In my view, the Alkaff Courtview land plot is generally favorable. (It can be regarded as a propitious site for burial in the past). Residents are likely to thrive. The individual units are determined by the bell curve. Even though the plot is somewhat elongated or 'vertical' in relation to the afternoon sun, there are still numerous stacks/units that remain unaffected by the afternoon sun and/or are only partially impacted at the frontage. I plan to visit one of these developments soon to assess the situation, as it has just received its Temporary Occupation Permit (T.O.P.). I will certainly bring along a few of my Loupans specifically for 'Yin Feng Shui' to evaluate the site.... One of the hidden advantages in Feng Shui is the presence of birds. I hope that when the Bidahari Greenway is completed, one will be able to observe some life there. A location lacking birds... hmmm... P.S. I conducted a brief assessment of the effects of afternoon sun at HDB Alkaff Courtview: Please note that the above list is not exhaustive. Nevertheless there is a fair amount of stacks/units that are literally not affected by the afternoon sun. Wow....

These are some considerations: 1. Frankly, one has to consider the distance between the funeral home to your apartment window. 2. Exactly which part of the funeral home faces your bedroom window or windows (if any). 3. The above makes lots of difference - good or bad. You wrote: I’m not allowed to hang anything outside my window because it may fall and hurt someone walking below. 4. Then you wrote: I am looking for guidance as to what Bagua mirror to buy and where to put it Para 3 and 4 in the sense is contradictory given that most of the time a Ba gua mirror is (a.) Hung outside (b.) placed at an opening facing outwards such as the bedroom window you mentioned. 5. In Feng Shui, I need to know the compass alignment between the apartment and the funeral house. Especially concern if it is in a NE and SW alignment etc...

HDB Alkaff Vista - Which units are lucky?
Cecil Lee replied to Cecil Lee's topic in Around Singapore
1. One consideration is the architect/planner installs sometime similar to this link:- 2. In my opinion, something similar as above does truly help ... 3. Especially this RC protruding wall version... 3.1 The newer aluminium type also is better than nothing... 3.2 Otherwise, based on common sense + perhaps add a UV protective film and pray that the walls does not soak in heat and ooze out... era fans and perhaps air-con even? 3.3 As it seems each year hotter and hotter... 4. Else... pray hard that this government does not continue to increase the electricity bill. (Even when statistics show perhaps that the costs of oil etc.. had gone down... LOL....) 5. This is another unfortunate example of if one is aware of it (afternoon sun)... yet ask for a “cure” is literally asking for it. 5.1. Thus this is based on pure common sense. -

Yah I'm thinking it's difficult the maintain the plants as the area is narrow. Better to have fake plants then messy/dying plants?

Grandeur Park Residences - Which units are lucky today?

Question: The plants around the glass will be outdoors. Any issues using fake plants? 1. Primarily based on common sense, here. 2. In an office fake plants are fine or okay as they are in an aircon environment. Thus less dusty. 3. Fake plants outdoors and since no watering of leaves etc.. can be dusty... good luck if allegic and not maintained frequently....that's all
