Sorry if I made a lot of mistakes on my flying stars, but this is now the correct one. Please advice. In curing and enhancing my stars, what should I follow, period 7 flying star chart or Flying star chart of 2005. In my period 7 chart, there is mountain star 9, water star 7 and base star # 8 in the northwest sector which is also my death sector . This sector is my kitchen where I do a lot of cooking and washing of the dishes. What can I do with this sector so that Chue Meng will not harm me so much. Flying star 5 this year is in the NW sector, so I have cured it with metals like windchimes and 6 emperor coins. I also placed a dragon headed tortoise to negate Chue Meng…

Frankly, I can only offer very general advise, as proper Feng Shui or the application of Flying star Feng Shui looks at the three variables such as the Mountain / Water and Base star numbers to provide a better clue or understanding of the current situation. Currently, it is now like the "blind, leading the blind" type of situation. As proper Feng Shui is about mapping the entire senario or situation i.e. exactly finding where , and what type of "leaks" is at your home /room and directly zoom into it. At best, or the current reasonable approach for you is to do "Feng Shui by Trial and Error". Quote: Akay J. wrote: Hi I am the one who changed the single matress to queen…

These are some considerations:- 1. Based on this year's Flying Star Chart:- 2011 Flying Star Forecast North 8 3 1 9 7 5 4 2 6 South Take note the following sectors:- Sickness Star this year is at South Misfortune/Sickness Star this year is at East Disputes/Quarrel Star this year is at North Education/Romance Star this year is at South-West Grand Duke this year is East, 90 Degree. - Avoid sitting facing the grand duke or disturbing him by having renovations. Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: I understand that flying star 8(be it a mountain star or water star), it is considered auspicious star in period 8. Would like to know, in period 9, whether flying star 8 remains as good star or otherwise. Shall I conclude that flying star 8 remains as a good star in any periods. The same star number found as the reigning period will always be the current prosperity. ie. Period 8 Fading Prosperity = star 7 Current Prosperity = star 8 Future Prosperity = star 9 ie. Period 9 Fading Prosperity = star 8 Current Prosperity = star 9 Future Prosperity = star 1 So the answer to your question is that your star 8 will be fading prosperity when it c…

Further to what I had mentioned, thereare some other considerations:- 1. In theory, certain elements can be used to either enhance or neutralise a sector. 2. For inauspicious sector(s); the "ideal academic" cure is to completely neutralise the bad or bad elements # in a specific sector. 3. While in some instances, we can not only neutralise but enhance that sector or again the key is the balance in a sector. 4. The rationale why, I don't really want to go thru each and every detail of such postings.. for example, you had written down certain assumptions; there is really no end to the number of configurations be it thru the productive or destructive cycle. 5. In …

Dear Amy, 1. Perhaps, you may like to consider the expert help option (We do it for you). 2. Each of us have our own birth-chart. And the distinction between Eight House and Flying Star Feng Shui is similar. 3. Both takes into consideration the "birth-chart" of a home. 4. As mentioned above, each of us have our birth-chart. Same goes for a home. 5. Given this understanding, we need to balance the elements in a home's "birth-chart". And the Flying Star Chart actually analyses the "birth-chart" of a home. 6. Therefore, even if one is a metal element or other element, we MUST first balance the birth-chart of our home. One way is based on the advice provided in a Flying Star …

From a Feng Shui point of view: Eight Aspirations is static. And in the past, and even under the Lin Yun era of Black Hat (Tantric) sect; was very popular. Where you had mentioned North = Water etc... But the Eight Aspirations is a "fixed" model and does not consider TIME DIMENSION as compared to the timely stars of the Flying Star Feng Shui. In the 1970'sespecially1980's: a hiredgeomancer who proclaims that one needs a water position at North would not be questioned. But today, a client who is reasonably versed in basic Feng Shui would seriously question such a judgement or rather no brainer geomancer!

Dear Anon, Before I elaborate on your question, I like to share with you a little about the Compass School Theory such as the Flying Star theory. In my opinion, I believe that one way of looking at Feng Shui audit lies with the inclination of the Feng Shui practioner. I mentioned in a few forum messages sometime back that some of us are more inclined to being a Left brain while others are Right brained. I mentioned `inclined' because unlike the continuum of Hot and Cold, most of us are somewhere in the `middle'. We are not totally `left' or `right'. Some of us are more artistic, spatial etc.. On the other end, others are `logical', enjoys mathematics etc... To a certain …

Dear Anon, In a recent upgrade of the Members Area, the Free flying star analysis report on the website is no longer limited in anyway. Although, the support for it will still be limited. As we do not have the time to explain to each user who post us the full chart and expect us to explain it. A full version is already available which does a comprehensive analysis, where Cecil and myself can then focus not on the calculation but rather the actual application of the report. The free report will then allow you to make your own conclusion on your house. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee

