1. Please note that the three (or sometimes two) drainage exit points is dependent on the facing direction of a home. Thus a home (landed property) facing Flying Star SW 1 would have it's drainage totally different from a home with say facing direction NW 1 etc.... 2. And this left-right or right-left is again dependent on Para 1.

Since both of you intend to stay at both homes, your earth luck or Feng Shui will be influenced by the two homes and even the place of work. Frankly, there is no scientific accountability as to how much luck or influence comes from which home. However, logically, if you were to stay at a home from Monday to Friday (5 days) vs Saturday and Sunday (2 days) then the weightage may be mathematically divided based on this ratio. 1. Thank you for the sketch. However, you did not state where is the frontage of your home. 2. For example, I have marked in RED: A, B, C, D. 3. If the frontage is at A and "sitting-back-of-home" is at B, this is acceptable. 4. If your frontage is at B and "sitting" at A, then this is OK. 5. If your frontage is at C or D, then it depends on the road parallel to the frontage. P.S. Please note that if you do want to post a sketch, be more specific with where the home is in relation to the plot of land. Else it is very unproductive for me to ask more questions as I consider this, the final reply.

1. Please re-read my previous reply. 2. If you are DIY Feng Shui, then, try to see if you can apply Flying Star Feng Shui. As Flying Star Feng Shui maps out the "birth-chart" of a home. And things like water star #8 is a good location to place a water feature (distinct from whether you are a weak fire or not). If your water position is placed on a water wealth location, then it is fine. (A water position may also be placed at a water star #1, location) 3. In general, from now to 2023, avery good location to activate water position MAY be the South-West sector. Which is in general, known as the "water-wealth-spirit" location of a home. 4. Under Flying Star, what could be worse than to place a water feature at the mountain star #8 or #9 or #1 location. 5. If the above soundsgreek, then either you "jolly-well" have to learn more or get professional help or as you had mentioned, simply remove the water feature, first. Please don't ask me what is "Flying star / what is water and mountain star." Do a search - and read and learn more.

1. For reference, most types of ba gua mirror can be found under this link. 2. Your neighbour's ba gua mirror is different from the rest of the mirrors found under Para 1. 3. Before we go into your neighbour's ba gua mirror, more about the use of the Luo Pan or (Chinese compass) as found in the middle of your neighbour's ba gua mirror. 4. As most of us know, the Luo Pan is used mainly by Geomancers like myself. There are chiefly two types: The "San He" which has the 24 directions and is used in harmony with Heaven-Earth-Human. While there is another type known as "San Yuan" - more towards the I-Ching (64 combinations of hex symbols). 5. Can the "Luo Pan" be placed in a home? 5.1 Here, there are two ways to place a Luo Pan : Horizontally or Vertically. 5.2 When placed horizontally, it is often used to detect and deter evil spirits. 5.3 When placed vertically, it is meant to "absorb" or meant more for "auspicious" wealth. 5.4 In fact, in ancient times, some Feng Shui masters practise the installation (burying) of a ba gua mirror especially in the middle of some homes. (Based on certain calculations used). 5.5 In the past, some Feng Shui masters even ask their clients to place a luo pan below the altar. This is said to increase the "strength" of the God e.g. akin to taking viagra ! 6. Your neighbour's ba gua with the Luo pan in the middle. It does not matter if the Luo pan is either the San He or San Yuan or other variations. The fact that there is a luo pan in the middle and as mentioned under Para 5.3, ie. the Luo Pan is in the vertical position, it is meant to create auspiciousness for the owners (neighbours) and not used so much as to deter "deflect" evil spirits. Only Luo Pans placed horizontally is meant more to deter "evil spirits... 7. Ba Gua "mirror" war. It is a double edged sword if you were to place a ba gua mirror especially if both your unit (apartment) doors are directly facing each other. 8. By placing the ba gua mirror WITH the Luo pan in the centre, is technically to your neighbour placing an equivalent "concave" mirror to suck wealth. Since I had mentioned that the Luo Pan placed vertically is suppose to "create auspiciousness" for the owners as it faces your unit. 9. Unfortunately, it would be better if your neighbour had those normal ba gua's e.g. with qi lin (chi lin) or no mirror more for protection. 10. Frankly, no matter how, if you were to place a "similar" mirror, above your door it will be a lose-lose situation:- You could place a Concave mirror. You could place a Convex mirror. In your home, either can be used. But the concave would be better choice given that it is a REAL mirror vs a symbolic Luo Pan (that sucks wealth). Thus in a ba gua war, the concave mirror would overall be ahead of the Luo Pan. However, if you place a convex mirror, it may prevent good qi from coming into your home, while it takes care of the neighbour's ba gua by deflecting it. This is more of a lose-lose for both. When your neighbour decide to change to a convex mirror and you are using a concave mirror, then both will neutralise each other - square 1 situation. If both use concave mirror i.e. you keep your concave and your neighbour replaces his/her bagua luo pan with a concave, then this is a lose-lose situation. If so, you can change to a convex mirror instead. Thus Yin and Yang in balance so long as both mirrors are of the same size. If one is larger then again the complication of which is "stronger" follows! Honestly, these are some of the repercussions, you have to consider. Else, if you don't often open your door, then, may just "bite the bullet" and leave it as it is.

