Dear Users, I am pleased to inform you that almost all the major components making Pillars of Destiny v7.10 possible are completed. I have been rather busy improving the site for your benefit! I had done a major internal re-coding of the Pillars of Destiny Core modules and have put it up for testing under v7.20 beta under the Pillars of Destiny report. What's new? 1. Major revision done to the way data is stored and retrieved. Thus, a faster generation of report. 2. Now you will be enjoying 120 years of luck pillar analysis instead of 80 years. I remember some of you asking what happens after 80 years, so have extended it to 120 year which should cover the longest life span of everybody. 3. New revision allows more flexibility in providing even more accurate analysis incorporating multiple, compounded, & cross- analysis with other components on a particular portion of the analysis. 4. The display template was broken down so that you get to see the report generated in small sections rather then waiting for the entire report to be completed before you can read the details. This is necessary for several new enhancements, house of conception, house of life, 2-yearly season, 12 season's growth, the deathly punishment clashes, improved luck pillars analysis and lots more! Several of these components are ready, but still undergoing some testing and will be launched once everything test out ok. Dear Jason, You many need to double check if you selected weak earth. And for that module because the changes is very minor, sometimes you may be viewing the cached version either at your ISPs proxy server or your browsers cache, just refresh the page and you should be able to solve this problem. Basically, the first portion of the report tells you the inter-relationship between the other elements and your main element. The next portion tells you the detailed elements which are favourable or unfavourable to you. The table at the bottom of the report will provide some examples, as this portion is pretty complex, it will not provide every possible relationship instead provide common items so that you can relate the report. How to use them? There are often several alternatives to a cure, for example weak wood, you can use water to help your weak wood directly, or use earth to destroy the metal which is destroying you. Sometimes, you may find that especially when you have another family member with you, certain cure say water may indirectly harm your member, so you may want to consider using another cure such as Earth. Once you know what element you want to use, then refer to the table for a slightly better understanding of what objects are considered as that elements. For Feng Shui, nearly any objects at home can be used as cures. It does not necessary have to specially purchased or made. Remember for cures, symbolic represents in terms of shape is quite important, then followed by the color. To all users, Since it was pointed out by Jerry, I would like to share with you the interesting information on how the Geomancy Logo (red bagua) was designed. When I designed it, I wanted it to be Feng Shui Friendly or the term is also called " White Feng Shui ". The bagua logo was based on the Fu Xi First Heaven Sequence Bagua htp://www.geomancy.net/fs/pakua.htm The First Heaven Sequence Bagua is a perfect model bagua that is used to place above a main entrance door to ward off sha qi (posion arrows). Under our teaching materials, it placed in a South to North model. And in order to activate the bagua it has to placed as South to North. However, for our webpage logo, we do not want the this bagua sequence to be " activated " when users view our website. We therefore, rotated it 180 degrees so that it conforms to the North to South model, and it not activated when the logo is displayed on the screen or printed out. The North to South model is also unique because when Cecil started his website, it was the first website about Feng Shui on the internet and the Eight house model which he had created was also North to South model making simple to relate to the ordinary compass. Dear Glyn, Please read below:- Nope it is not necessary. Whether or not is good or bad, it depends on additional compounded influence. For example, even if he is travelling in his bad direction (which everyone will do so sometime or other). It is the influences of that trip that makes the difference. For example this person is a weak wood, but his friends with him are weak water etc, they are heading for the mountain (with nature - wood, earth). His direction is travelling say West (Metal) which is unfavourable, but that along is not significant enough for any inauspicious or unhappy influence. Rather if his friends he is travelling is Strong Metal and maybe Strong Fire, and he is travelling West (Metal) in maybe a car. And it happens that his day is also in an unfavourable element. Yes, that has significantly sufficient compounded influence to result is possible some accident etc. As mentioned, it is the matter of compounded influence from the person's pillars, people around the person, favourable month, day, hour? Etc. As you know the influence is constantly shifting which is why it is not easy to determine such scenarios. But generally from my various case studies, the common thing which I saw is:- 1. Normally they are in their unfavourable 10-year or 5-year period. 2. There is either too much unbalance in favour of the unfavourable element. 3. Clashes in elements (Especially unfavourable clashes) 4. Combination resulting in lost of favourable element or creating the unfavourable situation) 5. Year, Month & Day normally in their worst period. 