  1. Have started to review some of the other August 2020 releases. Have yet to look at this site. Ok, this is really not Feng Shui. Several years ago, I had a client who had purchased a new = a condo unit. They told me that they have difficulty moving (selling) their existing HDB home at Pine Close: ”Good location as it is within the fringe of the city. But was told few Enquiries + potential HDB buyers seems to find the area’s price costly. LOL” (Need deep pockets.. not for young buyers - thus smaller market size for homes in such a location especially if the unit is four or five bedders type.)
  2. As mentioned, previously. This has nothing to do at all with Feng Shui. If your wife or yourself finds it uncomfortable with a real gun like thing in a specific place in a room. Then why give yourself "the agony" of carrying on such a baggage?
  3. Another Tanjong Rhu Wanton Noodle stall at Bukit Panjang Love their Cantonese style crisp noodles The perfect comfort food! Extra fine and firm chewy noodles! Just great Can eat everyday
  4. 14.8.2020 House Hunting exercise. Been Here many times already especially during T.O.P. years
  5. 15.8.2020. A rather high rise modern temple complex. Looks more like a monastery.
  6. Please do a search eg. “Cross junction “ under this forum and there are already many replies to such similar questions
  7. Wow... the report came back so fast. I will go through it tonight and I will call you tomorrow if I need any clarification. Thank you very much Cecil and have a nice day! Can or cannot buy Overseas case
  8. Case Study 2: Fortunately, this development is a distance away and buffered by Pulau Tekong then Pulau Ubin - from Johore Bahru, Malaysia. Unlike those flats directly opposite Johore’s industrial premises:- Resource:-
  9. Noodle Fish Soup at 417 Fernvale The thin noodles below average. The only interesting thing are a small handful of fried bean curd skins. One of those that you will not eat again. The sliced red chillies are also not fresh.
  10. Case Study 1: Very good impressions of the spaciouness and overall good Shapes and Forms Feng Shui at this former quary site. Also Riverina View (estate) may later be renamed as "What view?" Road 1. From a non-Feng Shui perspective, if one's work-place is in Jurong or Tuas this location may be quite far away. 2. But from the standpoint of Feng Shui, nowadays hardly can find such a generous distance between each flats. 3. Plus the amount of nearyby water, greenery. 4. Costa Grove shown by the red dot, below. Pulau Ubin (as a buffer from Johore) is just "next door" to HDB Costa Cove 5. The "losers" would certainly be a stretch of landed homes (as shown by the bold red-line) along Riverina View:- 5.1. Sarcastically, one may even say "What View?". Or apply for the road Riverina View to be renamed as "What View Drive". 5.2. In Singapore, it is possible to have a road renamed. For example around the year 1999, MCL was close to completing a condo development off Yio Chu Kang. However, at that time the project is along Jalan Woodbridge. 5.3. A marketing nightmare if buyers find themselves with an address like block 110 Jalan Woodbridge #01-33 etc... 5.4. Fortunately, MCL got Jalan Woodbridge changed to Gerald Drive! 5.5. The reason given also was that Woodbridge Hospital was no longer along Jalan Woodbridge. Nowadays the Woodbridge Hospital can be seen from some units along HDB Buangkok Wood estate. Reference: https://www.geomancy.net/forums/topic/15209-hdb-buangkok-woods/?tab=comments#comment-31927 Woodbridge Hospital:-
  11. Please re-read my earlier reply. Frankly, I don't want you to waste your time and effort by merely posting such tourism/ holiday type of photos. Seriously, asking such a serious question and sending such piecemeal or "no head no tail" photos and seeking again serious advice is a "joke". Therefore, this forum thread is locked.
  12. Case Study 5: Poison arrow from the roof-line of Drop Off Point (DOP) towards Stack 120 1. Potential poison arrow from the roof-line of the DOP towards #02-120. Fortunately, no concern for units higher than #02 storeys high. 2. The potential poison arrow is less of a threat towards #02-122 (if any) 3. For example, a similar DOP design can be found at HDB Fernvale Rivergrove:- The Drop off point roof-line is imposing. And can be a poison arrow as shown, below:- Another photo showing the roof-line slicing towards level #02. For Bishan Towers Stack #120 it is worse-off given that such an imposing roof-line most surely slices towards it's living room, bedroom(s) and master bedroom.
  13. Case Study 4: Sha Qi and Block 156B and stack #112 1. Vehicles turning out from Block 157B Multi Storey Car Park has a slight imbalance towards Block 112. 2. The good news does not have major issue. Safest is to avoid purchasing unit #02-112. 3. Anything above #02 are okay or acceptable.
