There are unfortunately 4 doors in my bedroom, however I keep 2 of them (almost) permanently closed and locked. The only ones I use regularly are the main entryway and the door to the ensuite bathroom. However, the bathroom door is directly facing one of the locked doors (which lead out to a small balcony), and my bed is situated in between. I understand this is bed feng shui. My questions are these: 1. Is the effect of 2 opposing doors negated because I keep one always locked? From what I've researched, it seems people who live in rooms facing each other argue a lot. Since I'm the only one in my room, surely this is no problem? 2. For the negative effect of a bat…

Dear Nevine, nevine al seidi wrote: I am strong wood. This means my colour is green. Should I employ more red and fire element, more and more metal in my home to neutralize my nature? And does this mean I should surround myself with less living plants? I think you are a little confused here. Kua (Eight House) is often used more for most suitable/best facing etc. It is based on year of birth so it is less accurate when you are planning to use for personal analysis. Thus, even though there is a kua element you do not use it as your personal element. Ba Zi charts your luck and true personal element as it uses the day/month/year and even hour of birth. So it is better to …

Dear Kumar, kumar g wrote: mywife was born on 9 july 1985 . so what will be her age according to chinese calenderas on 10 october 2005 . is it 20 years 3 months or 21 years . Just count her age from the lunar birth date 22 day 5th month 1985 year. The age as on lunar date 10 day 10month 2005 year would be 20 years 3 months. This is usually the best way to count your date based on whether it pass your next lunar birth date. This is the best way to count just like your western birthdate. The reason why there is some who will consider it 21 years, is because they only count by the year. Meaning that though you are born on 22 day 5th month 1985, they will consider that age…

Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: Could you please advice that having three ducks is good or bad. i bought a set of ducks and it had three white ducks in it. I have placed them at the front door. I thought that having a pair is good. Could you suggest that should I throw the third one and what could be the best place to place the ducks. In general, for any animal it is best to have them a pair. It is not auspicious to have 3 as it would be like there is a 3rd odd one out. If you relate it to a relationship, it is like having a 3rd party. So not not really advisable. It is best you either keep the 3rd duck and only display the 2. As to whether to display, this is really u…

Dear Carren, CARREN CHARLES wrote: How do we know the right direction to place a bed? CARREN CHARLES wrote: Says our best direction is west, we are laying on the bed with headboard behind our head: The best way to define the direction is by the positioning of your head and feet. ie say your best direction is West. This means that your head should be pointing West and your feet will be pointing in the opposite direction East. So this menas your headboard will be behind your head at the west. Hope that helps. Dear Robert and Cecil, It is a common scene that one building is split into two properties and that would mean that each property would only have a front garden. Sometimes the rooms would protrude into the neigbours property space, both propertiessahare one roof. All this appears to me as a situation to be avoided when purchasing a property. My question is could there be a scenario when this kind of living arrangement is possitive to individualliving in it? Perheps whenthefacing of the property occupiedis one of their fourpossitive sides. dragana

I haveencased myfish tank ina partition wall between my living and dining room. This means SE of the living room and SW of dining room. Using the five element theory, water in SE is productive but not so if placed in the SW. Is that right? Please advise if I need to put a screen to 'close up" (visually) the fish tank in the dining room. Thank you very much.

Dear Master Lee, I have an entrance foyer in the NW sector of my new house, which occupies 50% of this sector. Since this foyer has only 2 walls, I would have to consider it as missing? How can I place cures here to minimise the effect of having this missing corner? I plan to place a bright light in the foyer and use a venetian blind on one side to represent a 'false' wall and to protect the shoe cabinet from the harsh sunlight. What else could I use or try? Thank you. Best Regardsaulina

Hi, I would like to know if there are any cures for my hubby who has a roving eye.2 years ago, I almost caught him having an emotional connection/affair with a woman colleague. But he said there was nothing. Lately, I notice he keeps eyeing younger and sexy looking girls as soon as my back is turned. Is there any feng shui cures for making him loyal to our relationship? Please help!

Dear Sir: I have just figured out that one of our upstairs bathroom is located inthe Good Fortune/Wealth corner of our house and the guest bathroomlocated downstairs isat the very Center of our house. I guess that just explains why ever since we moved in this house, our debt has becomea lotworse! Is there anything we can do or put in these two bathrooms besides just keeping it closed because we do use both of them frequently. Please advise me to prevent our wealth from flushing away. Thank you so much!

Dear Cecil, I am being sued and I am very angry.I was born on November 21, 1948 in Quebec Canada. Since I have moved in this house I have been sued two times. My house faces the North 20 degrees. I am a north west house person. When I was sued I was sleeping with my head pointing north east, and my bedroom is in the east section, and the head of my bed was against a bathroom wall. Since then I have changed my head to point to the West but now it is against a laundry room wall. Please tell me what I could do to improve my chances so I can win this law suit, because I have done nothing wrong. Thank you. Cecile

What if the areas I have in mind are all pernicious areas, that function as: living, dining and work space? I thought since all fall in my disaster, death and spook area, I might need to insert some yang. Or am I going in the opposite direction?

Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: Pls advise on which birthdate should we use for all kinds of feng shui calculator ( eg. four pillar, kua, bazi, etc ) - the solar ( as in the birth certificate) or chinese lunar date? That is why you will see a western and lunar calendar information at the beginning of the report for you to counter check to ensure that the information are correct. Hope that helps.
