1. If possible, don't see the sharp tip of the dome - slicing into any of the bedrooms especially the living room "view". Anonymous wrote: The masterbedroom window will be able to see the mosque if you look dwon from the 10th floor. In addition, the sleeping direction of the bed frame will be pointing towards the mosque. 2. Thus from a Shapes and Forms Feng Shui point of view:- 2.1 So long as the pointed dome roof is not in full view (same level as) of an opening e.g. bedroom window or living room, then this is acceptable. 2.2 Some temples are "unclean" as sometimes, a local priest may get it's permission to bring in "spirits" or some of the temples even go as far as rearing "devils" etc... 2.3 Generally, mosques are suppose to be a clean place. But it is still a depository of hope, blessings.. It is how outsiders see it. 3. Human Factor If we already don't feel comfortable; let's hope, friends, relatives or other family members don't add more salt to the "wound". 4. Many of us would consider such a unit - as alast resort if we can finda home that is away from places of worship.

These are the following assumptions:- 1. As you had not mentioned the birth chart of the apartment: if it is a Period 7: 1984 to 2003; then:- 1.1 It is disadvantages to place a water feature atyour proposed location markedin RED as "C". Depending on whether it is aSW2 or NE2 facing direction, a water feature, there may inadvertently inflame a star #3 at that sector. 1.2Especially ifit is a SW2 facing direction, then the water wealth is at marking "A". While marking B is suppose to be theauspicious indirectauspicious water wealth spirit sector. 1.3 WARNING or NOTE: 1.3.1 If the apartment is a Period 8, NE2, then best to avoid a water feature at Marking "A". While Marking B is still the auspicious indirect water wealth spirit sector. This lasts until 2023. Usually by 2021, it would lose it's effectiveness when Period 9 takes over. 1.3.2 A water position to the right side of the main door may lead to flower of romance: Especially if it is placed at markings "B" and/or "C". To minimize infidelity:- http://wiki.geomancy.net/wiki/Roving_Eyes_or_Infidelity 1.3 Overall, the above are very general observations.Best that the apartment be analysed using Flying star. As far as this is a free GENERAL advise, please don't ask more on this layout plan e.g. whether the flying star is drawn correclty etc... This is too specific for this forum. Please stick to general advice needed. 1.4 A partition can be considered within the range marking ""D. 2. You can check out this link:- 2.1 Some resources on dividers or partitions:- http://wiki.geomancy.net/wiki/Divider_or_Partitionand there are tons of resources within the forum on this subject. 2.2 What makes a good fountain:- http://wiki.geomancy.net/wiki/What_makes_a_good_Water_feature/_fountain In particular Para 2.1 to 2.12

To sort out our country's mess, we are getting Chinese astrologers to look at our illegal detainees! Why get Chinese astrologers? Why not get our own western field of astrologers? OK, the reason is because:- 1. Our western astrologers charge a bomb 2. Our western astrologers are now on strike! They want lesser work days and more pay! 3. I believe, the findings by Chinese astrologers would be more accurate and thought provoking! 4. The Chinese have 5 centuries of experience in this field. Our western astrologers belong to a young field...

1. I can only make a general comment : as considerations like the distance to the slope, exactly how far the gradient to the living room etc.. 2. For a ground unit condo unit, it is very common to have similar "landscaping". Sometimes it is a blessing in disguise as it may inadvertenly afford greater privacy for parts of the facing direction of the home e.g. next to the living room is often a bedroom etc.. 3. A picture would be an excellent choice! Someapartments have PES (personal enclosed space) and if there are railingsor wooden trellis, it would most likely cover the level of the ground.. i.e. if it is not seen ... it is "no longer a threat"... 4. What is more important are things like any tree trunks that slice towards the living room area, bedroom windows since the unit is at ground floor. 5. For club-house, usually where is the roof, as often the roof is semi-circular and more likely may slice thru a unit especially those with high ceiling be it a ground unit or 2nd or even 3rd storey. 6. More importantly, is a water position auspicious or not in relation to the position of the unit in the condo. Anonymous wrote: The living room is facing the swimming pool (on same level) , so at the same time also facing a slope , becoz this slope is the pathway that leads to the swimming pool. If i stand in the living room facing the swimming pool, this slope is higher at the left and lower at the right. Is this bad fengshui? Thanks!

