These are some considerations: 1. The eight house concept is considered as "Nice-to" have and not a "Must-have". 2. The key consideration is the statement: "Forms prevail over the stars". 2.1. Here: Forms = (means) Shapes and Forms Feng Shui Stars = (means) Flying Stars Feng Shui and it's sister Compass School concept of the Eight House Theory. 3. Your sample illustration of bed placement in theory of course may suppose to be facing your best South-West direction. 3.1 But like all theories, does not take into account Human Luck factors. 3.2 For example, you may get full marks under the Eight House concept. But if the bed-placement is awkward and given that you have windows to look out of... this is a no-no. 3.3 Many humans need to have a conscious feel of our environment. Thus even if the windows are closed; yet for many, we still can "feel" the light filtering in from the windows and/or when it rains.. 3.4 Pilots always commented that they like not only to have a focused view but also be able to see towards a distance.. For example, if one keeps on studying at a workstation or working on a computer screen for a prolonged time; often. Then when it is time to go outside.. often we may need "thicker and thicker" glasses or eye-wear due to this condition. 3.5 Based on Shapes and Forms, it is inauspicious to have the bed-head facing towards the windows. 3.6 In the past, this was quite different. And even now, if so, some homes have a bay window ledge for this. 4. Thus, the bed placement in your attachment is considered "messy". 4.1. But sadly, there are still lots of geomancers who do not understand the above as well as the element of Human Luck or feeling odd ... situation... be it from self or when visitors comment on such a layout plan. 4.2. Thus, what is the use of facing your "correct" SW when say... go visit a 100 homes and almost nearly no one else does this odd placement. 4.3. I will thus not be surprised to hear that some geomancers give the okay for this layout plan. If so, they have never heard of this statement: "YOU STAY THERE, we (outsiders) don't". 4.3.1 Here, imagine, someone goes to one's home for an hour or two. But WE have to live with it for the rest of our lives if we still own the home. In fact, it is true that some geomancers have even told their clients.. not to use e.g. the Master Toilet. Unbelievable. 4.4 In my opinion, best to have the bed-head or bed placed according to the priority of Shapes and Forms FIRST. 5. For example: ideally the bed should be as placed in the "norm" as shown in the attachment. Options A and B are the norm and not awkard. 6. Frankly, instinctively most of us when we step into a "blank canvass" bedroom; we already have visualise day where we want to place the bed-head normally instead of such "abnormal" directions. 7. Under the Holy Trinity of Chinese Luck system: a. Heaven Luck or born with = 33.33 percent b. Earth Luck or Feng Shui = 33.33 percent c.. Human or man luck is about feeling comfortable = 33.33 percent. 7.1. What the above means is that each of the above 3 accounts for only 33.33 percent of the total luck. 7.2. Thus even if one gets full marks for getting the bed-head direction right, this does not mean one gets fantastic luck. 7.3. Especially, everyday, one stares at the wardrope. And our field of focus is just a short distance with our back against the "openings" the windows. 8. Frankly, I won't want to be caught sleeping in such an ackward direction as in your illustration. Similarly do not have the stomach to give such an advice. The above link: "A better understanding that even if one scores full marks for Feng Shui; it accounts for only 33.33% of the total luck under the Holy Trinity of Chinese Luck system." The only exception is that of Location, location and location. Here, if the location has fantastic Feng Shui, then it makes a lot of difference. But bed placement does not come under this category of "fantastic" luck gain, though.

External door GAP seal for the Main Entrance
Cecil Lee replied to Cecil Lee's topic in Current Affairs & Lifestyle
1. I first saw this at Canberra One. As this development launched a Group buy. 2. Today, at The Topiary, all the neighbours on this level also install it. 3. There is now a brown coloured version. 4. What happens is when the door closes; the side of the module has a protruding pin that presses the seal down once the main door is fully closed. 5. Thus it is a manual but ingenious invention... But the seller does not seem to want us to see it. 6. Therefore, if we watch the videos we will be clueless or rather intrigued by this. Maybe they want the potential buyer to be amazed by this. -

Taman Jurong was in the 1960's to 1980's The Central hub of Jurong. Then, the major road leading towards Jurong was Jalan Ahmad Ibrahim. At that time, all the amenities were located there. Such as Jurong Drive-in cinema; Ice skating rink; and the various eateries to cater for most of the needs of the near-by factories and homes at familiar names like Kang Ching, Tah Ching, Yuan Ching Road. In the 1990's when "Jurong" Shifted towards Boon Lay and encroaching towards PIE and KJE; This is no longer The Central it once was. As the garvity shifted towards Boon Lay MRT. Which is today considered as The Central part of Jurong West. While Jurong East has another hub... Nevertheless, just look at the uniqueness of its nature vegetation and trees.. these flats were built in the early 1970's... under the late esteemed Dr Goh Keng Swee's time.

