Guidance on where to position the altar within a landed property.
Cecil Lee replied to MummyJay's topic in General Help
Here are a few factors to take into account: 1. Ideally, a specific altar should have an even number of Gods for prayers, often 1, 3, or 5 deities. 2. Ancestor tablets are not considered gods, so there are usually no restrictions on the number placed on an altar table. 3. It is preferable to separate positions for ancestor tablets from different families, although they can still be in the same space, separated by a partition or spaced out. A highest ranking? A Matriach? Is there a female head of the household present? 3.1. However, it is important to consider if there is a high-ranking family member or matriarch overseeing the home. 3.2. Approval from such a person may be necessary. 4. It is advisable to discuss with family members to determine if the arrangement is acceptable to all. 5. Even if outsiders suggest otherwise, family members' opinions should take precedence. 6. In the case of cremation, an urn with ashes is considered "Ashes to ashes," and any remaining ashes are considered neutral. 7. This is why in many columbariums, niches can be stacked as high as 10 stories or more without issues. -
Please note that the layouts are purposely pixelated for confidentiality. Ground Floor: Where the centrepoint of the house is close to the staircase area:- Similarly for the 2nd storey, one can also see that the centrepoint is also close to the same position as that of the ground floor:- Thus is it quite similar to super-imposing the ground floor onto the 2nd storey at the same location. And preparing similar charts. Just that one is at the ground level, the other is at the 2nd storey.

Today, this is the largest condo with a whopping 2,203 units. (on average many large condos are around 1,000 plus units only) A snapshot from an advert by PropNex, the agent handling the sales of this development... Looks like other agencies also are also selling this development .. a free for all agents share... The former site...HUDC Tampines Court before it was torn down due to the enbloc:-

We understand that your home is important to you. So does each and everyone of us have our own home and specific layout. But unfortunately, no one else in this forum is interested in your specific layout plan.... Good to understand this + don't waste your time + expectations on a reply. There won't be. Most of the time, the question is never verified.. thus one can wait until the cows come home... For altar position, try to do a SEARCH in this forum and there are lots of samples ...

Thank you. 1)After my husband bring all stuffs to the new home, can I come help him to unpack and arrange stuffs? 2) is it ok for my husband to arrange chairs and table when I'm not in the house? 1. Frankly this has nothing to do with Feng Shui. 1.1 There are so many Chinese dialect groups with such a diverse range of individual or even perculiar practices. 1.2 More important, you have to check with your husband's matriach or mother. As often, such things are governed by the mother. 1.3 Thus if your husband's mother gives you blessing to do so.. then go ahead. 1.4 If you ask, even if I said okay, can easily be overruled by the matriach or hubby mother. 2. Why not. He is not pregnant or anything like that. More importantly the taboo is the master bedroom. Where once the new bed is set into the new master bedroom. This bed must not be moved = no matter what. 2.1 If the existing "bed of conception" has to be moved into the new house, the pregnant wife should not enter that bedroom anymore (often) until after giving birth or some are more strict.. until the entire 1 moth after baby is born. 2.2 If you were to move-in before giving birth, then as mentioned, the bed has to be set correctly. And not moved until after baby's 1 month old. This is sort of the Chinese traditional practises. Some additional information has been added to the above for clarity. Thus more details than the actual WhatsApp capture. ======== Partial extract only:-
