  11. [6]. Sum of Ten 1. Some charts have only one or a few sectors with the Sum of Ten. 1.1. If so, even if the Flying Star numbers are inauspicious. This Sum of Ten can reverse that sector to become an auspicious sector. 2. Frankly, the sum-of-ten is most effective based on Shapes and Forms Feng Shui. 3. Where if possible, the home is as rectangular or squarish or minimal missing corners or protrusions. 4. In general, the idea is that to benefit from a sum-of-ten, it is best to have as much open space as possible in a home vs too many partitions that restrict this sum-of-ten. [6A]. Sum of Ten Water Star Here an individual sector's Base Star + Water Star adds up to Ten. Even if this sector has bad stars it can flip to become favourable sector. PERIOD 9: N1, S2/3 NE1, E1, NW1, NW 2/3, W2/3 [6B]. Sum of Ten Mountain Star Here an individual sector's Base Star + Mountain Star adds up to Ten. Even if this sector has bad stars it can flip to become favourable sector. 12. THE EIGHT (8) SPECIAL FLYING STAR NATAL CHARTS [1.] On Mountain On Water [ 坐山向水] On Mountain On Water Formation - Water Star is found in the front of the house, while Mountain Star is found at the back of the house. It is desirable to have water in the front and mountain to support the house. In Period 8 NE (Frontage) = Water Star #8 with SW (Rear) = Mountain Star #8 This applies only in Period 8 (2004 to 2023). NONE FOUND IN PERIOD 9 [2.] Up Mountain Down Water [ 上山下水] Up Mountain Down Water Formation - Mountain Star is found in the front of the house, while Water Star is found at the back of the house. This is deemed inauspicious unless there is water at the back and mountain in front to reinforce this formation. In Period 7 WEST (Frontage) = Mountain Star #7 with EAST (Rear) = Water Star #7 This applies only in Period 7 (1984 to 2003). NONE FOUND IN PERIOD 9 [3.] Double Stars [#9] + [#9] in Front Double Star in Front Formation - This formation should have near water and distant mountain to enhance this structure to activate wealth. Currently (this year in 2020) the ruling or reigning star is #8. Thus the double stars are also #8’s not #9’s. This article was written for a Period 9 book by me. PERIOD 9: NORTH 2/3, NE 2/3, EAST 2/3, SE1, SOUTH1, SW 1, WEST 1 & NW 2/3 [4.] Double Stars [#9] + [#9] at the Rear 4.1. Double Star Behind Formation - Requires the necessary near mountain and distant water to enhance this sector to active wealth. 4.2. For apartments ECs/Condos/HDB flats, usually wasted at the rear of the unit. 4.3. For many landed properties overseas especially in the US, the yard opens towards the pool and a reasonable sized yard. Such homes can take advantage of this. PERIOD 9: NORTH 1, NE1, EAST 1, SE 2/3, S2/3, SW 2/3, WEST 2/3 & NW1 [5.] Diagonal Robbery No. 7 Star This formation is Very Auspicious Combination where occupants will enjoy good health, wealth and prosperity for such a house. P7 S1, P7 N2/3, P7 NE 2/3 & NONE FOUND IN PERIOD 9 [6]. Sum of Ten 1. Some charts have only one or a few sectors with the Sum of Ten. 1.1. If so, even if the Flying Star numbers are inauspicious. This Sum of Ten can reverse that sector to become an auspcious sector. 2. Frankly, the sum-of-ten is most effective based on Shapes and Forms Feng Shui. 3. PERIOD 9: NORTH 2/3, NE 2/3, EAST 2/3, SOUTH 1, SE 1, SE 2/3, SW1, WEST 1, NW2/3 [7.] Parent String A house with a Parent String chart enjoys very auspicious wealth and relationship luck when the ruling star is present. NONE FOUND IN PERIOD 9 [8.] Pearl String 1. A Pearl String chart when stars line up in every grid. Very auspicious if Period 9 is at the Center of the chart. Else looks like any other ordinary chart. SENARIO 1: 2. Very auspicious if the star base star in the center palace is the same star as the current period. Thus from now to 2023, it has to be #8. Plus another condition is that there should be a mountain in front of the house and water at the back. In order to take advantage of the Pearl String effect. SENARIO 2: 3. Pearl String is deemed Neutral even if the base star is the same as the current period star WHERE there is mountain in front and water at the back of the house. SENARIO 3: 4. It is Very inauspicious if the reverse is true if the base star in the center palace is NOT the same star as the current period and there is no mountain at the front and water at the rear of the house. P7 NW2/3 & NONE FOUND IN PERIOD 9
  13. Most likely the architect returned home from overseas. From a Commonwealth country. As in the past, in Singapore, there were many British bungalow designs that has this sort of design. Large bungalows the size of at least 10,000 sq feet. where the car comes and drop off the occupants at the porch. In fact one home is still around at Mountbatten Road SIngapore. The road was formerly Olive Road. But renamed in honour of Lord Mountbatten (grandson of the former Queen) who was later murderd by the IRA in UK. Drop off from side of the house.
