In my opinion, both of the industries should be "wood" element. Anonymous wrote: I am a counsellor and a hypnotherapist. What industry element do they belong to please ??

1. In general, your job function I assume would remain the same "Finance". 2. When we consider the industry; car retail is considered as belonging to the Metal industry. While Vessels transporting gas in general are also metal & water (where metal = vessels which needs to travel on water). 3. Frankly, under the Five elements concept, both are equally acceptable. As you are strong earth element person: metal helps to exhaust a strong earth person. 4. Under the "destructive" cycle, earth helps to "exhaust" water. This is where water is said to be your "wealth" element. Reference: http://www.geomancy.net/talknotes/talknotes.htm 5. Thus on "paper" and following strictly from the Five elements concept, both are technically OK. If given the ranking, then the 1st choice is the oil & gas industry (as this has both a combination of your wealth element = water and metal element). 6. While car retail is metal element. And if one is doing sales, then sales function is fire.

Flying Star are timely stars. Some activate it within the 20 Year period, some yearly, some monthly, some daily... some even hourly... Has anyone activated it every minute?

1. Generally, it is considered "a real pity" that the double auspicious #8's are "trapped - or for some - directly burned by the stove". 2. Overall, thus the gist of it is " what a pity! ". 3. The most natural thing is always good to have double auspicious #8's at the frontage e.g. the living room area - where natural flow of air (and good qi can come in). 4. One may try to activate the mountain star - but to activate a water position, is a double edged sword ina kitchen area. Hopefully, the compass cardinal points is not directly at "wealth loss" locations such as the bin (dustbin chute area) or the washing machine. It is much worse if the wealth sector is directy within the rubbish - dustbin - chute or as mentioned the washing machine. As the "shaking" of the washing machine is considered bad for "wealth luck".

1. Frankly, the number of pillars and glass is more symbolic or based on cultural preferences like Cantonese dialect group seems not to like 4 etc... 2. Other considerations include having an auspicious width of the partition. Most of the time, for government Housing Board flats, if the main door is immediately next to a side of a wall, then often, an optimium width of the partition is between 106 to 109 cm and if more exact, it could be 107 cm. Some partitions can be longer approximately 127 cm thereabouts.

1. Usually, both Shapes and Forms Feng Shui and Compass School Feng Shui is used to properly determine whether a location is suitable for the placement of a water feature. 2. Thus, it may or may not be left or right side of the door. 3. Compass School Feng Shui prominently uses Flying Star Feng Shui to detect water wealth location. While Shapes and Forms, has a bit of commonsense, as it would not be practical to have a water feature at the entrance if it blocks or hinders movement in and out of the home. 4. What you are asking is close to "trial and error" or something like - might as well as flip a coin = 5. Thus, Feng Shui is about making an analysis to determine, yes or no, left side or right side. If proper extensive Feng Shui is so easy, then .. this is not the way to do so. Paula K. wrote: What is the proper placement of a water feature in a home's foyer, to the right or left of door? Thanks

1. As this year the #5 misfortune /sickness sector is at North, it is strongly advisable to see if one can delay installation of the grille and windows until (if possible) after Chinese New Year, next year. 2. The #5 has often to do with health issues and sometimes unexpected serious accidents. 3. Hopefully that the compass readings is done correctly as this year also, Grand Duke this year is North-North-East, 30 Degree. Which is very close-by to the North sector. 4. Yes, if you really need to, select a good date for the "dong tu". Anonymous wrote: Hi Cecil, We have moved into the house 6 months ago and are intending to install grills and windows at our backyard, which is in the North sector of the house. Is it not advisable to do so? If we really have to do it, what do we need to take note of? Just select an auspicious date based on our ba zi and do the "dong tu" knock wall procedure? I have attached the floor plan for your reference. Thanks much, Jo
