Champion Green @ Woodlands HDB BTO launched in May 2019
Cecil Lee replied to Cecil Lee's topic in Singapore Property Review
Part 3: Common Bins / Bin Lobby and HDB Champions Green 1. Best to avoid purchasing one of these stacks/units: #127, #153, #195, #227 & #237 as their main bedroom doors are just too close to the rubbish bin lobby area. 2. In addition, it can also affect future resale value.- 21 replies

Part 2: Potential poison arrow(s) from sharp corners of neighbouring blocks 1. Please note that this is just a sampling. And not an exhaustive lists of potential poison arrows. (There are lots more of such poison arrows.) 2. The attached is illustrative only... 3. It is inevitable that blocks that are angled 90 degrees in close proximity mighl have potential poison arrows aimed toward another neighbouring stack/unit.

Part 2: Common Rubbish Bins and HDB Kempas Residences Stack #29 is sharing the same wall as beside the common rubbish chute lobby. While stack #37 is exactly opposite the common rubbish chute lobby very close to it's entrance. Thus if possible, make these two stacks the "last resort," These photos are actually from the recent Just T.O.P. At Macpherson Spring.. with similarities of the common bins beside one of the units in future Kempas Residences: May most certainly also affect the future resale value of the above unit to the right of the photos. For example: in the future, when it is time to resell the unit and if the potential buyer brings a "Conservative" Feng Shui Master [FSM] for advice.. "wait long long".. as the answer will often be.. "LOOK ELSEWHERE!" To understand who is a Conservative FSM find out more under this link:-.. P.S. Often a Conservative FSM eats and sleeps with emphasis on the main door. And with a view like this.. where the main door is next to the bin centre... Yeah! Good LUCK to ..." LOL!

Part 3: Stepped or Jaggered edge border of HDB Garden Vale. Is this FAKE news? 1. One would have thought that the border shared between HDB Garden Vale and it's neighbouring plot would be in a straight or slightly curved line. 2. But if one were to look at the HDB Garden Vale site plan, it is highly noticeable that this border takes a very unusual stepped or jaggered edge profile. Was the planner in a drunk state when he/she drew this site plan? 3. Such stepped or jagged edge shape is unfriendly under Shapes and Forms Feng Shui. 4. Imagine if the neighbour is an Executive Condo or Condo. Building their fencing not only costs more.. but may look weird after the built. But if there are ground floor units within this EC/Condo.. good luck to these units! LOL 4.1 This Townmap by HDB confirms the stepped /jaggered edges is for real!:- 5. Why can't the planner do it like this? 6. In addition the Notes seems nowadays to have more and more escape clauses... LOL

Part 2: Site Reserved for a Chinese temple at 8'Oclock of HDB Garden Vale 1. Always seems like a taboo to purchase a unit next to a site reserved for a Chinese temple: 2. Below: A temple can be build following one of these profiles: A, B or C:- 2.1. PROFILE TYPE: B 2.1.1 Most likely we may leave out B given that many temples often do not like to be built based purely on the North/South cardinal points of 0/360 and 180 degrees. 2.1.2 In addition, may be quite awkward as it is like placing a square peg in a round hole. Here, the plot cannot be fully maximised. 2.2. PROFILE TYPE: A 2.2.1 This could most likely be the future profile/outline of the temple. 2.2.2 Here, the temple will be facing SW, sitting NE. In some instances can activate a spiritual portal of : Devil's gate: Devil's front door and Devil's back door. More about this can be found under this link:- 2.2. PROFILE TYPE: C 2.2.1 This profile is equally less likely because of the outline of the plot of land. 2.2.2 A few famous Singapore monastery is aligned in such a profile. 2.2.3 For example: Two of the most famous Monasteries in Singapore: Kong Meng San Phor Kark See Monastery and Lian Shan Shuang Lin Monastery at Toa Payoh:-

These are some considerations: 1. There are always differences in opinions. It depends on whom you ask this question. 1.1 Some Feng Shui Masters (FSMs) would say NW1. While others would still say that NW2. 1.2 Some FSMs would say NW1. But temporary. As ultimately, the actual facing of the house is still NW2. 1.3 Those who say that it will become NW1 based their belief of symbolism. This group simply "eats and sleep" on the "Main Entrance Door". And their Feng Shui revolves around this Main Entrance Door. If one encounters this group of FSMs. Their answer is always NW1. 1.4. I am more inclined towards Para 1.1. and 1.2. Thus, NW2. 2. Frankly, as mentioned above, the reply depends on WHOM one seeks advice from. 3. The above falls under the Compass School of Feng Shui = Flying Star Feng Shui. 4. The other application of tilting of the main door is to steer away from poison arrow such as a lamp post aimed towards a main door etc... 5. Search for Hyatt Hotel and one can find photos in this forum of such a tilt at the frontage of Hyatt Hotel. It is based on Castle Gate Theory. (This is an advanced theory and many FSMs today don't really know what it is or how to apply this. LOL!) 5.1. And the benefit here is both the "flow of qi" as well as avoid poison arrows (if any) where tilting a door symbolise that the main door may no longer face directly e.g. a lamp post.

These are some considerations: 1. Contrary to popular beliefs, not every thing is a Sha Qi (poison arrow) 2. Take a cue from the Management concept / situational approach called "It Depends!". 3. Thus Sha Qi is not a one-size fits all. 4. The key to understanding is the logic of "vulnerable" openings of one's premises (can be) a home, a business premise. 5. For a home, the most vulnerable areas are: the main entrance door, the sliding panels and/or the windows. 6. If there is say... a horizontal edge of the neighbour's house. But if it is at the same level as one's home wall; then no issue. Same goes for pointed roof-lines and objects such as in this first or earlier thread that looks like a "threatening" knife... etc... 7. Another area not covered by the above is another form of Sha Qi. This form of Sha Qi is often an opening e.g. between two houses. Add in the wind conditions. 8. We can also consider this example. Say, if one's home is standalone on a hill. Surrounding this home has natural or planted trees. 8.1 On windy days, these trees help to slow down the wind. Contrast this to a house on a hill completely on barren ground. Too strong a wind often means one or family members can fall sick. Much like the examples I had provided in the movement of air flow between two or more blocks of flats. Case studies .. can be found if one does a search for the likes of " La Fiesta " or "Luxurie" condo. (Found in this forum). 8. For landed properties are also the same. Sometimes the house is between a gap of two houses. Plus if it is unusually windy, such that if one were to open one's home windows, strong winds gush into our house, then best to control this wind by reducing the amount of openings or closing them.
