1. Frankly, especially if one is single, not only yourself but many teenagers have idols. And many of your age have pin-ups like what you have described. It is totally fine! 2. This is unlike a situation, where one is married and have this 60's pin-up in the master bedroom. Here, it would invite "jealousy" by one's partner! Especially if the only pin-up is of this lady and not your wife! Go ahead, to place the picture (photo)! Especially since it will make you happy and all these personalisation makes for a cosy room!

Dear Leslie, On the topic of the bathroom, here are some guidelines:- 1. It is advisable not to have the toilet bowl exactly at the true compass directions:- a. In general, avoid having the toilet bowl at true cardinal points e.g. 0 degrees North, 45 degrees North-East, 90 degrees East i.e. every 45 degree increments. The rationale is that under the Eight House Theory, there are 8 sectors with four good and four bad sectors, having the toilet bowl directly at one of these locations could result in it `landing' on one of the auspicious directions. b. In a more specific analysis using the Flying Star Theory, it is best to avoid having the toilet bowl fall exactly at 0 degre…

Dear Master Regarding the Parc Life Executive Condo (EC) & Block 39, you have stated in Mar 2016 that :- (Block 39 stacks 36 & 37 are N2 facing whilestacks 38 & 39 are S2 facing Under Flying stars; there is a difference between a N2 facing vs a S2 facing chart. Here, under N2 facing; the combined auspicious wealth stars are wasted at the rear of the home. Here, "rear" often means wasted at the kitchen / yard area in stead of at the frontage like that of an S2 chart) I would like to ask for stack 38 - S2 facing - you have say that S2 facing the frontage is rear meaning wasted . Is it mean that stack 38& 39 frontage is waste - not go…

Dear Lisa, Frankly, this figurine is " remotely related " to Feng Shui. Under Chinese belief, yes, it should face `into' the house where one can accumulate luck. As for the placement, in general, place it at a location you personally feel comfortable with. Dear Members, 1. On member was asking on a book on choosing names. 2. Dr. Evelyn Lip had written a book approximately 110 pages. 3. One intersting topic is choosing names according to the number of strokes in each character besides other significance, symbolism and traditions in Chinese numbers. 4. In my opinion, the book is a simple introduction to Chinese numbers. And if you can find it in your local library, it is certainly worth borrowing it especially, if one wants to do a `research' into this area. (I think it should cost around US$10.00 or less.) Warmest Regards, Cecil

Frankly, the only place we canplace the bed is against the wall facing the double doors of our bedroom that lead directly out to the living room. Dear Anon, Unfortunately, since you mentioned that this is the only possible position you can place the altar. Then, there is very little you can do to re-position it. I mean Feng Shui is also actually about common-sense. I mean if course when possible if you are able to it is best to place it in the best possible position. But sometimes, these things happen and there is no possible alternative for you. So you just have to make do. When you look at feng shui, you have to look at it in a wholistic approach. Meaning that there are major issues right down to minor issues. It does not mean that just because one area is wrong, you will be faced with issues. Frankly, it t…

The story about the Five Coloured Paper used in Qing Ming: In ancient China, there was once an Emperor who took over the throne. After he took over the throne, he visited the location where his father was buried. Legend was that he looked everywhere but could not find the tomb. He nearly gave up until, one of his loyal aids; asked him to throw the `five coloured paper' (which can also be written on). He threw the `five coloured paper' and one of them was lodged in the grass field. True enough, it was his father's tomb. Hence, it was said that from that day onwards, Chinese besides giving offering also placed colourful paper (5 types of colours) and insert them around th…

Thank you so much for your reply and advise Master Cecil. I've made a mistake about the main door facing. It's actually facing the South and the bedrooms/Living room are facing North actually. Regards

1. Please see sample illustration. 2. As both Mr and Mrs are Strong Fire persons; one of their binding elements is METAL. 3. Thus if both are the owners or subsidiary proprietors of a condo unit; then it is better to get a Guan Yin that e.g. has pure white clothing (less the colourful lotus leaf colours) that she sits onto. 3.1 Or the clothing she wears is gold in colour. 3.2 Usually the figurines have "natural tone" colours. 4. The next thing is to walk around and stare at her face. Often, instinctively, if one likes that statue's face; then this is a potential buy. 5. Often the other more common material is a wooden Guan Yin figurine or a Guan Yin that has substa…

