1. You can use the Search feature on the left right frame of this forum to search for things like: "Change to Period 8" on past resources. 2. In my opinion, what you have described often does not change your house to a new Period. 3. Changing the stove alone to chnage the house period should again in my opinion to be taken with a pinch of salt. The saying goes.. if it sounds so good... it may not be far from the truth....

Dear Daniel, I strongly encourage everyone to first grasp the fundamental principles of Feng Shui. When discussing two main doors, we are focusing solely on the 'end result' rather than the underlying causes of the situation. It is essential to comprehend the root of the matter; initially, the number of main doors—whether two or three—is not the primary concern. In 'proper' Feng Shui, if a house has two doors, it is advisable to conduct a Feng Shui audit to explore the scenarios associated with using Door A versus Door B. If one door is found to be more auspicious than the other, it is preferable to utilize that door more frequently for our own purposes. Our con…

Dear Anon, There is certainly truth in this practise. Thanks for pointing it out to everyone. The brass knob is akin to a convex surface which reflects out. In the past, before glass mirrors came out, brass `mirrors' were in use. This is another method of `deflecting' sha qi thou a `mild' form. What I mean by `mild' form is that it is considered a defensive method rather than offensive method. One can classify it as under the same category as the semi-circular carpet. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Anon, `Arrows' and even forks are used not really to divert Qi but to neutralise Sha Qi. For example, if one has a circular staircases visible from the main entrance door. The ideal situation is to use a screen. But it is not possible to screen off from the rest of the house e.g. living room. Some Feng Shui practioners will use e.g. golden arrows i.e. a pair to neutralise it from (two)different locations. Forks (as in spoons and forks) can also be used for the above purpose. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Katrina Blue, katrina blue wrote: i'm just a beginner in this but it seems that having toilet next to the entrance and bathroom in the centre of apartment (bathtub exactly in the centre) is very bad? i cant make any major changes, but can you advice some help? please, because it seems this days my life is in chaos... Unfortunately, those are two inauspicious influence to have in the house. 1. Toilet close to main door isn't auspicious as the Qi is like dirtied by the toilet Qi. 2. Toilet close to center influence of the house is like a leak of weath where all the influence meet. Unfortunately, since you cannot make major changes to move the toilet location, then …

Dear Nat, 1. Usually, the most effective method (especially) if there are no windows at this sector is the use of a full length mirror at this sector. 2. Only if the above resources are exhausted, should you then consider painting e.g. using a more yang colour. Between red or purple, I would choose purple as red can be too `bright' for the home. But if given the choice between pink or purple, I would instead choose pink colour. 3. You should check what is the significance of the missing corner. For example using the reference under this link: http://www.geomancy.net/fs/building.htm 4. If the missing corner (defined as greater than 33.3 percent of that sector) has a major …

Dear Doris, There are several dimensions of Feng Shui or degrees of "understanding" what is good or bad Feng Shui. For example: 1. Enhancing Qi Some Feng Shui actions or activities are to enhance qi or to boost qi in a home. For example such as activating #8 under Flying Star Feng Shui. Where especially #8 has to do with the current water wealth location. 2. Neutralising Sha Qi or Poison arrows There are also imbalances caused e.g. by a pointed roof aimed towards our home e.g. a lone street lamp slicing into our main entrance etc... 3. Commonsense approach to Feng Shui Fortunately, from what I can gather, yours has to do with a toilet above the main entrance door…

Dear Anon, Frankly, as you have mentioned, your dorm room is squarish. Many leaders (in the industry) started like yourself staying in a dorm. More importantly, mentally, one would have an idea of how, one's "work" flow is like. Asyour dorm serves both as a place of sleep and "study", try to work out the best layout based on your personal feel, liking and "habits". Since you are doing work on a laptop, some of us may feel comfortable working from our bed, while others may work better sitting on a proper table and chair. You have to see your habit and try to maximize your layout to the way you study and sleep. Some of us work better facing a window, while others may f…

So sorry I believe there are no books on the subject of x3 Roosters that I am aware of! Frankly, in my opinion, it is a coincidence of x3 Roosters and as you have mentioned, should not have an impact on your dad's "scam" issue. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Anon, I do understand your problem. Are there any clues from visual appearance. For example, especially the type of flooring laid. Alternatively, is there a fresh coat of paint on the ceiling. One is able to change the `birth chart' of the house .. for example .. by painting the ceiling. If you had obtain a paid report, please email : robert-lee@3dmail.com privately to provide you with the credit to generate another paid credit. Here, you can find out or compare whether it is more auspicious for the house to be in period 7 or previous period. If you can find out that there was some renovation especially in period 6, we can provide u the report also for Period 6. The …

1. The critical concern for a stove at the back of the home is to visual whether any "expected" high-pressure low-pressure situations occur usually before heavy rains start. 2. This is particuarly true for terrace homes where the openings are at the front of the home and the backyard side. 3. Thus the question asked is "how will changing air-pressures" have on the stove ie. extinguish the flame and let gas continue to flow dangeriously on or let the flame "shoot" out dangerously from the side or towards the front towards the operatior. 4. When all these considerations are looked at; we try also to see whether the stove can match the ba zi of the female breadwinner of…

