Please note that food comes directly from the earth? Correct? Practically all the food be it vegetables, animals with four legs, ampibians with two legs etc.. and anything from the earth and even from the sea ... comes from the earth. However, arestaurant is a PLACE that "collects" these ingredients and creates dishes (from scratch).

1. There are two sides of the coin, here. 2. In traditional symbolism interpretation, some of the older generation FS practitioners have written that if one keeps a (lone) horse figurine; it should be facing the main door. Here, under symbolism, it is said that this would imply that the breadwinner would have opportunities for travelling be it for business or pleasure. 3. Thus, if we use the above argument, then, check which direction the horse is galloping and see if the painting can face towards the door and "imagine that it goes out of the home". Some take this as getting the horses be it 5 or 100 - to gain "opportunities". As these horses are either wild or no one is on the saddle. 4. The above is the most common interpretation mainly by Geomancers on the way the horses should face. As firstly, the horses often are "wild" ones and as many are aware you cannot just jump onto a wild horse and ride on it. Thus, a business man often may want to have a horse painting (be it 5 or 8 or 9 or more) galloping out of their office room door to gain "opportunites" or the hope for more business networking luck etc.. 5. Some people (often not Geomancers nor Geomancer's input) felt that they want the horses to face inwards, as they felt that it is good to have horses running into "their home or office". If one does not have knowledge of the common practise as found under Para 2, 3 and 4, and if one feels good about it, then just go ahead doing so. As even a simple painting can either make one feel good or to a certain extent, a motivational tool. For many, it is just a painting. It depends on how one sees it. 6. Thus, there is no right or wrong answers, here. Sometimes it also has to do with one's upbringing or culture.

From a Chinese perspective, there are "two concerns" here:- 1. This is more relevant. Three openings especially if they are totally in-line often means wealth coming in and exiting directly. Thus, it is said that money comes and goes out immediately. It is thus good that qi should not be in a direct path especially "leaking" from one side to the other or vice versa. 2. The Chinese belief that "spirits" especially bad spirits can only go in a straight line. Thus, in many instances, you will notice that Chinese platform bridges are always "turning" 90 degrees until it reaches the final span. And equally, landscaping in a garden leading towards a door is often in an "S' curve. 3. For most of us, we are more concern with Para 1.

Are you referring to the corner of the bookcase - at an angle (poison arrow) aimed at your bed? Usually, the corner of a bookshelf is made of wood; and the approximate poison arrow is around 2 feet distance. While a full concrete wall would exert a poison arrow of 1 metre distance. Often just move the bookshelf further away if possible.

1. Please note that there are so many concepts in accessing the suitability of a home as well as how to optimise the Feng Shui of a home or apartment. 2. You are asking about the concept of the Eight House and that your house is considered unsuitable for you. 3.My best advise is:- Key Success Factors in D.I.Y. Feng Shui *The Concept of Maximizing Marks * The Concept of Feng Shui by Exception * The Customer Engineer Concept * The Three-Step-Approach * Trial & Error Vs Flying Star 4. It is best for you to understand what the Eight house concept is about and review The Three-step-approach (as mentioned above). The concept that you had "regurgitated out" has it's limitations. 5. Next, you already bought your home, stayed there already? Yes / No? If so, other than getting the earthquake to shift the main door to your correct direction or change a home if all these does not sound practical, then, check out again the above: The Concept of Maximizing Marks.

1. The professional approach is to apply Flying star Feng Shui. And the most advantages is to see especially where the water star #8 is; and if it can be activated. 2. For example, if the water star is at the living room area and a "suitable" place can be allocated for the fish tank then this is the most ideal location. In addition, in general, locations that a fish tank can be placed are locations that have water star #1 or even locations where there are bad earth e.g. if the living room location has #5 and/or #2 and /or #9. 3. Please note that Gua numbers are secondary to the above. Even if one's gua is not suited to having a water position in a home, but if say a location has been detected especially under Para 1, thenFlying Star Feng Shui superseeds the notion of using one's Gua to fit with the placement or non-placement of a water feature. 4. More resources on a water feature can be found, here:- http://fountain.geomancy.net

1. Thanks for the map. However, when I zoom in largest it shows only a straight road Morningstar Trail. And smaller zooms show a smaller road crossing or cutting this trail or something like that. 2. The first picture shows a distant set of don't know how many homes "merged" together. Frankly, all too confusing. I can't make out anything at all, please!

General observations:- 1. Rough estimate is that most of the units are of Flying Star: Period 8, NE 1 or SW1. 2. Just be careful of sharp edges from another unit (stack). For example, stack 20; may have an edge or corner that is aimed towards stack 14 (perhaps a bedroom window) or vice versa. Stack 24 with 18. 3. As usual, best not to have afternoon sun soaking into master bedroom walls or thru windows of living, bedroom(s). 4. Again, club house roof fans out creating a sha qi particularly of concern is for stack 29 (less of a concern for stack 28). Thus depending on how high the roof is, avoid having it slice towards the window level of lower floor - stack 29. 5. From a Feng Shui point of view, as all NE1 and SW1 have the very auspicious water wealth location at the "frontage", majority of the stacks facing any water feature is suppose to be very auspicious. In addition, SW1 would equally benefit with the indirect water wealth spirit - facing a water feature. (This good qi will last from now to 2023). 6. All NE1 and SW1 should be balanced as most of the units have "wealth" but health has to be "balanced" in such a NE1 or SW1 layout plan (up to 2023). 7. Please note that Blk 51 and 55, may be prone to the "swimming pool" syndrome: where constant evaporation of the swimming pool water .. due to the morning to afternoon sun, would normally evaporate the "dirty" chemical water from the pool. 8. And as block 51 and 55 are fully joined together, depending on high and low pressure zone, "wind" would often blow into stacks in these two blocks. And often, if one has very young children, they may have some respiratory issues due to the evaporated pool water coming into the home. Often, after a while, many would get used to it...

1. Under the Eight House concept, try to check whehter your son is an East or West group. And depending on his being East or West; thus if he is an East group person, then in general the bedroom at south could be a better choice. 2. In addition, it is nice-to-have him facing a good direction when studying. Free reports are available, here http://www.geomancy.net/reports/reports.htm 3. Other considerations may include having just moved-in and perhaps, may take him sometime to adjust to his new home environment. 4. And yeah, the greatest distraction are: both TVs and playing computer games... These are the two "killers" in this modern age... that works against a child's progress! (Especially computer gaming). Lara M. wrote: Hi Master Lee, My house is a period 8 house and it faces 320 degrees NW. since we moved in, my son's (he is 15) grade has slipped drastically. His bedroom is in the North corner of the house. is there a way to cure it or I need to move him into another bedroom. We have a spare bedroom in NW and South corner of the house. Regards, LG
