While going thru your recent property review (only pics??) I google the project andfound something interesting while looking at the sitemap of The Quartz. The shape of the project reminds me of a fish...with blk 63 the "Fish head" and ending at blk 51 with "The tail". The development at the side of blk 61 n 59 looks like the fin. Aka "Koi" With more water at the nearby Punggol park wat implication does it offer to the resident of The Quartz?? Or does it not? Maybe the developer purposely design it to look like this to compliment the huge water element at Punggol park. Related:

Hi Anon, Anonymous wrote: Do you mean a professional feng shui master will be able to advise? How about Master yourself? How much will you be charging for the service? Dear Fran, Thank you for taking the effort to draw an outline of your house in relation to the cul de sca. However, Apologies, I still cannot see a clear picture of the position of your main door in relation to the cul de sac. For example, if your house driveway is covering the stretch of road leading to your neighours in the cul de sac, I could not see a road leading in and out for the owners or your neighours. The main door seems protected from the road. But as you had mentioned, it faces the roof of a neighour. You further mentioned that there is a tree to block the view of the neighour's roof. This can be a double edged sword. The rationale is because, the tree trunk …

One reason is So long as having a furniture or a table at the location is acceptable. However, in my honest opinion, it is best not to place e.g. a decorative piece such a porcelain vase etc... where possible leave this location blank' of any objects that may sway the `neutral' balance to any of the elements. For example, best also not to place a PC or TV set directly at the middle point. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Hi, I would like to know if this building has good fengshui. http://www.jtc.gov.sg/Products/business+park/changi+business+park.asp Facing NE with water features flowing in. Building is rounded with back facing SW. Only funny design is 1st floor is below street level and therefore water like a stream flows into the central foyer pond like a valley from NE. Second floor has another visitor lobby and is street levelfacing SW also has a small water feature behind. Building has 9 floors and is completed in 2003 and I think should be period 7 building. Still some touching up at the top floor...Not sure if its period 8 as some say near period 7 end building is period 8... …

Dear Curtis, Please see below:- I am glad that you found the advise useful. For a split level house; it should not apply as what we would like to have is to apply the concept of clear space in the living room and the steps leading up to the split-level i.e. dining is part of this feature. Thus, in your case, there is certainly no need to use a partition. The partition or divider should be used if there is some adverse sha qi such as a toilet facing the main entrance. Here, you have to understand the following: 1. If you are doing a Feng Shui audit to determine which is the main entrance door; then, it would be a main concern as to which door to use to analyse …

Hi Kaushal, Generally, you are refering to the fact that your house has a base star forming the Luo Shu square where adding the numbers from each of the direction gives you 15. Yes, I have not doubt that your chart looks like a luo shu square. And it does have number combination influence. However, Flying Star is not so simple as to just looking at the numbers of the base star. It is even more important to understand the interactions of the Flying Star when encountered with two important stars that constantly fly around the base star every 20-year and yearly. The monthly and daily stars are often not so important as quite difficult and also not to mentioned tedious to w…

1. Frankly, majority of the time, or intuitively, once we see a room, often, we have in our mindsa suitable seating arrangement. 2. As your message is vague, it is best that one should feel "comfortable" sitting in a direction viewing tv (based on para 1.). 3. Thus, I really won't know for sure, given that there is no layout sketch. Even if there is a layout sketch, if Feng Shui is applied, considerations like the shapes and forms, eight house and flying star Feng Shui is considered. 4. Honestly, a Feng Shui practitioner will often consider the environment. If the environment is a bedroom, a "sane" FS practitioner would never recommend a wind chime in a bedroom! 5. …

Dear Robert Lee I read somewhere saying that The Three Killingsas important as Tai Sui (The Grand Duke of Jupiter) and The Annual Five Yellow. It is imperative that one mustnot undertake any form of noisy renovations orre-decorative work. Nor should one disturb the ground by digging holes, building foundation or conduct any maintenance work with any noisy equipment in this area inside or outsidethe property or garden. But our whole estate isin construction(lift upgrading). What should I do.As it is situated at East direction. One must never sit with the back to this direction. It is better to face this direction, especially if this is one of your four favourable personal…

Dear Ricky, Yes, this is definitely a much better arrangement: 1. the sharp edge of the cabinet no longer points towards the dining table. 2. this layout definitely makes the kitchen more rectangular in-shape and the fridge is now flushed against the wall area. (So long as there is proper ventilation for the back of the fridge, this is ok). 3. If the oven is at position A, this is OK. 4. Generally, we have not taken into consideration the wife's ba zi to see if the stove is in a good facing direction. But, if say the opposite direction is favourable, then a mirror can be used to "reflect" the image to the other side of the wall. Especially if current stove is sa…

Dear SL, 1. In my opinion, if you want to truly understand real Feng Shui, you should start with academic books, especially those by Dr. Evelyn Lip. 2. Some of Dr. Evelyn Lip’s books include “Feng Shui for the Home” and “Chinese Geomancy.” These titles are easy to find on online bookstores like Amazon. 3. Unfortunately, many people today overlook her books because they focus on the history, origins, and foundational concepts of Feng Shui rather than providing step-by-step advice or quick solutions. Instead, many readers are drawn to authors who offer easy-to-follow instructions. This leads people to believe these are the “real” practices because they seem s…

1. In my opinion, majority of these things are modern commercial products. (Virtually useless.) 2. Just imagine, your parents and grand parents time don't have such things how? 3. Look at it this way: How old are you? And how old have you own a car? Did you when you bought the first car or this car; place any of such "charms". 4. If I were you, I will re-read Para 1; if one cannot find the answers you wanted. 5. Even if it was given out of good will by your friend; Please refer to Para 1. 6. Is it a coincidence that I bought a red car and/or a grey car that I was involved in more accidents than I would with any other coloured colour? 6.1. Scientifically, it was found tha…

Dear Wasis, 1. You asked a very interesting question. 2. For those who have studied Management subjects: the term " Situational Approach " or " It Depends ". What this means is that it is felt that not two cases are the same. We have to depend on the situation and each situation may vary. Please see below:- To cure #5, #2, #4 and #5; the MOST EFFECTIVE cure is BIG METAL. For #5, (STRONG METAL) it is a " bad, bad boy" and the best cure is to use a 6 rod, metal windchime. For #3, (STRONG WOOD) it is also highly recommended to use the constant chime 6 rod wind chime (symbolically) to `hammer' it like akin to constantly smashing it. Similarily, moving metal such as 6 rod…

IN SUMMARY " Viewing a new apartment during the seven-month ghost festival might be seen as unlucky because of cultural beliefs about the spirits of the departed. It's wise to consider local traditions and feelings when scheduling such events during this time." - Cecil Lee, Geomancy.net +++ Dear Jeffrey, 1. I believe there are different views on what actions to take or avoid during the 7th month. 2. The key point is to refrain from traveling or being away from home (like camping, for instance). 3. Personally, I think it's still 'acceptable' to look at a house. However, some FS professionals might not fully agree with this. Thus, we…
