Edited by Robert: There is no promise as to whether Cecil will have time to review the condo that you have listed as he is extremely busy. Hi Cecil, I am a new member here and find this site extremely interesting. It provides a comfort zone to analyse when one faces related feng sui issues. Had read your review and some of your feedback about condominium at or around Flora Road - specifically Dahlia Park and so. Wonder if you have any review about the blocks at Estella Gardens TOP 1999, which is located at Flora Road as well. Would appreciate your view. What do you think about this Project in general? and anyparticular view on the blo…

Dear Judy, Thanks for the picture of the layout plan. 1. Yes, you can use an ordinary compass. 2. In the past, I had investigated many years back the `long houses' especially in parts of East Malaysia. These long houses, even when they were made of wood had unusual compass readings where the readings internally vary in different compartments. 3. I hope you don't mind if you can: 3.1 Go to a barren land or an open space near to your home. And take a compass reading perhaps from different areas. (Becareful of some open space as it may be littered with (hidden) such as thrown away metal etc... 3.2 Goto the different "compartment" and take the compass reading to check if the…

Further to what I had mentioned; in most industries a triage is important. In many instances; I mentioned A & E; where the french word Triage originated. For all modern vehicles; there is an ODB port; often located near to the dasboard. When a vehicles goes for servicing or troubleshooting; don't the Service engineer plug in and connect a laptop; to check for error codes? Without such a Triage how to determine exact problem?

I have a SW1 house that is facing an open field and a river. It was built before deeds were created, so likely around the late 1800's making it a period 1 house initially. An addition was added to the back sometime in the early to mid 1900's. When I moved in, I considered it to be a Period 8 house because they had renovated the entire house. Upon moving in, between 2021 and 2025 I have completely remodeled the house (moved the kitchen to NE1, added a sliding door to the back at N2, added a new roof, took out the floor down to the dirt in the back portion, took down a wall, remodeled the attic into a bedroom, painted everything, dug out the back of the house for better wat…

Okey, It is clear, excuses for the confusion. My intentions where good, I was honest about something I doubted, i hope u understand. Geomancy.net is the best communityI everfaced in my life, for cultural Identity directions that can be apllied in life. The layer of awarenes that implicates a certain basefor people to functionat full potential, is being activated once people areinformed of the feng shui theories. That is allI can sayas an Art student. once again Best regards andgood luck!

Dear Anon, In my opinion, one should not consider predecessor luck in Feng Shui. In the earlier message, what I mentioned was that Chinese do pay emphasis on where their forefathers are buried. But it is not correct to say that inheritance or holding back a home which once brought us luck is `predecessor'. I have also reinforced the notion that Feng Shui influence cannot be by `remote control'. If one manages to keep the previous house that brings one luck, most likely, the current house that one is staying is equally luckly to `allow' the owner to keep the previous house. One has to stay at the house to `enjoy' the luck. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Hi Master I am attaching my floor plan. Overall you can see there are 17 steps here, including one landing between 13th and 14th. You can also see here that the 17th step while on the same level as upper floor, it forms part of the stairs. could you please let me know if 1. Steps will be recounted after landing ie the 17th step becomes the 5th 2. If recounted there are only 12 steps to middle landing, is this unlucky? And what can be done about this? thank you

Dear Nancy, Nancy Liu wrote: Originally, my engagment is on May12'06 and my wedding is on May14'06. However all the hotels are fully booked. I guess these dates must be very auspicious. Now I've chosen Nov.21'06 for my engagment and Nov.22'06 for my wedding. This time the dates are on weekday and I think I won't have any problem booking the hotels but not sure whether it's a good date or not. Please advice whether the new dates are ok or not. Both of us are born in the year of Tiger. To be frankly, I really don't like to post or answer questions relating to wedding dates for a simply reason. Each person is realy unique so it is very hard to tell you for sure if a date is…

Sir, I could't contact you immdly as I was on tour.I have been asked by one our forum member regarding the square table formula and as of my knowledge same is given to your kind persusal and would like to know your comments and advices if any. Normaly if any of the corner is missing the opposite corner is to be noticed.e.g. If north east corner is missing,we may have to check the south west corner also.If that is also missed, then there is no need to worry about that,as such missing corners structuraly balaced and this is applicable to all sort of missing corners. If the missing corner is only at the particular orientation of the site.as the case refered for NORTH EAST,…

Hi Anon, Just as my reply to the other review query. At this point, not able to comment yet as we haven't yet have time to review it. Not going to be able to give you anytime frame as to whether it will be reviewed or not. But like I mentioned, if you do have units you like from that condo, then it is best you seek professional advise such as can or cannot buy service to review before buying it. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research

