1. In my opinion, technically, all the arguments are logical. 2. Majority of the time, below the staircase (or same spot) as the staircase, many contruct a store room. And this can help to "lock up the bad stars". In addition, it is always better not to have a bedroom or living area with really bad stars vs that of the staircase. 3. It is known fact that if possible, the stairs are covered (top and side). 4. As for wooden staircase, concrete, metal, all these can be based on the Five elements concept - if it does not have an impact of the building code, no issue. 5. Many homes with flaws such as corkscrew staircases etc.. may not necessarily give it a disadvantage. Fo…

Hi, Please read below:- Actually, if you look at it realistically. Why do you ever want to put a painting or candles in the bathroom? I mean won't the steam from hot/warm water, damage it or put our the candles? So far from what I know of this, I don't find anything wrong with having shower curtains. I don't think that belongs to any Feng Shui related issues. The rational behind it is that if you notice that flying star always changes, and it is definitely possible for the bad stars to fall in any one of the true sectors (eg 0 degree, 45 degree etc). So when this happens the good chi which say happens to be southwest this year would go down the drain? So, because…

1. In my opinion, you got it all mixed up. Both authority and determination are nothing close to relation or spouse sort of thing. 1.1. Authority refers to things like leadership skill. And more authoritative in nature. 1.2.While determination is really what it means; being determined. 2. Ba Zi Day Pillar:- 2.1 In a detailed ba zi report; 2.1.1 On relationships; please check out the sample partial extract of a detailed ba zi report. IN PURPLE: the day pillar says it all " SELF and SPOUSE" 2.1.2 House of Conception For the male; this represents the SPOUSE. And for the female her CHILD.

Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: What if my chart shows earned wealth 0, main funds 3, unexpected wealth 1 and unexpected funds 1? How should these be analysed then? It seems that I have much moreskills and talents than wealth. Am I right? Just wondering can skills bring about wealth in this case? Or any relation? 1-2 deities quite average. 3-4 a little more. So yes, it would seems that you have a little more skills, than direct wealth luck. You have to find out for yourself what are your skills, by means of skills it can be anything (ie. some people very good with maths, music, art etc). Say if good in maths, then becoming some engineering can be beneficial, good in arts m…

1. Frankly, it depends. 2. Thus the clash is dependant on what elements (which of the Five elements) clash with what element.

Toh H. wrote: Hi, Can you kindly advise what items to buy or bring when moving into a 2nd house? Thank you. Zoey 1. Wow! Congratulations: Youare so rich!To own a " 2nd house!" 2. You can find all the resources related to: first time open door totypical move-in procedure from this url:- http://info.geomancy.net 4. 1. Frankly, even amongst (us) geomancer's; many of us cannot even agree on the issue of the facing direction. 2. But the main concensus is that the facing direction can be the door, the facaade of the building, the stack BUT However, it should be the place where it has the most yang qi. 3. Usually if it is an existing home, there should be some "history". If so, several flying charts could be created and analysed. 4. An experienced geomancer, would normally analyse the habit(s) of their client; e.g. always close or open their main door, windows fully or partially opened or closed all the time. The activity area such as the living room etc.... 5. Therefore, it is wishf…

Dear Fran, 1. Frankly, it is difficult to advise you based on a few descriptions. 2. Perhaps, if you have a photo taken from the cul de sac, showing partially the cul de sac, it would be ideal. 3. This is because, usually where the major `force' hits your home, this is the vulnerable area. And if the vulnerable area is a wall, this is quite OK. 4. But if it `hits' say the main door directly or a window of the house, then, a cure should be used. 5. Even if it hits the house, but if the house is angled, this should not be an issue. 6. Let me illustrate a serious cul de sac situation. Please refer to the attached layout plan (not available to those who listen in using a mail…

These are some considerations: 1. Some geomancers strictly define the main entrance as "standing inside the main door looking outwards". 2. If so, then this answers yourquestion. 3. Why we need to take a compass reading? 4. Taking a compass reading is not merely to do it for the sake that it has to be done! 5. The true reason is to find where the most "Yang Qi" be it: especially wind enter the home most of the time and a plus if there is yang qi (brightness). 6. Why? 7. As the clue is based on Para 3, above: compass. The main purpose is to use this to try and figure out where is the most yang qi ; thus where is the FACING direction of a home. In doing so, we can then acc…

1. Frankly, this is considered as "superficial" and highly unlikely to change to a new period. 2. Take note of the most conservative thoughts:- 2.1 Honestly, some very conservative Feng Shui practitioners today, even do mention that without uprooting the entire home, to them the home is still but belonging to that period. 2.2 Here, the super conservative FS practitioners believe that even major A and A (Alterations and Amendments) may not change as they believe that as long as the foundation is left untouched, to them it is still felt to be under the previous Period. 2.3 To them, a total change of qi is where the whole home inclusive of the foundations NEED to be "u…

The reason saltwater is that it contains sodium ions which like metal is a conductor. Interestingly this would mean the sea itself would be metal !!

1. Typically, it is advisable to keep the garage separate from the main living space, but this decision ultimately hinges on the overall layout of the house. In certain cases, integrating the garage with the home may be unavoidable. 2. In general, the devil's gate concept can be linked to the Flying Star theory. If the northeast sector exhibits predominantly "yin" Flying Star numbers, then this could raise some red flags. Otherwise, it is usually not a significant concern. +++ In Summary " The inclusion of the garage in a home's Feng Shui considerations depends on the overall energy balance of the property. Additionally, the alignment of devil's gate w…

You wrote: Nowadays, many apartments (HDB or private development) comes with balcony or planter. Would like to seek your advice if these areas need to be brightly and well lit at night or is it OK to leave these areas unlit at night? These are some considerations: 1. In my opinion, contrary to what you had written; in fact, long time ago as far as 1968 onwards; many apartments do have either a balcony or the many thousands of 1 room and 3 room HDB a COMMON corridor. This includes the HUDC flats and private flats. 2. Especially these common corridor is a "cheaper" form of balcony; but they are still some form of a corridor cum balcony. 3. Even today, many HDB blocks ha…

Yes, it is difficult to say not to clean it. But, in your situation, if there MUST be a need to service or clean the air con, and if you do have other family members (not stakeholders or breadwinners) perhaps could arrange for someone who services aircon. Here, make an appointment with the aircon service person; and if possible, ask one of your family members to be around; and if you can; the breadwinner disappear like the plaque for the period; the servicing of the fan coil ...

Dear David, A person's favourable element is never just one element. A Strong Fire has 3 different favourable elements:- 1. Earth (yellow) 2. Water (blue/black/gray) 3. Metal (white/gold) also known as the wealth element. So in fact you can use any of the above 3 different elements in different parts of your life to enhance your luck. Even for your Five Element, there are different percentage for each element so sometimes certain element that you have too much you do not want to have too much more, instead it is often better to have a balance element. ie. 5 element each broken in percentage whereby all elements should try to achieve 20%. So those, which you have too much …

Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: Please can you advise me on where to install my water feature. The best place to place a water feature that is auspicious for Feng Shui is to find where your water wealth location is within your house. For example, a Period 8 house, the current wealth is star 8, future wealth is star 9 and future future wealath is star 1. For period 7 house, the current wealth is star 7, future wealth is star 8, future future wealth is star 9. etc. So sectors where these 3 star is located are he better sectors within the house to place the water feature so as to activate the water wealth luck.
