As I had mentioned previously, often in many situations; it has more to do with people's taste and how much adverse comments (if any). 4. Technically, no. will often not have any adverse comments. 5. The most subjective would therefore be no. ONE. 6. Again, there is no right or wrong answers, here.

1. In my opinion, this whole arena is considered under symbolism in Feng Shui. 2. For example, drawing a parallel; the first time that is considered a NO-NO is for a marriage couple; it is considered inauspicious to join two single beds to form a sort of queen-sized bed. 2.1. The two single beds symbolise more of a "split" or "divorce" sort of way. And imagine if the twin beds are on rollers; and if both partners were to do some vigourous activity on the bed; and if the middle put of the bed i.e. the two beds "split up". 3. It is the same concept as not having two equal mirrors facing a dining table as it will "split" the image into two (where there is a line across the middle). 4. Thus where possible or NICE-NOT-TO have a split in the middle of the e.g. queen or king sized bed. 5. As to having some patterns on the bed-head; it is considered as not CRITICAL; but rather, if possible, can avoid; things like a diamond shaped pattern would be nice-to avoid. 6. What you mentioned is very subjective. And what happens if friends or even one's partner makes some comments on it; and if many people start to make comments; some people may end up feeling not too good about having such a design on the bed-head. Not that critical but more towards man-luck factors.

These are some considerations: 1. In my opinion; in my life-time; and still today, some who are not too familiar with Feng Shui would asked this question: If I hire you to do my Feng Shui; must I need to do major hacking? 2. One of the major reasons, I suspect for saying that spiral stairs is "bad" has more to do with common sense. 1. The main concern is that when entering a home, one must not see a flight of steps "flowing down" and flowing-out of the main entrance door. 2. 1. In order to understand this; in the past, when underground water courses (not sewerage water) but caverns or streams of water flow below a home; this is considered "unhealthy". 2. Thus, some sites choose to build a pagoda; above it. (In directly to tame it or rather from another view point: if there is pagoda there... most likely the dwelling cannot be on the same location. I have seen old houses and apartments where directly opposite the wc wall; the wall is peeling and like soaking in moisture and the plaster is "swollen". Through lateral thinking; maybe or whether it does or does not help: one could just give a try: using "exterior paint" which has better moisture retention properties than regular interior wall paints. Not sure whether this does help or not...

As mentioned previously, the MAIN issue lies with: "Does the WC cum sewerage pipe share the same wall?" Furthermore, if the bed is as shown in the attached illustration; this is considered inauspicous. Did you see specks of red "vapours" in the illustration. This is a graphic illustration to show that hopefully, the sewerage pipe does not leak out minute traces of .. you know what! Again, if the bed-head shares the same wall as the bath tub etc.. in my opinion; this is not as bad as above.

1. Most of us assume that when the topic of water is mentioned, it really has to be real water 2. One must understand the real "meat" or "juice" behind the concept of water. 3. When we have a water position, it often means that nothing can be built above e.g. A pool or pond = flat space. 4. Thus if this is a condo unit and one's unit is directly facing the pool, this implies clear space. It is like space even for a bird to fly freely in this space. 5. Thus this space is also known as VIRTUAL water. 6. If one has a garden, and if one has a pond or water feature most likely there is clear space within the pool. 6.1 Contrast this with some older homes in Singapore especially in the 1970's where mango trees were planted. 6.2 Here in 10 years time this tree would often cast a shadow and for homes that have a smaller garden, the frontage of the home would be dim and it no longer enjoys a bright hall or clear space effect. 7. Thus for this reason, ain't it better to have a water position irregardless of whether the flying star numbers are good or not. As the key element is based on Shapes and Forms Feng Shui. 8. Under Fluing Star Feng Shui, a water position is often used as an enhancer especially there are good or excellent water stars like #8 and even #1. 9. Sometimes it is also used to help neutralize a bad sector. 10. In your case, although the water star is the auspicious future prosperity star #9; however in the current period #8, this is still a fire element. It would be considered very auspicious if a water position is placed there on or after 2024 onwards, but today, not so unless it is better than para 6.2. 11. Another consideration is the #3 and #4. #3 being bad wood, and a water feature may accidentally inflame it. 12. Otherwise still possible for a water position given the stars with that sector; provided a water feature that consists of all five events in it. 1. Feng Shui is a holistic approach and depends on two major concepts:- 1.1 Shapes and Forms Feng Shui 1.2 Compass School Feng Shui 2. In my opinion, you have barely scratched the surface; as you have just looked only at the Eight house concept which is by itself is not complete as this theory and concept belongs to one-half of the Compass School Feng Shui. 3. In my opinon, between white or "gold"; white would be a better alternative. As often some may mistaken gold for "yellow" colour especially for the walls. As the are nasty M5 (Bad StrongYellow) with M2 (also Bad Weak Yellow). And most of the time, even gold or shiny coloured curtains may also look yellowish. This we do not want to have in such a bedroom. Furthermore, if we add warm white lights. Thus, this bedroom should best use "cool day" type of lights. Based on the five elements concept; especially for a young baby or child; often their toys or materials e.g. bed sheets have cartoon type of characters. Thus, if there are a range of colours; then even if we include bright yellow ain't too bad. For example, many babies or children's items have say green, yellow, (blue or black) and red. If all the three major primary colours such as Green / Red / Blue (Black) and some also consider yellow as one of the primary colours are present then; no worries, you have all (or nearly) all of the five elements. This is the best bet for such a bedroom.

Especially for condominum units in Singapore, often an Interior Designer would strongly recommend one to the owner. Perhaps; in my opinion; there may be a hidden agenda to this: especially if the unit is brand new; everything has been provided for: flooring done, kitchen cabinets done, wardrope done.. so the interior designer would often recommend things like false ceiling, mirror(s) for the dining area, partition etc.... 8. From a Feng Shui point of view, the longer the duration, the greaterthe it averages out would apply.

In my opinion, it is harder to visualize your situation; just from lots of text info. I guess since you have some positive results from placing the bogus mirror; then continue with placing it and monitor your situation.

In my opinion, the most common colour for a home ceiling is white. There are also trends: for example; around ten years ago; many new developments especially condominium units use barley white for both the interior walls and even the ceilings. There are homes that uses wooden beams and planks especially, those per-war homes in Singapore. Since these are natural wood; they are often brown or wood tone colour. So far hardly ever come across ceiling in grey especially for homes. Some business establishment does use such colours. The adage is if not sure; don't use it applies.
