star #8 and activate this current prosperity "lottery" luck at home.

This is under the category of "symbolism" in Feng Shui. And nice-not to have the WC sharing the same wall as the stove. In many of the write-ups of uncompleted condo units: I have also noticed and highlighted that it is "nice-not-to" have the wc sharing the same wall as the stove especially if they are directly next-wall to each other.

Dear Sophia, In every development there are always units that are either suitable to the breadwinner or may have good Flying Star Feng Shui. Recently, a client bought a reasonably good unit with favourable Flying star Feng Shui i.e. the penthouse unit and also not affected by the afternoon sun. There are still several upper floors that have yet to be sold direclty by the developer. As usual, since no two units are identical, both Shapes and forms and compass school FS has to be applied. There are however, some units at ground level that has it's own P.E.S. (Personal enclosed space). Some of these units may have poison arrow in the form of either a pillar slicing thru …

Dear Anon, Please go thru the attached chart. This chart shows that person should preferably not register a business in his name especially if he intends to go into business in the year 2027. This is only a sample chart shows not only is the person's 10-year big luck is against the person but also overall luck as inauspicious period. With a weightage score of -22, -26, -24 as very inauspicious periods. These are the people who, where possible should not register a business under their name. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Frankly, if one has to apply proper authentic Feng Shui:- 1. Additional information like the "year of birth" of a home ; not just my house is 28 degrees.... 2. Shapes and Forms Feng Shui has to be considered; the exterior and the interior layout in relation to the feasiblity of placing a water position. 3. At best, no worries, here.. you could still practise "Trial and Error"; see where you like it then place it, there.

Hi, This is an interesting question. I guess this is not based on Feng Shui but as you have mentioned many single portaits do use women as they are more `graceful' and since most of these vases are delicate, a portait of a women would be nice. The above is not my believes but a comment on your statement based on quite alot of vases and even hand painted plates I also own. I for one do not want to be labelled a Male C. Pig. However, I do have large vases at home that do have male figurines e.g. the legend of the Eight Immortals where pictures were drawn on the vase with them crossing the sea. These Eight Immortals have both a mix of male and female figurines. So, it may n…

Dear Cecil, Thanks for your reply! However, based on my question 3 on the master bedroom, I have a further question about it. As shown in my previous diagram, since there are 2 hdb flats by the side of the pedestrian walkway, do the corners of the 2 hdb flats constitued sha-qi aimed at our master bedroom? What can we do if it is? Thanks alot! - Amy

Dear Sable, For Qing Ming, the best time to offer prayers is 10 days before and 10 days after Qing Ming. Thus 27 Mar and 3 April would fall within the 10 days prior to Qing Ming. (Qing Ming is 5 April 2005). Thus the last day to offer Qing Ming prayers is 15 April 2005. Warmest Regards, Cecil

1. From my perspective, I have encountered numerous individuals who have opted for resale condominiums. Nevertheless, the majority of these units are fitted with either new or reasonably well-maintained stoves. Many people deem it unnecessary to replace such appliances. 2. This tendency is a fundamental aspect of human nature. When we receive feedback, particularly from our parents, we often engage in deep reflection regarding our actions. 3. Frequently, it requires someone close to us to provide critical feedback in order to stir feelings of guilt within ourselves. 4. Your inquiry is primarily centered on personal beliefs and does not pertain to the princi…
