On-site or Off-site House Hunting / Can or Cannot Buy: Further consideration: 1. There is no such thing as a perfect home, unless you build one yourself. 2. "Strike while the iron is hot." For condos, it is usually best to buy newly launched units. Leftover units are rarely that good—you seldom find a hidden gem among them. 3. For Housing Board flats, I understand that selection often depends on your queue number. With a longer queue, you may only have a choice of leftover units or "scraps." 4. You can also refer to our apartment number report to see which units within each stack are better, such as level 3 compared to levels 4 or 5, under our …

These areuseful considerations:- 1. A home even with Quantum Leap in Feng Shui; don't need to be so specific in it's measurements. 2. An average home, even if it's measurements are "perfect" in every "Ruler" way ain't going to help. 2.1. This is similar to a boy racer trying to add modifications to his boy-racing honda civic car! 2.2. If one wants to have the best racing car .. go buy a super-car, please. 3. Don't want to be seen.. participating in and get implied that I am with this everything "Ruler" thing...

Dear Mark, Firstly, East (Green Dragon) domain Logically East is the location of the rising sun and thus a Yang location. The Green Dragon is considered the most Yang of all Feng Shui animals. It is encouraged that plants can be grown here. West (White Tiger) domain The White is considered the most Yin of all Feng Shui animals. It is considered courageous and noble animal. It is also seen by many FS practioners as a fierce and determined animal. How can it be noble and yet `fierce.' One reason is that it is located at a Yin location and Yin refers to the `dead' and is considered not as favourable as the EAST or `rising sun' location. 3. Under the Landscape School of Feng…

1. Feng Shui is a holistic approach and it is about maximising a home's qi. 2. No; practise the Heaven side is located at NW and not at North.

Dear Hoa, In my opinion, what you had described; on it's own may not be considered as a change of the house period. Imagine this: it is akin to a person, changing his/her skin and yet the mouth e.g. (main entrance doors) remains untouched. Warmest Regards, Cecil Quote: Hoa Luong wrote: Not just the glass, but all the frames were replaced also. Basically, I got all new windows including frames and glass (all 14 of them). Does this change the house period?

Appended by Cecil: A photo tells a thousand words. Text and more text... hmmm.. The opening (walking into the cube) is not in direct line of hallway/clear glass conference room. Is the opening we want to refer to in Feng Shui the one we step through into the space? The hall and the clear glass conference room hits the side of my face (partially blocked by cube wall/ computer monitor).

Bear in my that when we approach such questions Often many of the situations, it may or might be based on "commonsense". For example, a reason why the stove should not be facing say a kitchen door entrance is e.g. when one is cooking, one's back is against the kitchen entrance, since all of us dn't have eyes behind our head, it was felt that one may be caaught unawares, in this instance. The other reason is under "symbolism". Here, it is best to avoid having a stove face a bedroom door. If the stove faces a kitchen door but does not face a bedroom door, this is considered the lesser of the two evils as compared to a stove below a beam, unless this beam is "covered" …

Dear Robert Lee, Thank you for the advice. I also have studyed a few books and websites and togheter I came with a basic design. However there are a few questions I still have and then I think I can start. 1) do i need to use the compas for obtaining the north? some books refer to not use the compas but to look at the entrance of the house from the centre of the garden. The left is always east (dragon) and the right is west (metal). This makes also the back of the garden always north. What is best to be used? compas are face... 2) My terras is in square form, how can i get rid of de bad vibes? 3) water is placed agaist the terras, this is not a problem? Also i…

Dear Anon, Apologies, as I do not give the idea of spending too much time replying to this question. But I forgot to mentioned an important point. If this is modern practise especially by Western practitioners who may not be too familiar with the Double Happiness symbol, it would be best, at least, if one display the symbol of a heart to (instead display DOUBLE Hearts) i.e. One heart can be placed overlap (half-way) over the other heart. Like the equivalent of the Double Happiness symbol, at least `LOVE' should come in a pair. I wonder, if some unfortunate souls, could have just placed a single heart and symbolically .. imply.. a lonely heart. Warmest Regards, Cecil

There are three kinds of luck or known as the Holy Trinity of luck: 1. Heaven Luck: born with 2. Earth Luck or Feng Shui 3. Human or manluck: such as relations and feelings As you can see above, having a tattoo has nothing to do with Feng Shui. More likely, it has to do with above: Para 3. Human & man..... Thus more important is yourself: if u feel good about it sort of thing. As Feng shui as shown has nothing to do with it.

Generally, the logo is OK. Except for the following advice:- It would be good if the big star does not have a "pointed arrow" aimed at the letter N. The pointed star should (if possible) be raised slightly higher. Otherwise, it looks OK to me.

Further to what I mentioned earlier, attached please find an illustration (top-view) of the placement of a water position. For the water positon:- 1. Best to avoid ambiguous objects such as a fish with an open mouth and or a frog with an open mouth facing inwards of such a house. Here, this is inauspicious since, such open mouths implies a `hungry fish or frog' that sucks in your already depleted wealth leading to ultimate calamity. 2. If possible, the water feature should have all five elements if possible:- Metal element: circular bowl represents the metal element or a circular ball spouting out water Water element: Needless to say, this is the actual water used in the…

Dear Serina, Quote: Thanks again for your advises. In the six months since I bought my new-blue car, it was once broken-into by a thief, twice being damaged in the carpark and one recent collision with another car. I questioned about the colour of the car after reading your "Free Personal Ba Zi" which stated that Blue isone of the unfavourable element for a weak Metal. Generally, when luck isn't favouring you espeically from a few different areas (ie your ba zi luck, house luck etc). Such issues will occur. This is what we call compounded effect of the bad or unfavourable luck. As such, it means that you need to enhance as much of other areas in order to balance up …

Interestingly, "Chinese Lucky Cats" actually originate from Japan. LOL Dear Anita, The idea is primarily rooted in belief rather than being firmly established in Feng Shui principles. Notably, "Chinese Lucky Cats" actually have their origins in Japan. Generally, sizable figurines are situated on the floor to serve as "guardians" at entrances or alongside staircases. They ought to be oriented outward, directed towards the outside of the home, rather than facing inward. For example, they may be positioned on one side of the house, directed towards a series of sliding glass doors, thereby effectively "guarding" the residence. It is recommended to avo…

Hi, Usually, books do mention that good locations for water positions are at the North (because it `belongs' to the water element), East and SE (Wood) which is considered in `harmony' with water position. However, another way of looking at it is that this is a " novice method " at looking into relationships i.e. water with North, East and SE. For the exterior of the home, one should seriously consider the Four Symbolic Animals concept. Avoid at any costs to place the water position behind the house. It is best for the water position to be in front of the house. Since you enjoy the water position with the unique mermaid statue in the SW garden, you should continue to leav…

dear forum memeber, At the outset ,we should say thanks to Mr.cecill and robert for providing world wide fengshui web site and sharing of various views and topics among, our forum members.I once again sincerely appreciate their support and co operation. While refering to your e mail dtd 14-JUN-99,I wish to suggest the following for the placement of elephant faced objects. a}This type of objects could help us, if place it, at the intersecting points of inside walls of the premises as well as out side.i.e which acts as secret dagor. b}This could be also kept in living rooms in which idol should face opposite to the door entrance or diagonaly depends upon the situatio…