Dear Cecil Many thanks for the reply. To be very frank, all this while I thought our hse facing is NE. Since last year all by sudden our son's health was affected I did not follow-up the fengshui but yet I do support your forum. Looks like now its more refreshing course again for me. I'm sorry if I'm asking too much of it.I have a question thatneedyour guidence. Since our house gua 1 Kan (North3) Excellent and main door NE2(Spook) compare the breadwinner gua 2 (Kun).North direction is his Death but NE is his Prosperity does that mean the house is not suitable to him. Lately, our business was affected too. As I know bazi is to involved into it. The business was involved…

Dear Bradley Hope, Bradley Hope wrote: Can some one please explain the Flying Star chart to me. Flying Star is the use of numerology to assess the luck of the house. It is made up of numbers 1 to 9. Depending on how the number interacts with each other, you get different analysis or interpretations. Each sector is usually made up of 3 basic numbers (ie. 8-4-3). Where 8 is the mountain star, 4 is the base star, 3 is the water star.Together it will allow a practitioner to understand and assess the Qi of the house. Dear Fiona, Yes, I do agree with your analysis. Under Period 8, if your home has a SE 2 Flying star chart; it is not really a fantastic chart since only the front and back have good numbers. Otherwise, as you had mentioned, majority of the other sectors under SE 2 (P8) needs attention. Therefore, it is like a double edged sword, if the home were to fly to Period 8. No, although there is the pearl string, but you still need to place a cure for star #7 especially at the frontage. However, once this is neutralised; this is fair game:) Do use the alternative door, you mentioned. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Joyce, 1. I am not sure if you are familiar with the atttached method of finding the main door of the house:- http://www.geomancy.net/fs/cecilcompass.htm 2. If you have the layout plan and have difficulty finding the centrepoint e.g. especially if the house has many missing corners, then you - scan and attached it to this forum for me to help locate the centrepoint. Alternatively, you can email me for my fax no. (if need be). 3. I believe, the description you mentioned in finding the main entrance may not be `correct' as what I can understand. You need to be at the centrepoint of the house and from there, find the direction of the main entrance door. There may be dev…

Dear Master Cecil, As I was going through the FLYING STAR CHART for my home where I had done the comparing chart between PERIOD 7 HOME under period 8 vs PERIOD 8 HOME under period 8.Obviously there were a few things which I feel to need to cross check and determine whether it is best to "transform" my home into PERIOD 8.Anyway, my home faces WEST 2 (270). FIRSTLY, NOTICE THAT MOST OF THE HOUSE BEDROOM SECTOR REPRESENT AUSPICIOUS COMBINATION IF REMAIN UNDER PERIOD 7 HOME.WHERE ESLE,IF PERIOD 8 NOTED STAR #5 #2 AND # 7 ARE THERE. SECONDLY,THE MAIN DOOR AREA AND CENTRE AREA UNDER PERIOD 8 HOME CONSIST AUSPICIOUS COMBINATION ESPECIALLY DOUBLE STAR # 8 ON THE MAIN DOOR AREA. T…

1. The smart, gets good advise the first time they search for a new home. They do it once, RIGHT, that's all. And the smart goes to concentrate on better things to do! 2. The ignorant, buys the home and then pays Feng Shui emporiums to stock their homes with rubbish products. 3. The ignorant, also asks Geomancers for first-aid in the form of "pasting elastoplast" all over their "leaking" home. So which is more important? Invest in advise to purchase a good home? Or wait until the home is purchased before calling a Geomancer to apply first-aid to resuccitate the home?

1. It is not rocket science as all flying star numbers are either classifed as eitherYang or Yin (stars). 2. In the earlier example of a Period 8, N3 home (or apartment); it just happens that there are a high concentration of Yin stars at the North and NE. 3. Thus, especially if we draw a 20 Year Flying Star Chart; and like para 2, found that all the 20 Year stars belong to Yin element, then it is considered as Excessive Yin stars. 4. In both of the cases e.g. North and NE of the above, "fire" element is used to counter the excessive yin stars. Fire can simply be allowing light into that area or room i.e. keep it bright. Otherwise, especially in period where the Year …

Dear Ivy, Thanks for your comments and your personal experience on the use of the Flying Star theory. As for the Flying Star course, I am still currently working on it and refining it. My believe is not to `rush' and put up a course but rather, the quality that matters. I will e-mail you at your address given once the course materials is launched. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear C VU, 1. Yes, when we talk about enhancements, we often focus on #mountain and #water stars, such as #mountain and #water stars. 2. For instance, if the frontage or facing position shows #7 mountain with #7 water, then because both are metal elements, we can confidently introduce “water.” 3. Still, it’s just as much a mistake to overlook the base number. We also have to consider all 81 combinations of #mountain and #water stars. 4. As a quick recap:- 4.1 Look at #mountain and #water in connection with the specific location. For example, if the back of the home or mountain side displays #7 with #7, then we should carefully assess whether we can activate it p…