There are two dimensions in Feng Shui:- 1. Shapes and Forms Feng Shui 2. Flying Star Feng Shui: "2.2. Unfortunately for the S1 facing direction, the double auspicious #8 stars are often "wasted" at the sitting position which usually is the kitchen/yard area." Generally, the Shapes and Forms prevail over the stars (Flying stars); thus although stack #40 is not as good as N1 facing stacks; but it is centrally pool facing is good. Overall, can still be considered especially under Para 1, above

When I have the time; I will try to post comments on some developments; As I still have various commitments. Even if a unit is less suitable and if there are eg. Three to choose from; one can still rank the stacks/units as shown in the same. But this ranking is tedious so need lots of time and effort. And usually for left over units or if one already firm on just these few units.

1. Are you so sure that the toilet at the centrepoint is the main cause of one's ills? or Poor health? 2. Please refer to this illustration; one will see that after plotting the Flying Stars there are a combination of "nasty" stars: " [9] & [5] - Where #5 = misfortune/sickness fuelled by fire. Be careful of health concerns - monitor for any health issues. " 3. As mentioned previously, usually it takes 3 or more major leaks to cause problems. 4. And if one were to merely "bang-head" against the wall focusing for a cure at the toilet; but yet forget that the master bedroom has nasty health issue as shown in the sample. 5. Do you think that one's health problem will go away... if we do not neutralise / minimize or disarm it = if it is in the master bedroom or other areas of the home? 6. In life also, it is so easy to concentrate on something that unless we can relocate; but rather see what is/are the actual ROOT cause of the problem. 7. Under Flying Star Feng Shui, these are some of the concerns: #5 = misfortune and sickness star. As the description suggests can lead to loss of wealth and health issues #2 = sickness. This is yet another star that can give health issues. For example if one's bedroom is located there. #9 = fire element. Under the Five elements concept: Fire fuels earth = #5 and /or #2. Thus as shown in the illustration.. makes it much worse than just having the #5 alone. #3 = Quarrels, conflicts and legal entanglements. And as the word "legal" suggests.. can also be loss of $$$$ #7 = "Robbery star". May not be the actual robbery. But rather "Theft of Wealth" or missed opportunities. Such as unable to close a deal or often running out of luck... 8. Thus in my opinion, instead of applying the concept of maximizing marks... here, why keep on focusing on just that Toilet at the centrepoint of the home? Instead.. get the priorities right... and Fix these leaks or 9. If there is an opportunity to enhance the current prosperity stars #8's in the home.

All these considerations has to do with The Central theme of pure common sense: 1. The Contractor will often cut pieces of mirror(s) to fit into the lift. Instead of hauling it up via the staircase. 2. Even if the contractor chose to bring it up via the staircase; sometimes difficult to turn.. and may break or chip the glass. 3. The illustrations will show why never get even pieces. Thus always install odd pieces... 4. Under symbolism; the mirror gives the illusion of spacious and "abundance" where food on the table always doubles.. 5. Thus generally one or three pieces are the norm. 5.1 For a one piece horizontal mirror; should usually cover or include both Husband and wife's face and head; not necessarily for children..

