Dear Master Cecil Would like to find out from you the following: 1. HDB resale has been vacant since 2018 (Collecting key on 1st/2nd week of Dec 2020). A. Is doing this ceremony (http://www.geomancy.net/info/initial-opening.pdf) as what you've provided more than enough? OR B. Hello, I have a big dilemma. We purchased a home a year ago, S2 Period 7, house was built in 1952, however, the owner told us he had replaced the roof in 1995. Using your site & various good books, I made several changes & applied various cures. Things seemed to have calmed down for the whole family except my oldest son.He is doing well in school but has now had 2 car accidents, constant sickness, and we've noticed he's been drinking (alcohol) more lately. Have I made a mistake & should instead consider our house to be a Period 5? We really don't know whether the new roof was just placed on top of the old one or if it was totally taken off. How would you sugges…

May I know how to decide between yin and yang cures eg. real moving water vs still water/deep blue decorative color/picture of waterfall? Is 6 metal coins tied together with a red string considered a yin cure? If I do not wish to activate water star 7 but need to reduce its effect, is it better to use a yin water cure?

Dear Anon, Seems like the home should be considered a Period 8 home. Since it would need to take up to next year or 2006 to be completed. Here, it would imply that when the apartment blocks reached Period 8, I believe all the floorings, facade, windows, main doors have not been completed as yet. Thus a test is equvalent of when did the home had a major renovation? If most of the skeleton of the home had been completed in 2004, but major finishings such as the flooring, toilets, kitchen etc is uncompleted, but completed under Period 8, then I personally feel that the home should be considered a Period 8 apartment. Warmest Regards, Cecil

In my new studio apartment it looks like I'll have to sleep under a loft structure. The loft is about 8 feet high in a space that has 12 foot ceilings. But there would be several beams of the loft overhead while sleeping. What are the best fixes for this? Hang a canopy? Crystal over head?

My wife and I are thinking of buying a house at the center of a cul-de-sac. There are three houses on this cul-de-sac, and the one we're considering is at the center. The front of the house though is not perfectly perpendicular to the street, and is tilted somewhat towards the right (if you're facing the house). Th house faces Northwest, and it has a fireplace on it Southeast wall. Does this have the same effect as having a house on a t-junction? Is this house badly situated? Your guidance on this will greatly be appreciated. -Patrick

Hi Master, Would like to get your advice regarding a shelf place (with shoes) outside my opposite neighbour door which I can see clearly when standing near my door when I am inside. Understand that the edge and shelves acts as poison arrows. Have spoken to him before and the previous items (long shoe rack and chairs) were removed. But a few weeks later, new surprises will appear (recently a bigger shelves that was removed and replaced by current shelf). Other than speaking to him again, what can I do to reduce the bad effects of the shelf. As I believe after speaking to him and having the current shelf removed, a week or few weeks later, more surp…

Can you please help me to boost my wealth and lovelife sector? I also have a dogI love dearly. What can I do to help him to have a high quality life with me? Thank you very much Cecil and Robert for your reply in advance! Olivia

For a combined Strong Earth vs Strong Wood elements, the best cominbed elements is Metal element. However, metal element alone may not be quite possible to come up with a logo. Thus the following elements may be considered:- MetalWITH Fire Metal = white or metallic colours or silver or gold Fire = Red, pink or purple Shapes associated with the elements can be found below:- Reference:- http://www.geomancy.net/talknotes/talknotes.htm

Dear Master Lee I have located the centre of my flat and using compass bearings, divided it into the respective pie sectors. But when I convert this into the 9-sector grid, the bottom sectors - NE, N and NW - are smaller than the rest. I have attached the floor plan. What have I done wrong? Regards --- Julie

Hi lisa, In feng shui, there are a lot of thing that have to be put into consideration. As you and your husbands GUA is Chen(3), a House Sitting East Facing West should be Ok for both of you. Its only inauspicious when you are a east group person with a maindoor located in the west sector. As far as i know if your house is Sitting/Facing your inauspicious direction, there is nothin you can do about it. This is consider a Later Heaven problem. The above are my personal opinion. Steven

Cecil, I apologize if this message is a repeat. My computer froze after I posted the message so I don't know if it went through or not. In your chapter on House #, a 4 is an auspicious number. What is your take on a house number 220? Is it deduced to 4 or stays at 22 on its own? Thank you. Tammy

Hello, Can you please explain how the flying star chart works with the Lo Shu chart for the year, the house trigram chart with annual numbers & the gua? I am confused because they all require different and sometimes conflicting cures, here is an example. I just want to know what takes precedence and what should be ignored. (1) Flying star KUN 252 degrees Period 7- South is 9,4 (good luck for new business & benefits sons)- need to add water & goldfish. (2) KUN House Trigram South- is 6,5 Money luck blocked sickness could prevail- use bells & brass mirrors (3) Lo Shu for2005-has 8 star on South for Wealth, which means I should add a water feature. (4) Gu…

We plan to purchase a North facing house, period seven, with combination 10 chart. My husband (breadwinner)has birth elementStrong Metal. My birth element is Weak Water. He is an East person, and I am a West person, so our auspicious sectors are opposite. In the house in question, the master bedroom will be in his Death sector, unfortunately. Normally, I wouldn't even consider the house based on that, but the overall luck of the house and all the other sectors he'd spend most time in are in auspicious locations (Study, Kitchen, Family Room). Additionally, we can place the bed facing in his Health Direction and sector of the bedroom. The bedroom will by my Prosperity l…

Its in the SE and East sector ( Kitchen and toilet) area However my sister's family is having disharmony and argument leading to shouting quarrels all the time.I strongly believe its the 2,3 and 3,2 stars that really need to be cure, Her house is in period 7 and facing 230 SW2. Plse advise what to do as I really want to help her. Thank you Fan

I have read that having a staircase in front of the main entry is not good. Does this mean the steps should not face the main door and/or the staircase should not be positioned directly in front of the main door. We are considering a home with the entry opening into a spacious foyer. However, the the curving staircase is positioned in front of the main entry with the steps facing slightly offset and away from the main entry. The main entry points towards the the steps. The face of the steps is approximately a 45 degrees offset to main entry and point towards a wall next to the main entry. How would this layout be interpreted. Thank you.