  14. 1. One last thing is of the natural world of animal rescue. Where a person who is trying to rescue a confused dog would approach the animal without eye contact from the side. 2. Thus if all these home's main door is like this (see below) it mimics the natural world of a non confrontation with one's neighbour(s) if their doors are also at this frontage. 3. This the only advantage of the above. LOL. 4. Common sense is that if one places lots of things at the side Main door and slowly it creeps towards the neighbour's main door ... sort of an obstacle course.. then for sure... WWIII is about to crash down on both homes... bad blood... another Battle of Britain. This time without Churchill to the rescue! LOL 5. Yeah! No hoarders.. be it the you the buyer and your neighbours.. Hehehee...
  15. 1. I was typing additional considerations. When you posted this message. 2. Do check my reassurance in my last message thread. 3. From a Feng Shui point of view, a good design! 4 Who in the world world be so free as to wait for High-noon, hands holding garden tool and cursing and swearing at the neighbours? LOL
  16. These are further considerations: 1. As mentioned earlier, this sort of thing be it room door facing each other or a home's front door facing each other.. is more like a "high-noon" gun fight encounter. Common sense. But again, everyone seems to lump it as inauspicious and shift the blame to bad Feng Shui. 2. (Below) If the front door is as shown, it is a waste of the frontage. As the only openings and natural light can only come through windows at "A". 3. Only thing here is that there is no longer a "High-noon" confrontation.
  17. Firstly, thanks for sending these photos; your question is very clear. These are some considerations: 1. Actually this is not really Feng Shui. But rather, like a "high-noon" situation where opposite family members stand at their respective main door and "confront" each other. But really, who is too free to do so. 2. In fact, in highly populated country like Singapore, majority of flats has the front door opened facing exactly the neighbour's door. With just 1.2 metres to 1.8 metres distance apart from each other. It is a situation of Live and let Live. 3. Is it because of the "staring incident" that some say is inauspicious. And somehow translate to Feng Shui. Frankly, this has more to do with symbolism than Feng Shui. But everyone seems to push this to Feng Shui. 4. Under Shapes and Forms Feng Shui, contrary to "popular" belief, the main door at the side works well. This is because, the architect of these houses make it a point to let light and if windows are opened = wind and light to come into the house. 4.1 Which otherwise would be wasted by a front door at the frontage of the house. Majority of the time, the front door is shut. Thus might as well place it at the side of the building! 4.2. In Feng Shui we call this frontage advantages because of the bright hall effect. With the ground floor having both a set of bay windows and protuding windows. So much light and "airy". 4.3. Furthermore, such as frontage is virtually "protected" even if the opposite side where this photo was taken has homes that pose a poison arrow(s). 5. Kudos to the architect of this project!

  21. In my opinion, a Can or Cannot Buy review is even more tedious than doing a single case of full Comprehensive Feng Shui Review. As a proper review must: 1. Take into account Shapes and Forms Feng Shui: External environment and the unit's surroundings 2. The Main breadwinner's Birthdate = Ba Zi 3. All family member's Birthdates 4. Compass School Feng Shui: How suitable is the house to especially the main breadwinner 5. Compass School: Flying Star Feng Shui. Since the new period is coming between 2024 to 2043, the wealth luck sectors are to be looked into and the consequences if any explained to the potential buyer 6. Ba Zi Feng Shui which ties in with Para 4 and 5. 7. 阳宅三要 or Yang Zhai San Yao or the three major considerations. Below are some of the examples of how a Can or Cannot Buy Review is conducted. No two proposals can be rubber-stamped. As mentioned it involves lots of concentration + time and effort. . Lots more examples can be found below this FAQ https://www.geomancy.net/forums/blogs/entry/10-off-site-can-or-cannot-buy-eyeing-a-few-units-which-unit-is-better-for-me/