You wrote: What should we do to prevent financial and health issues? Do you know that in order to find the root cause and minimize and maximize the results... one needs to do homework. Look at the illustration... no prior homework... what prevention is there? Answers cannot just fly off the shelf.. Hope you understand.. It is not like.. post a one liner.. and next day.. the answer arrive just like that... if it is so simple; who is going to study for a diploma or degree. Unless... one goes out to a degree mill and buys one... Thus the bare minimum are:- a. Ba Zi of family members b. Shapes and Forms Feng Shui c. Compass School of Feng Shui: Eight House and Flying Star chart. For example, one must make an effort be it DIY or ... to prepare a chart similar to the 2nd attachment. The 2nd attachment has all the three above combined. You have to do your own homework. Then analyse and come up with a solution. It is not so easy as a "one liner"... The last image is that of Ba zi Feng Shui. If one wants to DIY also need to study Traditional Feng Shui as shown in the chart. First prepare one and then analyse and find solutions. Unfortunately, if one still for example insists on a prevention or cure.... go for trial and error.. such as flip a coin.. heads or tails... there are no two ways about it. This one.. = Degree mill type of Fung Sway. Lastly, the above is based on common sense + facts of life and certainly not fiction. Where is the Triage? Medicine = Health has to do so = All Hospital A & E does this. Why Feng Shui is so special and do not do so?

1. Yes, the toilet is at the centrepoint. 2. Please try to read my earlier reply. If not, Please get the clue from these two illustrations. Especially the last one.....

Please Click on this link for the latest resources on this topic:- : : : : : : --- Older resources --- These are some considerations: 1. it is not like one can simply remove the toilet and place it at another location. Thus, the clue here is that is the toilet at the centrepoint or not, one cannot change this whatsoever. Have to live with this. 2. Feng Shui Triage http://www.geomancy.net/wiki/Feng_Shui_Triage 2.1. Here, it simply means that without proper understanding of the whole picture of the home; one is unable to comment precisely. 2.2. For example, in some homes, even though under Shapes and Forms Feng Shui, it is not a good idea that the toilet is at the centrepoint. 2.2.1 But a blessing in disguise for some homes is the inauspicious wealth stars such as #5 and with #9 and or #5 with #2 etc.. are found at the centrepoint of the house. 2.2.2 If so, contrary to popular belief, it may be good to have such nasty stars, there. Although not ideal but better than "nothing". 3. Usually it takes more than one toilet at the centrepoint in a home to cause issues. Often, if a home has three or more major leaks then this is a concerned. Thus for eg. if the toilet at the centrepoint is considered as ONE major "leak" or issue; then try not to have two or more further major leaks. 3.1. Common sense prevails: Understanding the concept of Maximizing marks: http://www.geomancy.net/wiki/The_Concept_of_Maximizing_Marks 4. Some homes even if they have three or more major wealth leaks but the home is considered an unpolished gem.. then it is STILL not an issue:-http://www.geomancy.net/wiki/Your_Home:_An_unpolished_gem_or_a_rotten_apple%3F 4.1 For example, even in the 1970's car companies like Volvo and Mercedes have already built in crush zones at the front end of their cars. Thus, even in an event of an accident, the engine compartment does not crash into the vehicle compartment. 4.2 For some homes, there is this safety margin. That makes it a world of difference. 4.3. Thus, in your example; even if there is a toilet at the centrepoint; there is already enough buffer to sustain this. 4.4. The Triage is to better understand the situation. While the concept of maximizing marks is to fix as many leaks as possible. And in some instances, if there is a hidden gem; enhance this! 5. Here, it is a matter of applying common sense and approach Feng Shui using their scientific concepts as well.

Is my neighbour reflecting bad spirits with his Ba Gua mirror?
Cecil Lee replied to CrispyChicken's topic in General Help
1. This version of the Ba gua mirror has a flat piece of mirror. 2. Many years ago around 1970's to early 1980's these were the most popular or rather the most common mass produced ones. 3. Thus in this period; such mirrors are used universally for every occasion: be it to scare away evil spirits and/or to deflect Sha Qi. 4. The above is the true purpose of the mirror placed above your neighbour's door. 5. Since this mirror can be used to deflect Sha Qi or direct it towards your unit; 6. You might have to consider a convex mirror. 7. Please ignore the mirror on the attachment as it is a conCAVE one. 8. In order to deflect back...then one may have to place a similar one but use conVEX mirror. 9. Before going into a Ba gua war; you could perhaps have a word with your neighbour and find out perhaps why is he placing such a mirror. FIRST. PS. Note: the photo shows a conCAVE mirror. This is just a sample showing particularly a simple no frills red border-line mirror that's all.- 1 reply