1. Frankly, this cannot apply to every single home that has an empty space below it. 2. For example, if so, how about the thousands of Housing Board Flats (government HDB flats) that are scattered all over the island? Does it mean that every single owners of HDB, HUDC flats at 2nd storey will get into "deep shit?" 2.1 If we were to walk around all over Singapore, many have stayed, and are still staying at the 2nd storey flats. I don't see specifically lots of empty flats immediately above VOID decks do you? 3. It has more to do with location, location and location. 4. When the Ritz CaltonHotel was built, they seeked advice from a Feng Shui Master and the Master recommended that the hotel be on "stilts" or legs with empty space below it. The reason the master quoted was thatthis would prevent bad spirits from "coming" in to the hotel. 5. I have audited many cases and some of the owners haveupgraded to either a freehold or landed property. 6. Commonsense approach to Feng Shui Someapartments have a shelteredcar park immediately within the void deck area. And in the unlikely event that the 'car burst' into flames... -because of this, some say it is bad to have a car parked directly below say a bedroom. 7. Thus, what you had mentioned is not true to all or most homes and it depends! Anonymous wrote: Heard that in Fengshui if we get a unit (condo/flat) that has no other units below (eg. 3rd floor unit, and level 1 and 2 is empty space due to the design), the fengshui is No Good.

1. There are three major considerations if Feng Shui is applied to evaluate the new private property:- 1.1. Commonsense Approach to Feng Shui Morning and Afternoon sun is a major consideration for any home especially for countries like Singapore at or close to the equator. Majority of the time it is either the master bedroom or two bedrooms of the homes that will be "bathed" by afternoon sun. (Direct morning sun is not ideal but not as bad as afternoon sun. This forum has touched on some of the concerns of afternoon sun and it has an effect on persons living in the home. For children, their studies - the heat... 1.2. Shapes and Forms Feng Shui Location, location, location: any specific traits such as slopes, large drainage can have a huge impact on a home. Even where the drainage drains out of the home is critical! For example, most homes have three excellent drainage (and even left to right , right to left flow of drainage): two locations are wealth and the third is for power and authority i.e. can go far in politics (business or government) 1.3. Compass School Feng Shui: How suitable the home is to the breadwinner and the Flying Star Feng Shui Even for the Compass School, things like west house is not good enough. Which compass point the home is facing, or is the home very bad if it falls smack in the middle of one sector and the other.. which implies doom. Thus, it is not so simplistic to say main door faces west....... For the Compass School, eight house concept, also can take into account which bedroom is better for which family member.... This link shows a sample of what to look out for in the quest for a "dream home":- http://wiki.geomancy.net/wiki/Want_to_build_your_dream_home%3F Anonymous wrote: Im interested in a new private property. But its main door faces west. And the living room and balcony faces the East. Is west facing door a problem? Thanks

1. If you have a sketch, it would be better! 2. Overall, so long as the spiral staircase is not facing the main entrance door directly, this is a plus point. 3. Is the steps for the spiral staircase fully covered or it is one "plank" onto another "plank" with open spaces in-between.

Yes, for practical reasons, the clue here is "my resale flat will only be available in Aug 09":- Under the following conditions:- 1. If possible an chuang should only be done once. Thus if you had an chuang in a "previous" home e.g. currently staying with parents or rental, then should not be done at your "new" resale flat, again. 2. If already, pregnant or has had a child with (the same husband). Generally, there are the two considerations.

1. For your first question, not a major concern so long as the cover for the sewerage hole is fully sealed. As we don't want "gas" e.g. methane to escape from the man-hole. 2. It is never advisable to have the septic tank around the center of the home. Given that logically how do you drain off excess "gas - methane or other gases". Your second question, is a more important concern. While the first can easily be "rectified" i.e. make sure that the gas or dirty air don't flow and contaminate cooked food in anyway. Wasis S. wrote: Dear Cecil, Is it considered a leak if a sewerage pipe (from toilet bowl to septic tank) running under a kitchen? But the pipe is not under the stove, only running below the corner of the kitchen. I want to know you opinion about septic tank around the center of the house. Is it considered a major leak? Thanks in advance. Regards, Wasis

In general, it looks OK. Other than it can be exposed to the northern islands or islets of Indonesia, and it can be exposed to tsunami's.
