Hi, I have just bought a house with a land shape of a right angled trapezium. The back of the house is where the slant of the trapezium is. Is a land shaped like this a bad feng shui? Is there any remedy to it?

Just imagine the road "slicing" towards the development. Thus, it is still better to avoid selecting units closest to the main road. Of course, factors like type of trees and distance from the road are other considerations. The most important consideration is cars entering the development. And always, the specific stack facing the entrance often has poor Feng Shui. Recently, I was looking at various developments and e.g. the BoatHouse, there is one stack at or next to the entrance : the ground unit with PES was still available (unsold - yet). Personally, this development reminds me of Meadows@Peirce; where personally, the entrance for this development is along the major…

Dear Master Cecil We are renovating my HDB four room flat which we have stayed in for more than 10 years. Recently the contractor came, measure everywhere and ask me how deep I want the cabinets to be. Can I ask if there are any auspicious numbers or numbers I should avoid in general? for eg he said shoe cabinet, actually anything from 37 to 40 is ok. But since that will determine the depth of cabinet for the whole wall, I just want to do it corrects… The other side, it will be 25-30cm, again is there any auspicious or inauspicious numbers to avoid? regarding the lying of vinyl tiles, I read from you earlier it should be parallel to the doorway, but i…

1. As far as Chinese beliefs are concerned, so long as this is not the bed that one conceived the baby, then it is fine or OK. 2. Thus, if conception is on this bed - even thou it is not the master bed, then, better play safe and not move it. 3. In addition, you should not be around to see the removal of this bed. 4. Also make sure to take note of this year's bad sectors:- Sickness Star this year is at West Misfortune/Sickness Star this year is at North Disputes/Quarrel Star this year is at North-East Education/Romance Star this year is at South Grand Duke this year is North-North-East, 30 Degree. 5. In particular, AVOID renovating the specific bedroom if it fal…

Hi! Good day! Is a sewer pipe, in the attached photo, running in the ceiling (will be concealed with a wooden plyboard), a bad position or placement in Feng Shui? The bed will be placed below it, though not directly. Please advise? Thanks a lot!

Dear Cavas, Cavas Panthaky wrote: When measuring the direction a house faces, does one take the magnetic variation into consideration? If you havegood compass with magnetic shielding to prevent interference. Those reading will usually not be affected too much by other influence from the house or building structure. If not like the earlier post, take a few readings. Especially take one which is on a clear space slightly away from your home. See if there are any deviation from that reading and the one taken at your home. The one furthers away from any major building or power lines will tend to give you a good reading to check against any deviation. Hope that helps. War…

Hi Cecil, First I wanted to thank you for the incredible wealth of information and guidance you publish on your site. I might say this is the best source of Feng Shui information I have found on the internet. I also really appreciate your modern common sense interpretations of the concept of facing. Due to this - I tried to do my own DIY assessment using a combination of the different schools. Our home is being built and move in date will be mid-2024 so I use period 9 facing SE2 for Flying star. I have a couple of questions I hope you might offer some of your expertise on. I’m trying to ask them in a way that might also be useful for other people on the for…

1. In my opinion; other than the colour and colour-tones in your illustration; 2. No. THREE would have the least "adverse" comments. 3. As I had mentioned previously, often in many situations; it has more to do with people's taste and how much adverse comments (if any). 4. Technically, no. will often not have any adverse comments. 5. The most subjective would therefore be no. ONE. 6. Again, there is no right or wrong answers, here.

Dear Master Lee, could I please ask for the following advice about these stars? If the entrance has this combination stars (west entrance), what to do? If the master bedroom (west location, above entrance) has these stars, in combination, what to do? How bad is this and is there a way to solve this? Many thanks, Mel

Other considerations can be found at this link: http://forum.geomancy.net/resources/art/art-under.htm For example, it is never advisable to place a bed directly above a sewerage pipe. Thank you for sharing your picture. Honestly, in an ideal world, there wouldn’t be any sewer pipes, junctions, or manholes at all. However, in reality, especially in Singapore and many other countries, sewer manholes are often located at the front or back of the home. We have no choice, as these are determined by the developer. It would, of course, be better if they ran behind the home. In practice, please check how the sewerage pipe runs into your home. Ideally, i…
