Dear SK, 1. Yes, I can understand the problem, here. 2. The best approach is to try to find the centrepoint of the home. Or the centre-of-gravity of the home. 3. For example, photocopy a scaled layout plan. Glue this onto a cardboard. Cut-out the outline. And (try) to balance the entire layout on a nail. (To find the centre of gravity or centrepoint) of the home. 4. The key here is to find the centrepoint. And from this centrepoint, use a `pie-chart' to radiate out the compass directions. 5. To summarise, once, the centrepoint is found; one can then (sensibly) apply the eight house and/or the flying star charts to the home. 6. Otherwise, unlike an `L' shaped layout plan, …

Dear Sir, I am considering an entrance level flat in a P7 , NW2 5 storey building. There are 10 households and 5 levels above ground in the building. 1) Attached is the map of the area, building is right under the purple pin, with the pool to the right. I understand this building should face a mountain form as a cure to it being an ''up mountain down water'' flat, There are bushes almost 2.5 meters outside the main entrance of the building- again in NW2. These are high so that my entrance level flat's living room windows which are in the same direction as the entrance , see nothing but these bushes. These bushes are not high as the building though, they would not be seen …

1. Yes, you have a valid point, here. (And depending on the Period) what you mentioned makes sense. However..... 2. To further understand better; 2.1. You need to overlay the flying star chart onto the layout plan. And thre are many considerations: master bedroom, kitchen: location and placement etc.. etc... 2.2. Shapes and Forms fo the external environment, the site and the building. 2.3. The drainage out of the property 3. As we go deeper into the analysis; and investigative work; the more we can understand better which facing IN RELATION to the plot and internal organs of the house is a better choice. 4. What you mentioned is like looking at an apple from the outside …

Dear Users, We have made some revision to the Pillars of Destiny module, regarding some errors in the description. Here are the general guidelines to better use or understanding of the stars found in your charts. 1. Flower of Romance. ===================== Description : This stars represents romance, social meeting or any social life. This information is particularly useful when it is found in your Luck Pillars:- Favourable Stars:- This could mean a chance to meet your suitable partner (not necessarily leading to a marriage). Unfavourable Stars:- This could mean that a romance which you have during that year could mean a disaster for you, eg. break up, or unhappiness etc.…

1. Big Tree - right opposite the main door Stand inside the door and look directly out of it. If the tree is not directly facing any part of the door (within the doorframe) then no issue. Else as mentioned in my earlier posting; can apply the "triangle-effect" i.e. do a search under this forum for it or the other options that I had mentioned. 2. Utility pole From your rough sketch - don't seem to be a threat to the home. 3. Pool Would need to have a proper assessment done based especially on Flying Star Feng Shui. Dear Users, We are pleased to inform you that we have completed our website updates to the entire Report, Course and Book Management. We have tightly integrated all three sites under the universal management system. As our site is getting larger and larger, we have to upgrade our various management screens so that they conform to a particular standard making it easier to access and navigate between them. 1. We have extended the interactive help menu to all areas of the Universal Management to serve as a guide for you in the navigation as well as the generations of reports. This would supercede the default status which is often blocked especially for the IE browsers. 2. We…

Dear Peck Wun, Please see below:- In matter what, your home is still a Period 7 apartment. Period 7 spans between 1984 to 2003. Therefore, even if there are several renovations or major renovations done e.g. in 2001, 2002 or even this year; your apartment will still be a Period 7 apartment/house. Where possible try not to do any work at South South-Weat or 210 degrees. If this is at true compass direction South-West, then it is still ok. If you have a compass, try to locate the centerpoint of your home. Stand there and confirm that the location is not South South-West 210 degrees. No, this is minor and no issue. Unless, you need to remove the aircon unit moun…

Dear Anon, Usually, what you had described is considered under the category of "Commonsense approach" to Feng Shui. This is often considered inauspicious because that there may be a probability or "a higher risk" of landslide. Especially if there is unduly a heavy rain and plus soil erosion. Because of this reason, it is considered inauspicious under Feng Shui. However, if this is not a concern, then, frankly (in general) there is no issue. Warmest Regards, Cecil Quote: Anonymous wrote: could you please let me know if up hill back gardens (when the ground behindones housegoesvery steep up)could have anegativeeffect.

