  1. Case Study 1: Is Unit 141's front door facing the stairs (staircase). 1. In reality No. The front door is facing the corridor half-wall. 2. However, some ultra conservative Feng Shui Masters (FSM) say that if one stands at the front door and if one can see the stairs (even the stairwell) then it is. 3. Fortunately, whatever the argument is; the good news is that by law it is a requirement that all Emergency EXIT Staircase Doors must be closed at all times. In the event that should there be a fire and smoke, both will not affect those running down the stairs.
  2. On 22.3.2021 For a can still stay or not review..as there is a change in lick period... Yes, many existing home owners are reviewing their luck ...
  3. Case Study 8: Period 9 Flying Star Feng Shui of HDB West Hill BTO 1. Majority of the units are either facing NE1 or SW1 facing. With a few stacks/units facing SE1 and E2. 2. Under Period 9 Feng Shui, SW1, E2 and SE1 enjoys Double Auspicious Stars [#9] + [#9] at it's frontage. 2.1. For NE1, overall less lucky as this Double Auspicious Stars [#9] + [#9] are instead wasted at the "rear" of the unit which is often the kitchen - especially for the 3, 4 & 5 bedrooms flats. However, a saving grace for NE1 facing stacks/units is that it enjoys a "Sum of Ten Water Star" 2.1.1. Here an individual sector's Base Star + Water Star adds up to Ten. Even if this sector has bad stars it can flip to become favourable sector. 3. For SE1, it enjoys a "Sum of Ten Mountain Star" 3.1. Here an individual sector's Base Star + Mountain Star adds up to Ten. Even if this sector has bad stars it can flip to become favourable sector.
  4. Case Study 7: Any concern if my unit shares the same wall as a Lift Lobby/Lift? 1. Some were told that is inauspicious for one's unit to share the same wall as a lift-well. As the lift are in constant motion. Is this true? 2. For unit #957 there is totally no cause for concern given that the Lifts x 2 are sharing the same wall as the HS + Kitchen. And never a frontage or living room/bedroom sector. 3. In fact, it is a blessing in disguise. Given that (touch-wood) should anything happen or the unlikely event of the collapse of this block, it is good for a unit to share the infrastructure with a HS + Lifts x 2 = Added security and structural strength. Much like a unit sharing a wall with a set of EXIT staircase/stair-well.
  5. Case Study 6: Stacks in close proximity to the Common Bin Lobby (CBL) 1. Stacks #951 and #981 share the same wall as the CBL + Front door is just a stone's throw away from it. 2. As for Stacks #957 and #979, the entrance to the CBL is visible from it's front door. 3. Especially for these four stacks it has more to do with a stigma + hopefully also considerate neighbours who do not have a habit of littering the CBL. 4. Eventually should these units be placed for re-sale; it may become a potential buyer's consideration in their decision making to buy or not to buy and/or even with a "low-ball" offer(s).
  6. Case Study 4: This estate would have been planned better with suggested MSCP as shown, below to take advantage of a. Park View as well as a b. buffer for the church, c. traffic noise and even the d. afternoon sun. Here's to could have "killed four birds with a single stone." This site, Greenwood Park no more! circled in red...
  7. Case Study 3: Stacks near-by to the Precinct Pavilion (PP) 1. Avoid low floors of stacks #973 and #919 which has a view of the PP. 2. During activities at the PP, there is a possibility of "noise" coming from it towards #931, #971 and #975. (Possible also for #925 and #927 also.) 1.
  8. Case Study 2: Example of Front Door facing a long corridor = Stack #911 1. Stack/Unit #911 is considered as having it's front door facing a long corridor. 2. In theory #911 also faces the staircase. But fortunately the staircase (directly on the opposite end is literally a distance away.) 2.1. And by law, this staircase door is required to be closed at all times. Thus no issue, here.
  9. Interlude: Centralised Cooling System - indeed a first of its kind in Singapore Public Housing
  10. Case Study 1: Any concern if my unit faces a church? Four Stacks #975, #977, #957 and #959 face the compound of the church. 1. Some Feng Shui Masters advice against buying a unit near-by to a church and /or facing it. 2. There are also some who fall within the sphere of being a stigma. 3. For whatever reasons, plain and simple, try to place these stacks as a lower priority. 4. Under Symbolism, it is good for the unit to face the spine of the church, such as the cross usually found on more traditional churches.