1. As mentioned, previously, no two homes or apartments are similar. Have a client who had moved in around the TOP period (2006). In fact, last year, they are looking at bigger premises - landed property. Thus, I believe that in general, some of the owners of units are doing well. 2. In the past, early 1960's I used to follow my dad to the Singapore Gun Club where he is a member, there. Which is very similar to what you had mentioned. Thus, if this looks inauspicious, best to step-aside and look elsewhere. 1. Usually, some older folks would wrap (even number of coins) e.g. 20 cents in a red paper and placed it into the urn. 2. 1. Frankly, in all developments there are often good (auspicious) and inauspicious units. But many units are affected by the afternoon sun (morning sun not so bad). Many (majority) of the units either face NW or SE. 2. In general, the plot of land is rectangular and the block layout (twin-halfs) are overall, acceptable. 3. Sometimes, it is hard to find out what is the reason for the owner's selling their homes. But, if it is true that it is a forced sale or divorcing couple... then... should be further investigated. 4. The rule of thumb is always bring along all family members to view the apartment. 5. In addition: check where is the afternoon sun "west". (Morning sun not so bad). Many of the units facing Upper Serangoon Road, will get the afternoon sun. And it is not ideal given that the living rooms and many of the bedrooms face this side. 6. 1. The traditional advise is to avoid placing a (LARGE)Qi Lin in one's home. Qi Lin should only be used or displayed in a temple. 2. In Singapore, in the past, a few Chinese associations placedlarge figurines of the Qi Lin outside their association building. This led to lots of conflicts and quarrels amongst members. 3. In a home, avoid placing such figurines as it will also lead to conflicts and quarrels amongst family members. 1. Based on the Flying Star chart that; there is a water star #8 (current water wealth star) at the frontage. And it is good to consider a water position to activate the water star for better career and general luck. 2. In general, the home should enjoy good Feng Shui. Only thing is to check that the lamp post on the rounder does not slice thru the main door or a window of the home. 1. Yes, in my opinion, I do agree with you. 2. From past experience, two major concerns come into my mind:- 2.1 Often, many of such unit(s) are affected by "direct" sun-light. For example, many of the units "living areas" face the afternoon sun 2.2Somehow, many people perhaps, felt that for whatever reasons, the Feng Shui of these units are not good. (Especially poor view or facing say the rubbish dump / power station / privacy issues i.e. facing HDB flats or temples or mosques. 2.3 Low floor (storey) and other reasons. Other reasons include some developers perhaps, did not want to do a "force sale". Or someone booked the unit but subsequently failed to get financing or became a bankrupt. I have 3 friends stay at the property name called 'The Rivervale' 1 facing punggol park, 1 facing the temple and another one is facing the Swimming pool. The husband staying at the one facing punggol park and temple died at mid age (around 43) and the one facing swimming pool is alway sick. Any big problem of the Feng Shui there, anyway can solve? In my opinion, it is best to seek expert advise, as no two units even on different levels are the same.