Someone suggested I have a look at Feng Shui.. Honestly, I dont a thing about it.. Now i do aftred couple of websites.. but no clue on where to start.. To give you an idea, its a 2 bedroom, kitchen, and living room. bedrooms are in the east. kitchen in the south and living room starts north and extends towards south, with the main door at the south. We used to sleep with our heads in the north, but after reading some bits about website, we moved out bed direction towards south,…

Dear Ber, (This is not based on Feng Shui). It is best that you should not bring your 8 month old baby to the wake or funeral. As you have mentioned, there are cases where the baby will cry non-stop after coming home from such occasions. There are a few situations that may help: One is to buy flowers and lime and bring it to a temple to pray. Then use a clean bowl and fill the bowl with water. Add the flowers and lime and pour it over the childs head and the rest of the body. Remove the `waste' flowers and lime and discard it immediately. ----- My personal experience ---- Well, this is not entirely based on the same situation but I recalled when my younger brother was a…

Dear Chloe Lin, 1. Yes, it is not a good idea to use a urn. 2. Since the cul de sac is basically of the `metal element' i.e. imagine it as a metal sickle / knife slicing into your home, a better controlling item is red as mentioned earlier to you. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear L.K Wong, lk wong wrote: I would like to ask if it is auspicious to place urns in the lobby of a factory premises? Generally, urns are used in for cremation purpose. So if you view it as something to do with the dead, of course it is inauspicious to have them at any premises. Unless of course, your business is related to cremation then there is no choice. Dear Jeanette, Yes, it is preferred that a water feature does not face the main entrance. This is because, this is symbolic of wealth flowing out of the home. If you intend to install a granite wall feature, try to avoid a highly polished granite or marble wall. Since if it is reflective, it is like a mirror. Where under Feng Shui, a mirror facing a main door is not favourable since, it is considered as even before 'wealth" or qi comes into the home, it is deflected out of the home. (Under commonsense approach to Feng Shui, a highly polished granite wall -- is not favourable. Since, once we enter the home, we may --inadvertenly (while in deep thoughts) see an "image"…

Hi Anon, Our system uses western date and time of birth as the input parameters. It will convert the western dob into lunar calendar for analysis. You will need to use the western dob to use our analysis. Based on your lunar calendar 21 day, 4th month, 1974, your western dob is either 12 May 1974 or 11 May 1974. Depending on whether you are born on the 1st 4th (Big Moon) month or the 2nd 4th (Small Moon) month. This is because that year has an intercalary lunar month. So there are two 4th months. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research

Dear Dominique, 1. The key success factor is all about `balance'. 2. Under the Five Elements concept; balance is important. 3. Under the higher form i.e. Yin and Yang, balance is equally important. 4. Even in our daily lives, balance is good. 5. Thus it does not necessarily mean that placing dozens of six coins would mean that it is good. It can instead become an `over-kill'. 6. When determining e.g. a `cure' under Flying Star Feng Shui, we need to look at the strength or balance at a specific sector. Often, we need only 1 set of six coins at a specific sector. 7. If the situation demands another stronger cure, than it is better to use the next best alternative. 8. For …

Dear Al, Please see below:- Please note that Eight House cannot be used as a cure as the Eight house does not relate to the Five Elements Concept. There need not necessary be a cure for devil's gate. As mentioned earlier, the Eight House cannot be used to implement changes or `cure' imbalances. Although you have mentioned the #2 and #5 as base numbers, I have also mentioned that #2 and #5 relating to water and mountain star has to be considered. And this has to be analysed in relation to each other. Without, the full picture, and what are the imbalances at each sector, I am really unable to properly advise you. It is not advisable to use Gua (Kua numbers) / E…