  11. Case Study 8: Stack #442 and potential Sha Qi from "the GAP" 1. On windy days and specific conditions, wind may be "forced" into the gap as illustrated by the three/four SOLID RED arrows towards #442. 2. On strong and windy days can affect both health and wealth of residents staying in this stack #442. 111
  12. Case Study 7: To some there can be a stigma associated with the number "444" of Block 323A. 1. Sometimes if one is neutral to such a unit number. However, cannot say the same in the event that one may consider selling the unit in the near future. 2. Thus more sensitive are numbers like #04-444 or #14-444 perhaps to a future potential buyer. Whatever, sometimes do expect low-ballers!
  13. Case Study 6: The Precinct Pavilion Frankly for newer developments (touch wood) there should be fewer wakes/funerals. Perhaps more happy occasions like Malay wedding activities. Thus do expect some noise. For stacks #420 and #422 tendency for less privacy especially at the VOID deck during such activities. In green such as stacks #402, #404 and #406 face the Pavilion. Thus higher floors preferred to avoid looking into it. As for #400, #408 #418 and #424 has more to do with "noise pollution" if any if there are certain activities carried out at the Pavilion.
  14. Case Study 5: Poor Shapes and Forms Feng Shui, Frontage of Stacks #382 and #410 and the Common Bin Lobby (CBL) Residents of both #382 and #410: "Sir! Can you please ban the consumption of durians at Blocks 322B and 322C respectively? MP: "No, Sir, NOT!" MP: "Didn't you read the HDB Brochure Fine Print or at least use your common sense? Before purchasing the UNIT?" MP: "Serve you Right! NEXT!"
  15. Case Study 4A: The neighbour = A Bus Interchange A Question Mark for Now! 1. The U/C Bus Interchange may or may not have an impact on lower & higher floors of Stacks #474 and #476. Plus a future high-rise development on this same plot. 2. Coincidentally in the past, I had new clients who called for a Feng Shui audit for similar homes in other developments close to such a Bus Interchange. 3. Thus best to place these stacks at your back-burner for the time-being. Case Study 4B: The neighbour = Site reserved for a Church located at Tengah Park Avenue which is directly across the frontages of both Stacks #474 and #476. Less of a concern given that it is "a development" away. Need to see this neighbour's block plans, first. What ever it is, do expect both construction noise and dusts during the duration of these neighbour's build-up.
  16. Case Study 3: There is a possibility that from the front door of unit #386, one may be able to see into the Wash Area (WA) and/or common bins - especially if railings will be deployed surrounding this WA.
  17. Case Study 2: Pray that Parc Wood's Pneumatic Waste Conveyance System works fine all the time-:) 1. This system depends on the co-operation of every resident. 2. Else... P.S. Related: Do a search in this forum for Pneumatic 3. Waste Conveyance System and there are several write-ups on this topic. 4. Imagine, a Bin Centre comes one circle again. As this was popular in the 1980’s. Much like these pictures (below). With the exception that these ones are not as high-tech as the PWCS of today....
  18. Case Study 1: Any concern with Stacks #410 and #412 facing a fork road? Not perfect but generally acceptable. Low floors may occasionally hear the screeching sounds of heavy braking, though. Related: Several examples of homes facing a junction... Part 2 of 2: Advise on Waterwoods EC + Minimum Occupation Period M.O.P. Dec 2020 + Fast Hands Fast Legs - General Help - FengShui.Geomancy.Net
  19. Case Study 4: Good that in this entire block only stack #103's front door is directly facing a corridor. Furthermore, good that it is a short corridor. P.S. HDB BTO McNair Heights launched at the same time have more than it's fair share of this. For example, below belongs to a Block located at McNair Heights:-
  20. Check or search for the 12 Habits of Feng Shui. What is Habit 1 and 3zzz
  21. I am not talking about this one at sixth avenue earlier. But plot 1 No. 555 sixth avenue fits the bill. P.S. Apparently this triangle plot was one of the very first to be sold.
  22. Although the plot is triangular in shape; good to see that this is a reasonable sized plot. The entrance alone is not the chief consideration. Many homes have successfully being built on such plots. For example in Kovan area and Sixth avenue in Bukit Timah. To name a few.
  23. Definitely. However, for the last few months, overwhelmed by a huge amount of cases to prepare, review + many visits.
