Dear Master Cecil, I wish you well. Could you kindly help to differentiate between a period 7 or period 8 house. How does one determine a house as period 7 or period 8? The HDB flat that I am currently living is built in 1989, I moved in 2011, without much renovation, except changing the toilet door, and the toilet seat. So far, in my opinion; all browsers with secure lock on shown on the browser is encrypted at the point of time of maing any transaction(s). Dear master, I have heard that if the main entrance door (in a landed house or apartment building) is elevated from the street height (like 1 or 1.5 meter), this makes it more difficult for Qi (chi) to enter the house, and this house receives less Qi than those houses which the main entrance is not elevated from the ground. I was told that cures sold by grand master l****** T** are authentic and embedded with mantras and that all other Feng Shui cures at cheaper prices are not authentic and will not work. Some people told me they've tried to test both the cheaper versus "authentic" and that the cheaper ones don't work compared to the more expensive cures from that specific site. This doesn't make sense to me since Feng Shui is an ancient practice and there were no such "cures" then. I would like to have a discussion about this and required support. Thanks

I'm confused. I have been seeing many feng shui online say the number 2 is still sickness/illness star during period 9. But others stating it's not auspicious. If I'm correct, the 3 top numbers stand during each 20 year period cycle. Example, during period 7, the top 3 numbers were 7/8/9. During period 8- the top 3 is 8/9/1 (present wealth/near future wealth/distant wealth). So period 9 is supposed to be top 3 numbers 9/1/2- so why are some online feng shui articles stating the 2 is still negative? The actor: A car. Common sense says that a car can't fly unless it hits a ram. In this illustration, even if one stays at 3rd, 4th or 5th floor or even 40th floor and directly peer downwards, can see a straight road "coming towards the stack". The direct impact if any of a straight car is at most 1st storey or if it does fly it flies up to no more than 2nd storey. As to whether the entire stack may collapse after the car plough into the 1st storey home (apartment) is another story, here.

We have a solid front door, but this opens onto a kind of internal door, which then opens to the main hallway facing the staircase. So basically the portion between the front door and the internal door is like a porch, where we hang coats and so on. I wonder what this means for chi. I remember the front door shouldn’t be facing the staircase, so having the internal door might be a good thing. But is flow of chi blocked by the internal door?

Greetings, Master Lee, I understand the importance of positioning a bed in relation to bedroom door, windows and mirrors. However, a friend just commented that even though a bed is not facing a bedroom door, it is still bad fengshui if the head or foot of the bed points to the direction of the street/main gate/car port. My bed is in the middle of the house, not at the front side, which will understandably be noisy. Is my friend's comment true?

Master Cecil, Thank you for the additional inputs. I have learnt much from your guidance. I have determined that my unit's front entrance or 'mouth' is the main door. However, at the rear of my unit (kitchen window), I have identified a potent poison arrow from the lightning rod of the covered walkway roof slicing into my kitchen. Do I have to be concerned since my unit front direction is free from sha qi? Since my front entrance is cleared, will sha qi from other directions contain a much more adverse affect? Thanks again, ML

Hi Master, I wonder if you can help me understand how to analyse a two floors house. The house of my case is perfectly squared on both floors, like a cube. The question is whether I have to calculate eight mansion and flying star indipendently for the two floors and find the two centers. Or maybe the directions and the stars are the same provided that the rooms are more or less in the same position on the two levels. I hope you can help me. Thanks Ludovico
