  1. These people did not listen to their geomancer! Instead of enjoying M8W8B8 (Mountain star #8; Water star #8 & Base #8) They are now suffering from N1H1
  2. 1. If you have a sketch, it would be better! 2. Overall, so long as the spiral staircase is not facing the main entrance door directly, this is a plus point. 3. Is the steps for the spiral staircase fully covered or it is one "plank" onto another "plank" with open spaces in-between.
  3. Yes, for practical reasons, the clue here is "my resale flat will only be available in Aug 09":- Under the following conditions:- 1. If possible an chuang should only be done once. Thus if you had an chuang in a "previous" home e.g. currently staying with parents or rental, then should not be done at your "new" resale flat, again. 2. If already, pregnant or has had a child with (the same husband). Generally, there are the two considerations.
  4. 1. For your first question, not a major concern so long as the cover for the sewerage hole is fully sealed. As we don't want "gas" e.g. methane to escape from the man-hole. 2. It is never advisable to have the septic tank around the center of the home. Given that logically how do you drain off excess "gas - methane or other gases". Your second question, is a more important concern. While the first can easily be "rectified" i.e. make sure that the gas or dirty air don't flow and contaminate cooked food in anyway. Wasis S. wrote: Dear Cecil, Is it considered a leak if a sewerage pipe (from toilet bowl to septic tank) running under a kitchen? But the pipe is not under the stove, only running below the corner of the kitchen. I want to know you opinion about septic tank around the center of the house. Is it considered a major leak? Thanks in advance. Regards, Wasis
  5. In general, it looks OK. Other than it can be exposed to the northern islands or islets of Indonesia, and it can be exposed to tsunami's.
  6. 1. Apartment (House number) analysis is about the storey (floor) or level a home is. Thus youshould input: 02 - 3342 . Where 02 = 2nd storey and 3342 is the apartment stack's number. Frankly, there are so manyNumerology methods. Too many methods available. Thus, somemay consider it bad while some may just consider the numbers acceptable or even auspicious. Therefore, it is difficult to commentsince one has to find out what method was used to say that the house number was bad and this is not based on either the above Para 1or other Feng Shui methods. 2.Para 1, is based on Vertical Flying Star Feng Shui. Where each level is considered as having different qi influence. Thus a unit at #02 second storey, would have a different qi from the same unit at #03 etc... 3. The other more common Flying Star Feng Shui is the "horizontal" analysis of using the 9 grids or pie chart that many are familiar, here.
  7. Agnes C. wrote: Dear Master,if have wealth leak ....like my balcony window is infront of main door ,what did you advise me or what im going to do? pls. advise me....thank you very much 1. Yes, this is one of the most common issues concerning unable to save money. I strongly believe there are at least two more other wealth leaks but this beyond the means, here as it involves an audit. 2. The most effective is to make sure that there is no direct path between the main door towards this balcony window opening. One of the methods is the use of a 'divider or partition'. 3. Today, there was another question on the divider at the main door. You can check out the link in that message or check the hyper link to that article from this wiki: http://wiki.geomancy.net/wiki/Divider_or_Partition 4. The above link shows some of the considerations when installing a partition. Cecil L. wrote: Usually for such a home often there are at least 3 or more major wealth leaks. One of the most common leaks for such a home is a straight path of qi (chi) from one side of the home's window to another opening. (This opening can also be a window, door or balcony opening. It is best to try to figure out what is the wealth leak, here.
  8. In general, it depends on what type of home one stays in:- 1. landed property Here; if you have a garden, then your landscaping can form a "profile" of the missing corner. And depending on the extend, sometimes even a strategic lamp post can be used as a marker. Thus from a helicopter view, one can see the "missing corner" filled up. 2. Apartments Usually, and depends on the interior of the home, mirror in-side the home (north) sector can help to "extend" the missing corner. Alternatively, depending on circumstances, a concave mirror may be placed outside to "suck" back the missing corner wealth. Some Chinese practitioners ask their clients to place certain objects at that sector to "compensate for the " missing corner. For example, north = tortise object. But this method is not commonly used by all practitioners. Only some practitioners - recommend this.
  9. Please note that this is only a GENERAL advice forum. Your question is very specific on an individual's ba zi. You may have to get professional help i.e. paid service from whom ever you feel like it. Please refer to my earlier reply to your separate posting. First and foremost, priority goes to the Shapes and Forms Feng Shui. Head facing a good direction is "nice-to-have" and not a "must-have". Lorraine A. wrote: I have recently moved house, can i place by bed on the wall in front of a boarded fireplace?
  11. 1. Appreciate if you can do a SEARCH in this forum e.g. Partition or Partition at Main door. 2. For example:- http://forum.geomancy.net/phpforum/article.php?bid=2&fid=1&mid=17460&new= Under this link please go and read PARA 5. 3. There are already lots of resources on this subject. And Para 3 under the above link is another consideration. 4. Furthermore, your question is so general. And in addition there is no clue as to whether the partition serves any purpose at all i.e. is there a direct path from the main door to the "window" or balcony window etc...
