1. Imagine, if there is a signage to represent a home at a "T-Junction"; and if this sign was done up by a Geomancer; do you know how the sign would look like?

The information that you are seeking is readily available; under this link:- http://www.geomancy.net/talknotes/talknotes.htm Anonymous wrote: What Business fall under the "Earth" elements

The Tibetian mastiff dog has to be one of the oldest pure breed dogs. It can be considered as the Grand father of all dogs.... dating back to 3,000 years ago! Look at the price tag!

1. This link shows the Commonsense approach as to the rationale why some people view sleeping in a bedroom above the garage is "inauspicious":- http://forum.geomancy.net/phpforum/article.php?bid=2&fid=1&mid=10743&new=

1. Please note that there are two ways business or company LOGOs are developed: 1.1. If a business is a sole proprietor or maximium up to two partners; the ba zi of both partners or sole proprietor can be examined to determine what colour and shape the company logo should be. 1.2. In many instances, some companies in the past started from small and later on in the life of the company; it still retains the logo and colour under para 1.1 above. 2. If there are often three or more partners; then it is much harder to find a company logo based on the ba zi of the three persons. Thus often, it is recommended to select a logo (and colour) based on the industry the business is in. 3. The Five elements concept is used when determining the company logo. Business card is secondary to what the company logo is. As often the letterings are either black or grey. 4. Reference: http://talk.geomancy.net One may consider using the above link as a guide when designing a company logo.

This is an excellent article which parallel my thinking of why Geomancy.net is not on both Twitter and Facebook! I personally would not say that Facebook is over. But in my opinion, Facebook is not meant for business trying to use Facebook to conduct their business. However, Facebook would still be successful for University & many other types of Alumni and car clubs...

1. It all depends on culture. 2. Even for the Chinese; there are some differences. 3. For example, let's take Hong Kong vs Singapore. 4. Hong Kong is just below (Cantonese enclave) Guangdong, China. And much of the population are Cantonese. As such the Cantonese have a preference for things like: mirrors facing the dining table. And a well documented case of the Hong Kong and Shanghai Bank building is installed with canon figurines (although they don't fire real canons; they look like real canon's aimed at the other building). 5. Thus, in Hong Kong, they (Hong Kong people) take their Feng Shui very seriously. 6. Singapore has the largest population of overseas Hokkiens or from Fujian Province. And Taiwan, is considered by the Chinese as still part of China, they have another large population of Hokkiens. 7. In general, the Hokkiens are seen to be more "easy going" or more flexible in their approach to things like cultural traditions. You don't see canons on top of Singapore buildings aimed at another building.. Unless, a business brings in a Cantonese Geomancer and things may turn that way. 8. Thus, so long one keys the items safely under lock and key; and with the majority of the Chinese population : Hokkiens; there is much leeway in such situations. 9. Some has done what you do and more and get away with it... in Singapore...

1. Some of the considerations when buying a landed property be it already built or going to be re-built share common considerations:- http://wiki.geomancy.net/wiki/Want_to_build_your_dream_home%3F 2. Under Shapes and Forms Feng Shui:- 2.1 Majority of home should have "clear space" at the "frontage" to allow qi to "collect": this could be the garden of the home etc... 2.2 If a tall condo "blocks" your view or if your new home is within "prying" eyes of the units of the condo facing your home... many feel that it is no longer "privacy" for the home. 3. Under Flying Star, one would like to tap the Water star #8 and Mountain star #8 if it happens to be at the frontage or the back of the home. The terms used under Flying star includes : Up-mountain; down-water etc....

1. Feng Shui still favours a "more rectangular" home as in Para A. 2. Both pieces of top-view land are OK. It is unlike the front is wider and the back is narrow - this is not the case - so good. 3. Another importan consideration is drainage of the property. Usually shapes like Para 2, is often a corner unit (majority) of the time while Para A may or may not be "sandwiched by other units" next to it.

1. Firstly, "Feng Shui is not a cure all". And numerology such as house numbers have no real precedence in Feng Shui. 2. No. 4 can be considered as a double edged sword. Some of us, don't look kindly to this number but there are some who feel neutral towards the number.
-
1. Yes, symbolically; it is technically considered inauspicious to have the uncovered sword facing the main door or within the living room area. 2. Actually, there are a few people who have displayed such objects and apparently "lived-through" it. In fact, there are some who took advise from some geomancers to display a sword made up by stringing Chinese ancient coins and some have placed it in the living room. 3. Commonsense approach to Feng Shui:- 3.1 The reason why some consider it inauspicious to have such a sword in few view of "visitors" is the unlikely chance that they get hold of it and use it to their "evil" ends. 3.2 However, Para 3.1 is less often a concern. 3.3 What is more concern in the commonsense is to get an innocent child of 3 years or more and getting hold of it or injuring themselves or their siblings or family members on it. 3.4 It is like in the US, where a child gets hold of his fathers shotgun and literally play with it. 4. Otherwise, in theory, there is no other concern other than to safely lock it up if it is on display.

1. In general, the wine industry is considered as belonging to the "Water" element. Reference: http://talk.geomancy.net 2. If you are promoting the "investment" into wines; then from your company's point of view; you should be considered as belonging to the Fire element: Marketing and Sales of wine. Especially if your company's purpose is to make a profit and in your case, you most probably, you may get a commission. 3. Although the term "investment" can be found under the Metal element, in the above link, personally, I feel this "investment" is strongly associated more with the Banking industry and meant more for the investor than the person, encouraging one to invest (your job). 4. Frankly, there are no right or wrong answers. So long as you can convince another person; why you feel it is so. In addition, in the past, a butcher is a butcher; a merchant is a merchant but nowadays; many of us have to do jobs that involve "multi-skills".
