Hi Master, If my unit has window (bedroom)in the South which faces the swimming pool and club-house, and main door in the North-East (common area + lift landings), should I considered my frontage as from my South facing windowand the main door as "backyard"? Thanks, Tim

We haven?t done any repairs until the last year. And this summer we are going to repaint our sitting room and children bedroom. I believe that it's important to have the right colour. Is it possible to have someone analyze our apartment plan - to help with furniture and colours? What dates/other information might be needed to choose the right paint? I would apreciate your advice or any references if you come any relevant discusions on the web. yours in FS

Dear Cah..., I strongly suggest you go and read or re-read some of my other replies.... Clue: 1. Situational approach: No two situations or "flying star charts are" the same.... 2. Yes, try to be more conversant with the "Five Elements Concept".. 3. In a 20 year flying star chart.. there are more than 1 variable.. e.g. MS# WS# and Base #. 4. Sometimes.. when the cure is "very complicated"..... please check out my very recent posting on "Yin / Yang " concept as the higher food chain of the Five Elements concept..... If so: please evaluate what you have said " In flying star concept, we need water to activate water star and we need wall to activate mountain star, is…

Has anyone read FS for Idiots? I would like your opinion please. I like the charts they have and the classical style. I have thrown out all the Lin and Too books I bought. There are too many contradictions there. So far I like this Forum's books (I bought them and use them)and the above. I'm open to any suggestions of other "classic FS" texts. Thank you.

Dear Bea, 1. Under this current Flying Star period, in general, the best colour is light shades or beige or cream color. 3. In such a situation, one should be realistic: 3.1 One way of doing is to find the binding colours of two parties first. And then look at all four. If colors does not match or some colors are inauspicious for some, then: 3.2 For the breadwinner and partner, colors can be seleted on the basis of their binding element. For example: If husband is considered a weak wood person and wife is considered a weak water person; then the binding element or color is the water element i.e. blue, black or grey. Since water (blue, black or grey) helps weak…

Dear Freddy, 1. Since you are occupying only a room (rental), you can still place decorative objects in your room. 2. I have known many who have done this. 3. One can still use the Eight House to divide the room into eight sectors but since it is usually a relatively small room can be considered not practical to do so. 4. More important consideration is to make sure that (or try) to make the room conform to Shapes and Form FS. 5. If it is difficult to do so, then, at least avoid having the bed on the same wall as the toilet. 6. If there is a window, check to see that there is no poison arrow aimed into your bedroom. 7. If possible, not to have the room become too clutt…

Dear Todd, Congratulations! For a newbie, you did a great job in researching and constructing a Flying Star Chart. 1. Yes, given that Grand Duke is at SW this year, it is indeed a good idea to give up on placing the tub at this sector, here. 2. At South-East sector, quickly: #1 = water #2 bad earth and #4 is wood. Quoting your research: "Lu Qi V2.3 Flying Stars of House - Metal is the cure, as it weakens the Earth and strengthens the Water of the good star 1. Possibly Wood, which fed by Water, controls the aggressive Earth of 2. But no mobile Water, that would activate the bad star 2!" Based on the Five elements concept: http://www.geomancy.net/resources/theories/fs-5el…

Dear Sophia, What I meant is that one should not display 6-of-them on the same table or pair them up together. But rather, there is no major issue if they are not ALL figurines but if there is a picture of them and a set of three figurines. Thus I am talking about 2 sets of Fu, Luo & Shou. Much like identical twins : Fu Fu, Luo Luo & Shou Shou. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Please clarify the term you mean "face inwards". Do you mean the facing direction of your entry to the house? Thanks for advice.

Currently we already have a Fu Lu Shou placed close to our dining table area. Recently my husband's aunt has converted to Christianity and is passing her Fu Lu Shou statue to us and now we have 2 sets of the Fu Lu Shou statue. I would like to find out if one household can have 2 Fu Lu Shou i.e. is there any clash in the fengshui and how I should placed the 2nd Fu Lu Shou statue? Your advice is greatly appreciated.

Dear Anon, You can view this actual picture of a building in Singapore that is named Fu Lu Shou. It has the three deities or figurines: http://my.geomancy.net/mypictures/cgi-bin/imagefolio.cgi?direct=Buildings/Commercial_Buildings/Fu_Lu_Shou If you see the pictures carefully, Fu Lu Shou is `displayed' on the external wall from left to right i.e. Shou or Longetivity is on the far left. (This is where you stand in front of the building.. looking at the building). In the same instance, the figurines should be displayed from left to right. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Lien, If you want to place a Fu Fu dog, you should place it on top of each pillar of the main gate. They should be facing outwards and not facing each other. It has more to do with `frequent' Chinese practises than Feng Shui i.e. it serves to `guard' the house rather than the concept of Feng Shui i.e. to improve Qi. In my opinion, if one wants to place a pair of Fu Fu dogs closer to the home e.g. outside the main entrance door, it is best that you should do some "homework" or review the location in relation to the Flying Star theory. This will depend on the material used for the Fu Fu dog. Usually they are made of `earth' or alternatively `metal' element. Make sure t…

Dear Sudarshan, Based on a survey conducted, on this site, some of us seemed to be bothered by a mirror facing the bed. Whereas for some others, this is no issue. Firstly, you could check whether the mirror faces any part of the bed (not just the bedroom). If it does face the bed, do you feel restless or do not sleep well? If your answer is yes, then, it is best to try and cover the mirror. If so far, you are not affected by having the mirror face the bed.. ie. you can sleep peacefully, then, you should not be affected by it. There are several ways to `cover' the mirror: 1. A more costly approach is to change the door to a non-mirror door or 2. Buy those off the self opaq…

1. Sorry to hear about it. 2. More importantly, the new burial site - if any is very important. However, if cremation - this is considered neutral. 3. Other than the above; what can change is one's earth luck: Feng Shui for the living (one's home Feng Shui and office Feng Shui are very important) factors.

Hello, I read with interest regarding the given situation for a students room. 1) According to Shapes and Form FS, is it acceptable for a study desk not to be immediately against a wall. 2) and is it acceptable for the study desk to be facing a large built in wall size wardrobe - with say one of the desks sides immediately adjacent against a wall? 3) is it also acceptable to place a study desk with the persons back if there is a bed and balcony doors direclty behind the desk 4) i've attached a sample diagram. your comments is kindly appreciated. Kind regards Scott

This is thelayout of my apartment. I am a Kua 1 female person from ?77, with auspiciousareas of SE, S, E and N (but I do not know if that should be understood asgeographic or Bagua-wise). The apartment?s main entrance is with a normal compasson the East, and the living room?s and the bedroom?s windows and the balconyare facing West to a noisy street. I need to improve my health, myrelationships, and my income/career. 1. In the bedroom, I can?t place the bed (140*200cm)in a way to have 2 nightstands and comfortable walking space around the bed, orto have no noise during night coming from the window. 2. I can?tseem to find a harmonious place to put my office desk with…

Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: I'm new here and hope to get further explanation pertaining to my feng shui report on my apartment number. My apt is: Blk 101-17-4, year building was built estimated in 1999/2000. The '81 Interpretation' analysis stated as 5 + 1 = illness & sickness. How does the 81 interpretation arrived at such analysis. So far for the 4 years of staying in my apt, there has been no major illnesses for me & my husband. No doubt, my daughter would experience minor sickness which is common for all small children. I keyed in '17-04' as the flat no.Did I key in the correct flat no.? Would really appreciate your expert input on this matter. Frankly, the …