1. Yes, one may /could skip the First Time Open Door procedure and just do the move in ritual. 2. For this year; Take note the following sectors:- Grand Duke this year is East, 90 Degree. In addition, Misfortune/Sickness Star this year is also at East - Avoid sitting facing the grand duke or disturbing him by having renovations. Location in Conflict is West. - Avoid having renovations done opposite the location in conflict. 3. This year, it is not wise ESPECIALLYeven if one wants to dosimple renovations particularly at EAST. Given that both Grand Duke (Tai Sui) and Five Yellow (Misfortuen/Sickness) star is at that location. http://www.geomancy.net/resources/yearly-…

Hi Anon, Actually,a house should best fit the breadwinner. If the house fits the breadwinner, it also means that the rest of the family will benefit from the luck of the breadwinner since he earns a living for the entire family. The rest of the family does not need to have the entrance or frontage of the house to fit them individually. As long as, each of the family members have a suitable bedroom in which they draw luck from. So that means that it does not mean that each family member must enter the house using a different entrance (or the entrance that fit them individually). This isn't how this concept should be applied. Feng shui shouldn't be making your life mise…

I have 3 friends stay at the property name called 'The Rivervale' 1 facing punggol park, 1 facing the temple and another one is facing the Swimming pool. The husband staying at the one facing punggol park and temple died at mid age (around 43) and the one facing swimming pool is alway sick. Any big problem of the Feng Shui there, anyway can solve? In my opinion, it is best to seek expert advise, as no two units even on different levels are the same. Coincidentally, another development (a few km away from The Rivervale) called "The Rivervale Crest" condo has some problems, also:- 1. Please see my forum posting on Tue, 29 Jul 2003, 06:39 AM "2. Dear Anon, 1. It is good to hear that all the tables are already setup. This is the key issue. Since, it would not be good if you actually see your partition torn down and see your table move over to the new location. 2. As your new table is ready, wait for your colleague to move-out. For your move. If you do not have much items, simply place it into boxes such as the paper copier empty boxes. And bring all of them at one go to the new work-top. This is relatively no issue as compared to Para 1. 3. This portion is not Feng Shui but more of a belief:- When you do begin to move; just stroke your back a few times and mumble to yourself ie. "to your child" that we are moving …

Dear Tervino, It boils down to time factor:- 1. If one analyses the Eight House Theory carefully, it only considers the YEAR of birth. 2. Thus the Kua numbers under the Eight House Theory takes into consideration house directions based on YEAR of birth. 3. Pillars of Destiny, uses the YEAR, MONTH, DAY and TIME of birth. More advanced Pillars of Destiny considers two more pillars : Pillars of Life and Conception. Here, the final result or one's final element is considered `more' accurate than the one based on Kua numbers under the Eight House. Thus, in reality, one's Pillars of Destiny's element is theoritically more accurate because of this. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: Please advise is there a general guide line to choose a date for shifting house? What should I look out for when I'm trying to determine the date? Or is there a general calender for the whole year which should which date is good for shifting? In general, there are a few ways of checking to determine a good date:- 1. If you do not plan to use a tung shu / alamac calendar or ba zi, then most will agree that 1st or 15th day of the lunar calendar is often considered an auspicious date in general. 2. If you at least have a tung shu / alamac calendar, you can look for dates which is stated to be generally auspicious. In general, these should be …

Hi, I understand why you’re concerned. From your description, it sounds like the park behind your home probably doesn’t have water but is mostly flat. Here are a few things to keep in mind: 1. You can create a solid “backing” behind your house by putting up a fence. Good fencing options include brick walls, fences with creepers, fences with bushes in between, or fences with privacy strips like those used in army camps, as well as wooden plank fences for added privacy. 2. Adding a few medium-sized trees (not large ones) behind the house can also be helpful. 3. This isn’t about Feng Shui, but ideally, the park shouldn’t be a playground where ball games are p…

1. Frankly, I would personally keep to SW. For three reasons:- a. #1 is the coming prosperity star as you had mentioned, thus SW is still a better overall choice. b. Current 20 year water wealth resides. c. SW happens to be the very auspicious indirect water wealth spirit location under Period 8. Thus a big water position, here is good.

No matter how, just to take note that even for a Period 7 home, under Period 8, a period 7 home's chart would already lose some of its energy epecially if these were once auspicious under Period 7 e.g. double 7's etc... Since your layout is like it is, if you really need to use the stove, there is frankly not much choice unless one has a wet or dry kitchen or could bear buying a simple burner stove etc.. to be placed at another identified location. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear HK Don, hk don wrote: For applying a cure on a three storey terrance house for a given sector (say NW), do we need to put the samecure on every floor or just the ground floor or top floor? Pls advise. Thanks Generally, the best way is to always use colour scheme to balance up the room and minimise the use of cures. This is the most efficient and effective way. However, where there is no other option, then a cure at the right sector may be necessary. Depending on the severity, if really very unbalanced, then having a cure on different level is ok. Else, just fix up the more important rooms (ie bedrom, living room, main door etc).…