6. Triggered normally by travelling or doing something which is represented by the unfavourable element. Hi, It is not possible to predict time of death accurately unless you want to do a full detailed case study of a person for every year, month, day and hour? At best most Masters would do is give a general prediction of good or bad events. Do you know when would you encounter "Death"? It is encountered when very likely the 10-year period has a warning that you are unfavourable to that period. Remember a directional influence in the 10-yearly chart, if you ignore that and persist in travelling towards the direction of your unfavourable influence. That would again unfavourable influence towards you. In addition, if the annual luck is against you, or if there are any clashes or combinations which occurs in that year, that changes your elements to that of unfavourable. In addition, if you do not favour your current month or day, these compounded influence when added together is what is likely to cause death. Thus, you see it is not really possible for any one to be able to predict the time of death, because what's stated in the chart can only tell that much. It is also the result of what actions or what course of events the person decides to take that will influence his life. I have yet gotten much chance nor the time to do analyse the recent death of the JFK Jnr. But according to my brief browsing of his charts, he is a person who encounters many unfortunate incidents in his life. This 10-year period which he is in is again his bad period and if I am not wrong, the direction which he was travelling happens to be his unfavourable element. In addition, he was a person who is of weak fire, which means that Water and Metal are bad for him. Furthermore, he was in a plane (Metal), and flying over "Water" towards his unfavourable element direction. So a series of unfavourable element with him and his choice of path looks bad for him. Thus, to predict such event to the actual time is pretty difficult. But once it happen, anyone can look and analyse the effects putting two and two together to explain the cause. In any case, my point to this is that, Pillars can only emphasis or point out to your Elements in relation to the current environment. If you choose to go against it, then you are looking for trouble. It will be nearly impossible to predict how a person does without relating to their external environment. Double Earthly Branches Combination 4. Double Heavenly Stem Combination As you have noticed these combination were previously present in the analysis of the main pillars, we have updated it to analyse Combinations that occur between the Pillars and the Luck Pillars. This is a complex module to add in which took us some time to come up with a "smart" coding for interfacing combination into the luck pillars analysis. This portion also analysis every possible pillar with the luck pillar. In the new version, we have succeeding in automatically adding the final combination analysis into the reading of each Luck Pillars analysis. This allows you to be able to have an even more accurate reading of the luck pillars. When Combination in the Pillars takes place the elements of the affected pillars will also change to conform with the new element that is formed by the combination for that entire period. This means that if a day pillar (Fire), month pillar (Water), and luck pillar (Earth) is a triple combination, this changes the elements in the day, month and luck pillar to say (Wood). Then the influence of these element is thus, Wood and not Earth. These changes are also added into the Yearly analysis. Annual Analysis =============== We now also provide you with the anlaysis of the Heavenly Stem for the Annual Analysis. Usually for the 10-year period, the heavenly stem takes the first 5-year and the earthly branch takes the next 5-years, but in the yearly chart. Dear Rose, No, that is not true. Remember the analysis is states that he is a weak water, and he would be trouble by the many wealth? The additional external factor we added was due to his job being water, metal combinations, thus he was able to enjoy the great wealth and power. This was also as suggested by the analysis. In addition, he started his career in the time when he was very auspicious. These two key points are his turning point in time. If he started a little later, he may not enjoy that great of a success. Hi, Feng Shui is a wide topic, with many different western translators providing many different terms for a same topic. I believe if you are referring to balance, it should be more towards the Five Elements or at least Yin or Yang. Basically, for Five Elements, when you have one of each of the five elements you are supposed to be in a stated of balance which is "neutral". Five Element is very special, on the under the production principle:- Production Metal -> Water -> Wood -> Fire -> Earth -> Metal At the same time, when you have all Five Elements the destruction principle:- Metal -> Wood -> Earth -> Water -> Fire -> Metal It is a very special relationship that helps, destroys and control another. When you have all the elements you are normally in a state of balance which the elements will help each other to keep them in balance. For example:- Wood produces Fire, which in turns produces Earth. In this three element relationship. Fire helps to control wood by weakening it. Thus, Wood is a little weak to destroy Earth. Also, Earth gains further strengths from Fire, to help produce the next element which is Metal. If you are referring to the Yin and Yang, yin and yang is always present in any object. However, it is difficult to strike a balance because, often there is either more yin and less yang or more yang and less yin. However, there is a very special relationship because when there is all yang, it is also considered as yin because the Yin and Yang is a special relationship which goes from Less Yang to More Yang, then to Less Yin to More Yin. When you are in balance or neutral is when you have equal Yang and equal Yin working together