  12. Frankly, there is no hard and fast rule; try to get advise from family members or friends when they come over. As even if ask me now, I would be able to undertand the situation. As other factors include the lighting condition etc... Thus seek the advice of people close-by to see if they feel "comfortable" with the present situation.
  13. 1. You are trying to apply the Eight House concept to your bedroom arrangement. 2. Please note that this Eight House concept where I understand that you are a East group person i.e. South, SE etc... is a "nice-to" apply but not a "Must-need-to" apply. 3. First and foremost (unfortunately) as you had mentioned, a bedroom usually have a bedroom door, windows and other openings such an attached toilet. 4. Thus as you had already mentioned, as much as you would like to place your bed against "south" this is where your bedroom door is! 5. Frankly, from your description, it is still hard to figure out the entire bedroom layout. However, as mentioned, one of the most important critera is the Shapes and Forms of the bedroom. 6. Thus, although it is "nice-to" sleep with your bed-head facing a good direction, BUT, the natural layout - based on Shapes and Forms has a higher weightage. Equally if you could sleep 'boarded firepace in the southeast as mentioned by you above, try to do so. 7. One more point is to avoid the legs facing the bedroom door (where possible). This is known as a coffin position.
  14. Usually for such a home often there are at least 3 or more major wealth leaks. One of the most common leaks for such a home is a straight path of qi (chi) from one side of the home's window to another opening. (This opening can also be a window, door or balcony opening. It is best to try to figure out what is the wealth leak, here.
  15. In a very recent forum reply, I mentioned:- 1. Acceptable to have blue roofing with white external walls. (or OK) 2. Grey roofing should also go with white external walls. (or OK) 3. Clay or orange coloured roofing can go with just any colour. This goes with maroon roofing.
  16. 1. Yes, agree. Htng H. wrote: I read somewhere that if the window is far away, it doesn't matter if your main entrance is facing it? 2. Another point is that if the mirror or reflection is very close to the main door, some people may get a "fright" in seeing themselves reflected in a mirror when just opening the door..
  17. This attached picture is than considered inauspicious.
  18. In my opinion, the blue colour or stripes is a non-issue. What we are concerned is the blue colour on or onto the ceiling not the sides of the ceiling wall. Thus, the picture shown is acceptable. We are more concerned with painting the entire ceiling blue. As in the I-ching, blue represents difficult.
  19. These homes are on silts at the fringe of Tanjong Rhu, Singapore 1950's
  20. 1. Qi (or Chi) can be reflected by mirrors or glass. One school of thought is that if that sector is a good sector, you may inadvertently reflect qi OUT of your home. Not so much of reflecting the next block of flats. 2. However, if there is any angles on that block of flat e.g. sharp corner aimed towards your home, then, this is considered inauspicious as one can see "double" the poision arrow.
  21. Can you see the kampong chickens?
  22. A common village scene@ Tanjong Katong, inthe early 1930's. There are lots of coconut trees all over Singapore. What is interesting is that can you see the free range chickens & ducks along the fringe of the river? Today, you still can get commercial chickens packaged as "kampong chicken". They are the equivalent of free range chickens in the west. The only difference is that they are always outside roaming as it is. While in the west, free range farming is that at night, the chickens are made to go into a large shelter. There is a chicken rice store along River Valley road, selling kampong chickens. They are thinner, not so oily....
  23. 1. Under the eight house concept, it is:- 1.1. It is nice-to-have the home (apartment) suitable to the breadwinner (usually male person). 1.2. It is also nice to have family members having bedroom in their good sectors. 2. It is called "NICE-to-HAVE" and not a MUST-have. Vicky L. wrote: Hi Me and my husband are both WEST group people and we are looking at stack 25 for Waterfront wave. You mentioned previously that we need to check the 8th house of influence for wealth leak position. How do I know where is that ? Also my 2 kids are EAST group people. Any advice on which rooms will be suitable for them (studies and health) since the house is generally suitable for WEST group people. Thanks 3. For your children, it would be "nice-to-have" their bedrooms located in say @ North, South, SE and/or East. And if possible, their study positions could face these directions. Again, this is nice-to-have not a must have. 4. This Eight House concept is all about NICE-TO-have, and if possible, should be suitable to the breadwinner. 5. Other than that this concept, does not provide any cures. How to? Either one stays in a good sector or not, there is no way to change that. In addition, if one cannot face a good sector (e.g. for study), that's it, simple.
  24. In your case it is still acceptable SO LONG as there is no poison arrow aimed at your main door. For example, if there is a lamp post slicing towards your main door. And you have this reflection in the mirror, then, this is considered like "doubling the bad luck".
  25. 1. The most common consensus amongst Feng Shui practitioners is the location where there is the most "yang" (activity) qi. 2. Thus, it makes sense that most likely, your frontage could be where "all the traffic flows into and out" of the home. Anonymous wrote: Hello, I am new to feng shui and have a question. Can you tell me what is the front door to my house? Is this the actual physical front door that we do not use or is this actually my back door where all the traffic flows into and out of the house? Thank you.
