The main point of the text is that the popular understanding of a move-in primarily revolves around the concept of staying overnight, which can be interpreted both literally and symbolically.

Further to what I had mentioned; For those who need to find out the significance of anything e.g. a bagua mirror facing a home etc... it is always best to find out or as the saying goes, a picture paints or tells a thousand words.

Dear Kelvin, Kelvin Goh wrote: Is import & export and sub letting of wholesale centre a water element career? Inmport and Exporting in general transport related, so Wood element. Sub-letting of wholesale centre is similiar to rental so Earth element. So it is a mixed of Wood and Earth element. Kelvin Goh wrote: What is the full lists of Water Element Career? Frankly, it is impossible to create a comprehensive career list because there are simply too many types of career. We only have a key sample of career breakdown:- URL: http://talk.geomancy.net Based on that, you will aready be able to classify most careers. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMAN…

It is logical to keep the water bottle closed when not in use. If the bottle is not exposed to heat and is securely closed, it can be stored for an extended period of time. Indications that the water needs to be replaced include bubbles in the water or the bottle shrinking. Therefore, it is similar to a "set it and forget it for a few months" type of situation.

Dear Stephane, From my opinion, the best Feng Shui books are not in English but in Mandarin either written by practising Masters in Taiwan or in Hong Kong. Unfortunately, one needs to know Mandarin in order to read such books. Many of such books are also not translated into English and currently many English educated Feng Shui authors are capitalising on this but many are still no `match' for the `originals' although many English speaking Feng shui authors try to make a good attempt at it. Currently I will not mention the books here but we have found fundamental flaws in the `current batch' of Feng Shui books on theories relating to Pillars of destiny and the Flying star.…

1. The developer uses this same layout plan for his entire project in a Singapore "estate". 2. Again, same story: toilet at the frontage. And the toilet bowl shares an "external wall". 3. Hopefully, again, the toilet plumbing is not above the "critical" living room areas such as the sofa seat area.

Dear Cheui May, Grateful, if you can draw a simple sketch as it will be clearer to see/understand. If you can how far is the `threat' and is there a road between your house and your neighbours. If so, roughly how wide is the road? Warmest Regards, Cecil P.S. Please post it to the conference for attachments. Thanks in advance.

Dear Oliv, Oliv Sullivan wrote: Oh, my head is spinning! How easy for you and hard for me (with my western brain) to understand. Please bear with me....so - or + does not indicate weak or strong rather yin or yang, correct? If this is so, then how it is determined whether a person is weak or strong whatever? Would it be the over abundance or lack of a particular element in the total ba zi? - is actually for yin, while + is for yang. It has never been associated with weak or strong. Ba zi is a complex shool, that is why we have theonline analysis which determine for you whether you are weak or strong without worrying about the technicalities. All I can tell you is that …

Thanks Cecil, Frankly I also caught it by surprise at the shop and the bed layout fits very well to tap my boys best direction. The elder sleeping pointing to the west (below bed) and the youngest onto sleeping facing to the south, on the left and both have a strong support of the wall. And it save space too. The table below also good for my elder boy facing the west. Guess nothing is always perfect. Will hunt for the normal type instead. Hope this is good layout for discussion.

Hi, I just entered my birth details on your Free Personal Ba Zi / Feng Shui Element Report and it showed inauspicious overall luck for my entire productive life. Literally from the age of 20 to 80 (which is pretty much the age of someone's entire life). I only have good luck at the age of 90 to 100 Does that mean I have a really bad bazi chart and life would generally be unlucky?

Dear Amy, Thanks for your clarifications. Since you are using your room at night, lighting is important and this would depend on whether you are working or resting. As far as possible, try to make the room as cosy as possible particulary place a faourite photo or even a small vase of (real or artificial) flowers would help. 1. Your analysis is OK. 2. Just take note that usually Orange colour should be classified as under metal = gold element. 3. As three major dialect groups of the Chinese consider "orange" as gold:- 3.1. The Cantonese Dialect group (largest population outside of China, Guandong province) in Hong Kong and is 2nd largest Chinese population in Singapore: calls orange "KUM" or gold. 3.2. The Hokkien Dialect group (in Singapore is the largest dialect group) outside of China calls it "KIM" or also gold. 3.3. The Teochews (the third largest dialect group in Singapore) also calls it "KIM" or gold. 4. For example, many young couples or youngsters who visit their elders always …

Dear Kenny, 1. Thank you for the link. I have already checked out the two designs. 2. If you look at the attachment (Source and credit to: HDB), one can find that both units does not have toilet(s) at the centrepoint. Other comments: Blk 297B Compassvale Street #02-24 ================================== Under Shapes and Forms Feng Shui: 1. It is not as auspicious to have the main door (face) the dining table. 1.1 This is more of a commonsense approach in Feng Shui. 1.2 The rationale is because often, in many homes, the dining table is often cluttered with food e.g. bread and since not all family members return home at the same time, food is often left on the table. The di…

Serene K. wrote: If my Bed is putting exactly same as the plan and my stove is putting as your mark as ''X''. Is it not good? Why? any solution? Yes, I suspected that your stove would have been at that location as 65 percent of such layout plans do place the stove at that position. This is under symbolism in Feng Shui; where it is considered inauspicious to have stove = fire element sharing the same wall as your bed-head. For some, they have a "thick" bed-head with a shelf behind their bed to place the alarm clock etc... this is one solution. The other is to move the bed-frame two inches away from the wall shared directly with the wall of the stove. The main concern is…

Thanks Master Cecil for your advise. I will maintain the existing door. When I generate the 'Eight House Report' from your website. I got to know that North is my 'death' direction. My house currently is facing North direction. Does it means that is bad for me? Is there any way to overcome this? Please advise. Thanks.

Asians are familiar with this plant. As it's essence is used to flavour Nonya cakes and used in many deserts and there is even a pandan cake. Some Singapore Taxi drivers and even Singaporeans place a bunch of this pandan plant in their car. To them, it is believed that cockroaches dislike this plant and thus is used as a natural method of getting rid of roaches in a home or car. To many from overseas, they may find this smell as pungent as smelling the local durian fruit. The family name of this plant is: Pandanaceae and it's common name is called fragrance pandan. This plant is relatively easy to grown in a home. And is also one of the all time favourites of hous…