in harmony. In general neutral is always about balance, and in Feng Shui everything we normally talk about is about bringing the two different forces of Yin and Yang or the Five Elements into a state of balance. When you can do that you will often benefit from it because that is the point where you get the best from all elements. I am not sure if that is what you are referring to the theory of neutrality, but since you mentioned that it is about balance. Yin & Yang and Five Elements are two most frequently related to this topic. Hi, Please read below:- No, you cannot. Pillars or any other theories do have their own sets of limitations. You cannot tell from a Pillars whether they will make a good husband or not. In fact I don't think there is any such tools can do so. Pillars can only deduce a person's destiny - meaning tell you what you can expect in your lifes, the element you belong to etc. Knowing this can be very beneficial for you because you can improve your life by making sure you follow your favourable elements. There are some that tells a little bit of characteristics, but for characteristics I find that the Personal Star which uses Chinese Astrology based on a Three Lives theory is better at it. Which was why I added that as bonus report. Although the current version only checks on 3 areas, but I do find that the analysis is pretty accurate. Hi, Please read below:- It is not right for us to examine someone's future and spreading details about their future unless they expressly permits us. As for analysising past events, these events that we analyse are based on information usually made known to others by their own biography. What we are doing is just like a historian tracing what actually caused the incidents or success in a Feng Shui perspective. But, I think you can get the picture now that Pillars of Destiny unlike Astrology does have its "fascinating" fortune telling abilities which is pretty accurate. I won't say that everything analysed would happen but generally it does appear that way. Especially when you take the environment as a constant. But in reality, environment is always changing so the predicted results can sometimes be altered by events happening around that person. And also hoe accurate also depends on how much time you want to take to analyse them and how deep you want to go into it. For all future case study analysis, we will only take into account the Pillars of Destiny Standard chart without possibly the hour of birth, but from just that chart, many of you can see the "fascinating" results of the prediction which is about at least 90% accurate for the depth of analysis. However, in order to be a little more accurate, you do have to look into their present situation and see what competitors, friends or environment they are in. Hi, Please read below:- The period which you are judging him for 1998 and 1999 is yet to complete, so no one knows for sure what is eventually going to happen. However, what you are viewing is only the Pillars of Destiny Standard version without any further details to the Yearly Analysis. From what I can tell I believe generally his company's launch of the 2000 series will be what qualifies for being "good", and the fact that he's various products are doing well, say for the Internet I would say he has succeeding in obtain lots of market share. But of course nothing is ever smooth sailing, what's good will also have some bad. Anyway I did a brief glance for his yearly charts for 1998-2002, they all fall in the range of mix-blessing and inauspicious range which is why he is facing some problems, but in a larger scale, to be fined even $1 million as compared to him earning $60 million is a small sum. The year influence on him is not very suitable for him, thus he is meet with some trouble along the way. Also Pillars can only deduce the Heavenly Luck from the birth element, that can change through the earthly influence which surround him. This includes strengthening of any competitor's element etc. Those are beyond the scope of the Pillars of Destiny. Thirdly, the chart is lacking of his hour of birth so many minor details for accuracy cannot be deduced. So in general not everything is fully analysed yet. There is a limit to how much any theory can reveal. All analysis done for person's are based on the charts itself, it does not take into account events or circumstances leading to his success. Remember, that his chart's analysis of his wealth is that he is likely to lose lots of money if he remains weak. However, for his circumstances, being with computer (metal, water) his favourable elements, he was able to control his wealth deities thus bring success. No matter how good a period, the period has different month, day, hour pillars. Even if a Year is good, that does not mean that one will not encounter any inauspicious Month. Just that the impact is lesser compared to entire year. That is why to forecast everything accurately, you need to cross check with the 10-year, 5-year, yearly, monthly, daily, even hourly, in relation to events surrounding him. Dear Joe, I would also like to add to this topic. The reason it was considered in the Flying Star, is due to Astrological reasoning that Grand Duke or Tai Sui is the largest star in which is thus supposed to have some magnetic influence over the rest. This means that it would disturb the existing magnetic influence of the sector which the Grand Duke is in. Personally, I do not see how it can really affect someone if a person offend it because of the great distance between the stars. However, as many events in the past seems to support that offending such a star has great disasters, the Chinese normally will choose to believe rather then throw it away. However, there are not many discussion in depth on this so, it is pretty hard to say which. But these are the only logical explanation for it.