  14. Case Study 3: The Precinct Pavilion (PP) + better planned estate 1. Although it is a considerate choice to place the PP tucked at one corner of the estate, however, if one looks at the site plan, one cannot feel sad that the PP could have been moved closer towards Bradell Road and thus areas marked in RED like A and B be planned with or stacks. 2. Thus I am pretty disappointed with the way this estate was planned. Again it is a blessing in disguise for those who managed to get a unit at 108, 110, 128, 130 and 132. Which should be an envy of their future neighbours, there.
  15. Case Study 2: Based purely from a Shapes and Forms Feng Shui perspective + first glance 1. In general, best stacks under Shapes and Forms Feng Shui are 108, 110, 128, 130 and 132. 2. 108, 110, 130 and 132 do get morning sun. But this is way better off than if the units are facing the afternoon sun. If so, only 128 is considered as a rose amongst them.
  16. Case Study 1: Common Bin Lobby + Stack 104 & 106 1. Under Shapes and Forms Feng Shui, even if the common bins are not facing stack 104; but considered marginally acceptable. 2. However, if your Feng Shui Master is a diehard practictioner is a conservative Feng Shui Master (FSM) or subsequently in the near future where the development obtained it's M.O.P. status, a potential client may bring such a FSM and it may be a no-no, here. 2.1. Learn who are these conservative FSMs and why they eat and live only by the main entrance door mantra, here:- 3. Generally stack 106 is "safe" given that it's main door does not have a view towards the common bins. And hopefully, no inconsiderate neighbours often pile rubbish at the common bin lobby. Or if durians are in season all year round and the skins are left there. LOL
  17. Case Study 6A: Common bins + Stacks 197, 227 and 247 + Poor Shapes and Forms Feng Shui 1. Stacks 197, 227 and 247 have Poor Shapes and Forms Feng Shui as not only one unit wall shares the same wall as two common bins, but also the frontage of both stacks/units have essence of smell from them. 2. Okay, you also noticed the three common lobby lifts. Frankly, there is no issue with them. Even if some Feng Shui Masters or persons say no good for moving metal to be beside a unit. 2.1. In fact, it is a blessing in disguise given that lifts or lift walls are often of a reasonable strength to 197, 227 or 247. Case Study 6B: Heard this confessions of a Pet Dog staying at #247? Pet Dog @ #247: "My master only complaints about the smell during durian season" Pet Dog @ #247: "For me, how I wish my nose is not so sensitive! I can smell all kinds of rotten four smell from don't know where + every morning when the cleaners start cleaning an area known as the common bin lobby".
  18. Case Study 3: Common Bins + Common bin lobby + Stacks 142 and 144 1. Under Case Study 2, coincidentally, I had mentioned stack 144. 2. Now again, stack 144 showed up under this Case Study. 3. I cannot really make out from the block plan: seems like there could be either a wall or a half-height railing at marking in red "X". 4. In recent key collections, had seen situations and even took photos and posted them in various HDB developments where standing at the main door, one literally look into the two common bins. As HDB apparently only installed low height railings, here. 4. If in doubt, do avoid booking stacks like 142 and 144.
  19. Case Study 2: "What's in a number? One man's meat is another man's poison" 1. The planner of this development planned even numbered stacks for Champion Bliss. 2. If so, there will be stacks numbered as "114" or "144" 3. In our local population, there will always be a certain percentage that finds such numbers "unlucky". 4. There will be others who are neutral to these numbers. There are some who even find such numbers unlucky. 5. Hopefully, in a future M.O.P. there are no low ballers for such units. 6. I can still vividly recall a client of an older EC. They (non-Chinese) just bought a flat at Block 4, #04-44. 6.1. They were curious when told by the agent for that house that he had a hard time trying to sell the unit. And it took him like 2 years to sell this unit to them! LOL 7. Stigmas are really difficult to shrug-off! Once someone has a concern, even if one tells them that there is no worry, often, they may just look elsewhere!
  20. Case Study 5: First looks, if one look away from the current Tampines Link (road); stacks 241 and 243 are one of the two best stacks in this development. 1. Good Shapes and Forms Feng Shui if one does not mind the occasional activities at the Precinct Pavilion (PP). Cross fingers that no wakes happen during festive holidays like Chinese New Year (CNY). 1.1. Okay, there is no such thing as becoming a complain king during such sad occasions. 2. Recommendation: try to get a unit at least 4th storeys or higher to avoid having a view into the PP. 3. Who says the PP is always for sad occasions. 4. If you are an extrovert or a "party animal" may sometimes get the thrill of "happy" music such as of a Malay wedding, there. 5. Get a unit if you don't mind the sounds that come from activities at this PP also. 6. Okay, I must confess, even for a true North cardinal-point house, every six months do expect some afternoon sun from an acute angle into the facade and even the side wall of stack 241. 7. Under Flying Star Feng Shui generally North 2 facing houses have good qi at the frontage of the unit.
