Dear Masters, I would like to find out if there is any way I can activate a pearl string formation of my flat if the external landforms don't support. Fengshui teachers say that real mountains and water bodies are required before the pearl string can be activated. Since I can't see any of these landforms around the vicinity, does that mean nothing can be done to harness the benefits of a pearl string formation? Thank you sincerely in advance for your advice.

Good day Master, I have a few questions to seek your advise. 1. My home has "two" entrances. Based on feng shui, which one should be consider my "entrance" 2. At the first main entrance, my main door is partially blocked by my neighbour home. What should I do to make more Sheng Qi ? I understood that right angle from the wall causes Sha Qi? In this case, my neighbour home has a 90deg wall pointing at my entrance. 3. From my living room, i can see opposite block roof corner. What is good to fix this Sha Qi? I've attached picture for your help Master. Thanks a million.

Hi master, I'm looking at an apartment with street number 106/38 (unit 106, on 38 _____ street). However, in the strata report, it is named "lot 141." This number is only visible on the storage cage and in strata considerations. Do I need to consider this number at all? Kindest regards and many thanks in advance.

Hi, is it okay for the guest room door to face the door of the powder room? The guest room door is a camouflage door so it will look like one of the wall. The guest room is for my parents to come stay occasionally. Or can i move the guest room door a few centimetres to the right so it will not straight facing each other? If i can move it, how many centimetres at least is good? Thank you

Hi Master Lee My house has three doors in a straight line. The first door is the main door and is the biggest door. The 2nd door is the middle door and opening to the open concept kitchen, dinning and living room. The 3rd door is the sliding door and opening to our big backyard. I attached our floor plan below. We have an option to convert the 3rd sliding door to sliding window. Would this do any better in term of energy flowing? Please help. Warmest regards, Channa

Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: Am in a dilemma. Is it strongly discouraged for the couple who is marrying at a later time of the year to attend the first couple's wedding so as to avoid bad luck? If a wedding has to be take place within 6-months to 1 year, then it is best that both couples do not attend each other wedding. This is to avoid either couples from any inauspicious influence. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research

Frankly, in my opinion, the "enclosed" court yard even in Singapore is common place. One of the oldest is People's Park Complex which even has three air-wells. (The high-rise dwellings built around the late 1970's is just directly above the words "People's Park FC" (FC= Food Centre):- There are som many other examples. And I simply took a random sample...

Dear Simon, The following are points to consider on the display of ornamental Japanese swords:- 1. Like any other swords, it should not face the main entrance door. 2. It should be displayed with the protective sword casing even if the sword is blunt. 3. Ideally, it should be displayed in a display cabinet. 4. The best location to display the ornamental sword is in a `separate' room. For example, in a private office, a `person' room . 5. Avoid displaying it in the living room, dining room, family room. As mentioned above, it should be in a " private " room. If it is displayed under para 5 above, there may be a possibility of relationship problems. Finally, in my opinion…

Dear Chris, There are two considerations under "Feng Shui" i.e. 1. Symbolism under Shapes and Forms FS 2. Commonsense approach to Feng Shui 1. Under Symbolism in Feng Shui, it is considered a disadvantage to have a knife or sword hanging or placed or displayed in the living room. As this is symbolic of quarrels or disharmony. 2. Under Commonsense approach Just like guns with live bullets lying in the home. This can be assessed wrongly by young children or a parent or family member who is quick tempered or used by intruders into a home. Generally, as you had mentioned, it is best to keep or display the sword in a specific room e.g. your study room. And if possible, …

Is the concept of Feng Shui applicable to rental properties? Dear Cecil, This house that I'm very interested in buying as a rental property, is in a great location and the price is right. What has been keeping me from making an offer is that this house faces North which is my "Disaster" direction. I'm also a Strong Water. I would never buy a North facing house to live in, but will I get BAD luck if I buy it to rent out to other people? Thank you! Hoa

In my opinion, no one has ever done so. Do take extra care when using an ordinary compass. As often, there are lots of "hidden" re-bar that can cause the compass readings on such a compass to deviate by alot. Often, try to stand on a grass area (but then again) and take several readings (if possible). Sometimes even grass patches have metal embedded below it thus again may cause the readings to deviate.

Hello Cecil, I live in a 2 storey house. My garage is part of the construction of the house. Do I count the garage in my flying star/xuan kong map for the main floor? My bedroom is above the garage on the second floor. Which floor do I use to do the flying star grid? Do I use both and put cures on both floors? Thank you.

In general, technically, it also depends on whether one is an east or west group person.