If the concern, is the main door facing the stairs, then the best way is to have a screen or partition to block the path of the main door and stairs. This is provided you have some space to have this partition which is the best solution for this problem. Anonymous wrote: I also have an …

These are some of the considerations:- 1. iFeng-Shui is not a "cure-all" or "everything is iFung-Sway" sort of thing. 2. iName selection only iApplies if one wants to iSelect a iMandarin iName. And there are iTraditional iMethods of doing so; 2.1. iMainly, the name should yield good "ratings" under the iFive-Elements iConcept and equally have a real good meaning or good IPhonetic iSound (if iPossible). 3. There is no precedence when selecting a iName other than a iMandarin (iChinese iName). 4. Thus even if you try to select a name like sayiWear ; one day.. when iApple goes into the iClothing iBusiness; they will "take away" that iName. 5. Thus if you are selecting an iEn…

Dear Stan, 1. It is difficult to give a general comment as to whether firstly: 1.1. A perceived threat is truly a threat 1.2 Even if it is a threat: often such a threat cannot be neutralised unless that specific threat e.g. is torn down. In all my messages, I often do not want to give false hope. It is akin to giving the party a sugar coated pill. It may perhaps sounds good but often in-effective. Especially for things like `penetrating' and other types of sha qi. 1.3 Frankly, it is therefore, very difficult here to pose a few lines of questions and a standard `stereo' type answer appears. 2. Overall, such specific case demands a full audit to access the situation both …

Dear Master Cecil Thanks very much your prompt reply. However, I think I did not make myself clear. My wealth element is wood hence I am a Strong Metal and not wood person as you mentioned in your reply. Can a Strong Metal person take up a Wood career since Wood is my wealth element? I am very keen in getting a tattoo on the lower back and not bigger than our palm size, the design is based on the "karma" word, but i am not sure whether it'll be in chinese or sanskrit. My friend told me that tattoos will change a person's luck, so I am concerned and unsure if it will be a good idea to get one for myself. I'm born in 1985 and a female. I would appreciate it if an expert could clear my doubts and I am open for suggestions and comments. Thank you very, very …

Dear Anon, There is much truth in this statement: 1. Grass or grass that is regularly `trimmed' is the near equivalent to a water position. The logic behind it is clear. Grass allows the space to be flat and clear of obstructions. 2. If one plant a tree, in no time, it will outgrow its size and become large. It is inauspicious particularly to grow a lone tree on the side of a house. A lone tree in Feng Shui implies that the tree can harbour a spirit. A large tree at the front of the house (e.g. on either side of the main door) creates a Yin environment. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Anon, 1. In my opinion, this has more to do with `beliefs' than Feng Shui. 2. However, if we look at some Chinese `beliefs', the Chinese favour `pairs' rather than a single object. 3. I am not sure how magical a Dragon Horse figurine or statue can be, but as you have mentioned, may use one or from the opinion of others two `Dragon Horse' may not necessary make any difference in our wealth. Well no harm to place 1 or a pair (2). Warmest Regards Cecil

Further to what I had mentioned, 1. Authentic Feng Shui, Chinese divinity methods and Chinese medicine, food etc.. revolves around the Five elements concept. 2. Earlier, we have seen that Ba Zi makes use of an element and it's strength. E.g. weak wood or strong wood person? There is a total difference between the two. 3. Each day can be classified into strong or weak element. E.g. strong water element. 4. Under this new resource, please go thru the reply to Question 2:- http://www.geomancy.net/resources/art/arowanafish.htm For example, under Shapes and Forms, even the material and the design of a fountain conforms to the Five Elements concept. In some of the replies unde…

Further to what I had mentioned:- 1. Please do a SEARCH under this forum for words like ` Xia Li ' or ` Hsia ' or ` intercalary ' to understand more about the Hsia calendar system widely used by `Hong Kong' or Hong Kong related practitioners. 2. Many of those that learnt the Hsia have migrated or returned to countries like Canada (many Hong Kongers have migrated there), the United States. Because of it's education under Britian, this is largely the voice of " Geomancy" in the pre-1990's era. 3. Often, the China or Taiwanese form or the `Fukien' or Hokkien School which uses the Lunar Calendar was not well known; because many Taiwan (where many practitioners fled to under …

Dear Carlo, Anonymous wrote: Hi, I'm confused about the best sleeping position. In the free reports, thebest sleep position looksdifferent from the best work or study position. So, for sleeping I have to have the best direction for me behind my head when laying down on my bed? It looks like you have to face in the opposite direction. Is this correct? For the other positions (work, study), itlooks like you have to have your head facing towards your best direction. Is this also correct? Yes, sleeping position is where say East is Longevity, your head should point to East and your feed point opposite in the West. This is because you are sleeping so your head should be pointe…

1. In general, the wine industry is considered as belonging to the "Water" element. Reference: http://talk.geomancy.net 2. If you are promoting the "investment" into wines; then from your company's point of view; you should be considered as belonging to the Fire element: Marketing and Sales of wine. Especially if your company's purpose is to make a profit and in your case, you most probably, you may get a commission. 3. Although the term "investment" can be found under the Metal element, in the above link, personally, I feel this "investment" is strongly associated more with the Banking industry and meant more for the investor than the person, encouraging one to invest…
