Dear Cecil, Thank you so much for taking time to reply my queries. We have considered your suggestion of shifting the bed to opposite side of the room. This may be too costly for us at the moment since on the opposite side of the room we have some fixed (built-in) wardrobe and shelves, if you have noticed from my drawing. We would have to hire carpenters to rebuild these wardrobes if we were to shift them because they were initially built with the intention of covering the unsightly almost-one-foot beam on whole stretch of this wall. In my previous e-mail, I mentioned the possibility of shifting the bed to the wall adjacent to the toilet wall, the other only available wal…

Further to the earlier message, this combination of stars is pretty interesting:- If Moutain Star #2 and Water Star #7, the significance is:- "Enjoy good wealth during period 7. However, great wealth will result in possible romance. Beware of someone using kindness or romance to cheat you of your wealth." Dear Master Lee, Thank you so much for your detail explanation. Robert Lee wrote: You see in our website when we define a house facing East means that main door (for 2nd-7th level) orliving room (8th and up) is actually facing East. I have yet to find out from your website with regards to main door (2nd-7th level) or Living Room (8th and up). i will go thru in details later, just to confirm if the flat i am buying is at 8th level and up, i should be looking at the living room facing but not the main door facing? Hope to hear from you soon and have a nice day.

Dear Anon, In my opinion both cases you had mentioned below are non-issues especially for the fire hydrant. As often, it is quite low and does not pose any "poison-arrow" issues. In fact, from a non-Feng Shui point of view, this is often a blessing in disguise as it is right in-front of one's home As for the electricity sub-station, there is also no issue since it is quite a distance away. And often, even if one lives close to one, there is no known bad effects from it. Warmest Regards, Cecil

These are some considerations: 1. Several factors should be considered regarding home design and plumbing. Primarily, it relates to common sense, which Feng Shui principles often reflect. 2. It is not uncommon for homes to have a toilet situated directly above a kitchen. 3. However, a significant concern arises when sewerage pipes are positioned directly above cooking areas or places where food and drinking water are prepared or stored. 4. The rationale is clear: if a sewerage pipe were to leak, gravity would facilitate the flow of contaminants. 5. In some cases, homeowners have no alternative but to have sewerage pipes located above their sto…

Dear Anthony, Each person ba zi is unique. When what stars occurs will have different influence an impact. So not possible to just explain what each influence will be as each stars also have to depends in the Heavenly Stem and Earthly Branches of each pillar. Generally, for such stars, the most useful of which are the Nobleman, Arts, Academicstars which are what most people will look for to tell you if a person is very fortunate or not. This is because, the presence of such stars especially nobleman will mean that this person is extremely fortunate as no matter what happens always people will be around to help him/her when in need. Some of the other stars such as death…

1. The smart, gets good advise the first time they search for a new home. They do it once, RIGHT, that's all. And the smart goes to concentrate on better things to do! 2. The ignorant, buys the home and then pays Feng Shui emporiums to stock their homes with rubbish products. 3. The ignorant, also asks Geomancers for first-aid in the form of "pasting elastoplast" all over their "leaking" home. So which is more important? Invest in advise to purchase a good home? Or wait until the home is purchased before calling a Geomancer to apply first-aid to resuccitate the home?

Dear Anon, 1. Looking into past practises; it is popular for the Cantonese (dialect group of the Chinese) to place a wall mirror facing their dining table. The Cantonese felt that having a mirror in this postion would be "auspicious" as food on the dining table can be "doubled" with the mirror image. 2.For interior designers,a large mirror is often recommended as most of us are aware of to create an illusion of depth orseemingly make the home look larger. 3. To be honest, having a mirror behind the sofa is often, less than idealalthough it can still be done or still acceptable. However, for practical reasons, if thesofa-head-rest is too close to the mirror, often,w…

Dear James, Thanks for providing a description of your home. Overall, if I get what you wrote correctly, the water is on the `East' side (front) of your home. Are there any windows on this side of the house facing the pool? If you are applying the 5 elements concept, it would not be the most important principle relating to this situation. The Four Symbolic Animal theory http://www.geomancy.net/fs/four.htm take precedence over this theory. What you have is something like a pool of water which is equivalent of the `Bird' or Red Phoenix of the Four Symbolic Animal Theory where, this is good because normally when there is water on the ground, the `view is unhindered'. I…