Hi, Here, you must note that there is a `Ranking' or `Priority' i.e. it is more important to be at a good sector of influence rather than face a good direction. For example, if you are constantly sleeping at one of your auspicious/good sectors, this is considered good. It would be better if you can sleep in a auspicious/good sector and also face a good direction. Contrast this to sleeping in an inauspicious sector but facing your good direction. It will not do much good here. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Hoa Luong, Hoa Luong wrote: I'm thinking about adding a roof for the building of my business. The roof will be a metal roof painted RED. The building outside walls are a very, very light bluish white. The reason I'm thinking of having a RED roof is because fire (red roof) burns metal (white walls) to produce wealth. Is my reasoning correct? Is there anythingBAD about having a red metal roof? Your concept for the creating wealth is correct. ie Fire burn Metal = Wealth. However, it is a VERY BAD ANDNOT PRACTICALto use a Metal roof for several reasons:- 1. Metal roof will trap heat much faster than normal clay tilesor concrete roofs or glass or wooden roof. This w…

Dear Steve, There are many form of auspicious numbers:- 1. 666 if you look at it in hokkien is 6 = luck so it is luck luck luck. 2. Some like to go by like 8 (fa - wealth) 3. Another way is by luck number and calcultion based on your gua just as in the example shown in this url:- http://www.geomancy.net/reports/reports-list/perlist-eight-gua-number.htm 4. Some by meaning of the number. 4 may be (die in cantonese), but to the westerners 4 is used by like 4 leave clover which is lucky. So all these really depends on how much you believe. I think you should go for what you feel is good for you. 666 sounds like an auspicious number to me. 5. Probably other ways to improve y…

Dear Din Lee, Din Lee wrote: Need to know if my office sitting position is facing the six killing ie "liu sha" position and i cannot possible change my sitting arrangement. What can i do to minimise the bad impact.. Generally, unless a personis holding a key position in the company, it is most unlikely that you will be able to have the flexibility to choose a sitting position. So there is very little you can do even if you are stting facing your inauspicious direction. However, what we always advise is that there are still many areas in your life that you can improve. As long as, you can improve your ba zi luck, even if you work in an inauspicious direction, your luck …

Dear Glyn, Please read below:- Well, 8 is weak earth, crystal is water. If you look at water destroying 8 wealth, it is is good if you are a weak water wanting to enhance your wealth. However, if you look at it that 8 being an auspicious star water actually destroys the good star so it is not that a good cure. Rather an earthly type object would be better in terms of Flying star activation. Warmest Regards Robert Lee

Dear Fenger, 1. The design of a company logo is based on the Five Elements concept. Reference: http://www.geomancy.net/resources/theories/fs-5element.htm 2. Number of colors for the logo: Ideally, based on the Five elements concept, the company logo should have three colors. This applies to the company signage, also Here, three means progress. While two (colors) represents stagnation 3. Often, if the business is in an industry; then the company logo should preferably be designed to suit the industry. But often, it started off by designing a logo that suits the "person" or partnership. 4. For example, when you mentioned that you are an earth element: one has to be s…

These are some of the considerations:- 1. Priority should be given to the Water and Mountain stars. 2. If I read you correctly; when you mention "sitting" star; I believe you are refering to the base star or some call it the palace star. 3. Well, it is preferred to look more closely at the both the Water and Mountain stars vs just only the "sitting" star(s).

Dear Anon, Appreciate if you can elaborate more of why you would want to find out about the element of red coral. Usually, these are considered part and parcel of the contents of a fish tank and should not be an "issue" unless, they have an unusual undefined shape. (Or if they occupy more than 33.3 percent of the floor area (or the volume of the location). Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Pun, 1. In Feng Shui, the area of main entrance door should be proportionate to the external wall frontage of the house. If say 4 panels of the glass doors can be opened, there is likelyhood that the main entrance is considered larger than the frontage of the house. 2. Where possible, avoid opening the side of the glass doors which are directly facing the gate. More importantly, the glass door should not be on the straight line as the backdoor or open space. Where Qi would take a straight path out of the house. 3. If so, you may need to consider a screen or a display cabinet that does not have `holes'. 4. If your concern is the front yard gate pillar, then if you use…