Dear Charlles, Frankly, auspicious date services aren't a free service that we provide. Itit s avalue added services we provide for our fullfeng shui audit services or a paid services on its own. However, it seems that there are many users who keep posting such questions in our advise forum where we cannot reply simply because in order to check dates many additional information is required. Anyway, for the benefit of all users, I have specially created a 30-days Auspicious Date Analysis report users to check out themselves:- URL: http://www.geomancy.net/reports/free-report/freerpt-dateboth.htm The only limitation is that is that it allows users to analyse only 30 days…

Dear Jon, The purpose of the Eight House Theory is to find a suitable house for 1. the breadwinner 2. locate suitable rooms especailly the bedroom for the wife, children and other family members. Therefore, when you look at a house, you could use a transparency and superimpose each family members good and bad directions over it. When you use the template, you can see cleary which rooms are good for which member of the family. Ideally, avoid having the death or disaster line of any family member falling within their bedroom and for the bread winner avoid having the death or disaster line flowing through it. Warmest Regards, Cecil Lee -----Original Message----- From: Listma…

Is the SW direction good for water features for period 8 or is it for 2008 only? I'm quite afraid that I mightposition the water feature wrongly in the SW which is facing my main door and then tapping bad energy instead of good luck. Can I place it onthe east side of my living room, facing the windows but next to the Kuan Yin altar instead? Is this good for period 8 or this year only?

1. As far as Chinese beliefs are concerned, so long as this is not the bed that one conceived the baby, then it is fine or OK. 2. Thus, if conception is on this bed - even thou it is not the master bed, then, better play safe and not move it. 3. In addition, you should not be around to see the removal of this bed. 4. Also make sure to take note of this year's bad sectors:- Sickness Star this year is at West Misfortune/Sickness Star this year is at North Disputes/Quarrel Star this year is at North-East Education/Romance Star this year is at South Grand Duke this year is North-North-East, 30 Degree. 5. In particular, AVOID renovating the specific bedroom if it fal…

Thanks for the photo It is good that you had taken a correct photo: and this photo is very clear-cut. The good news is: no threat to any home. The position of the lamp post is Feng Shui friendly. And the electric box is kinda of "pussy kitten". Totally no threat at all to either of the home. Frankly, all homes will have an such a ELCB box. And it is about the flow of electricity and some magnetism. Frankly, in the US, the voltage is only 110v .While those in the UK or former British Commonwealth uses 220 to 240 volts. If one were to be fried by the voltage, we in the commonwealth e.g. Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia will be the first to be so. Therefore US, 110 v is consi…

Dear John, 1. There is a difference between favourable colour(s) and wealth element colour. 2. Thus for a Strong Metal person:- 2.1 Favourable element/colours: Water (blue/black/grey), Fire (red), wood (green/brown). 2.2 Unfavourable element/colour: Earth 9yellow), metal (white/gold). 3. Wealth element/colour: Wood (green/brown). Thus if one notice carefully, the wealth element colour is one of the favourable colours for the person. The difference here is that under the destructive sequence (reference url: http://www.geomancy.net/resources/theories/fs-5element.htm ) 4. Since the person is a Strong Metal, the Strong Metal can be used to destroy Wood. The end result is what…

Frankly, look at it this way, you are there to take a reading and you did say that your reading of the facade was something like S1. I have already mentioned my views on tilting a door e.g. from S1 to S2. Overall; no geomancer is on the ground. Thus, the ball is on your court. If your reading is accurate; fine. But if it is G.I.G.O. then really.. (full stop) P.S. For new members; what is G.I.G.O. can be found under this sample link:- http://forum.geomancy.net/phpforum/article.php?bid=2&fid=1&mid=27534&new=

Dear Randy, I just came across this message under the conference: Like to share your Experiences (in this forum): ---- cut and pasted message--- Dear forum members, I would like to share my feng shui nightmare with you. Since I want to warn other members not to install water features with out first doing a pillar of destiny chart and flying star chart. Last year I installed a water fountain outside my house and installed a fish tank inside and lots of other cures on the advise of the BTB feng shui consultant. And need less to say it was disastrous. I lost my job got involved in a accident and developed severe health problems and financial problems. So instead of removing …
