Hi Robert Lee, Thanks for your reply ! I am glad to hear your detailed explanations and feel a little at ease now. I have actually booked the solemnization date at ROM on 18th March 2005. And my marriage is an international marriage. My future spouse is a Japanese and I am Singaporean. If I would like to check if this date is suitable for both of us(me & my future spouse), how can I do it through you? How much do you charge ? Hope to hear from you soon! Thanks ! Regards.

1. In order to be "attacked" by a poision arrow, it is often the sharp corner of another mega building close-by. 2. At sixteenth floor; so long as especially your unit living room window does not over-look at a "pole" like structure that directly slices the living room, then it does not pose an issue. For bedrooms, also, so long as it does not slice any of the rooms thru the bedroom, this is not an issue. However, a simple day curtain especially for a bedroom can easily help to "cover" it. Thus if it no longer is seen it no longer can create a poison arrow. 3. This tower is significant especially if one has a child studying in a bedroom. For example, if the tower is to …

Dear Anon, 1. You brought up an interesting question. 2. Honestly, at present I really do not have the answer. This is because, there are very few houses I personally come across with a bedroom at the centre location of the house. Usually, this would either be clear space, the staircase area or the hallway and even toilet locations. More commonly part of the living or dinning area. 3. Another reason is because bedroom suppose to be private area i.e. four walls and windows /door and I cannot imagine a bedroom at the centre and yet, have windows surrounding at least one side. 4. Assuming that you sleep at the centre room, then it is difficult to apply the Eight House conce…

Dear Anon, For the benefit of new users, NE is called the Devil's Gate while SW is the Devil's Backdoor. On the other hand, NE is also considered the Heaven's gate also. I sincerely believe that the author only generalises the NE and SW. In fact, as I mentioned above, it is also the gate of Heaven. From many personal experiences; especially the NE can be `controlled' i.e. avoiding a large lone tree, large pools of water and any other thing that helps to reduce the Yin forces. Emphasis on Yang elements at this sector. One very neutral thing to do is to keep the location bright. Where possible avoid Metallic wind chimes as this may inadvertenly enhance or attract Yin for…

Dear Eric, South-West sector is suppose to be a location that "encourages" harmony of interpersonal relationships and if at work i.e. teamwork. I am not sure if it can improve or attract love into your life by placing something there e.g. plants (but you can try) -- "no harm". Just wondering

Hi, Reference to right hand drive, can I check if house 1 under the picture is considered as in path of poison arrow? Is T-junction only applicable when its direct 90 degrees head on? Also, if there is a temple house separated by another 2 house, is it ok in terms of fengshui? Thanks!

1. In my opinion, from the top view, it does not look as bad or does not seem to have any issue. Perhaps, the normal view may show some issue or concern which we may not be aware off. 2. Should there be a concern or issue(s); some of the standard cure(s) could be:- 2.1. Gates that perhaps have wooden planks on them such that the block the offending view from "hurting" the main door. 2.2. Tilting door. (Warning... this should be done by an FS expert). 3. Otherwise, a small road is "peanuts" as compared to major issues like a "T" junction etc.... Y S. wrote: Is that a fengshui problem of this house? The front door is facing a very small road in a community. How to solv…

1. Earth element is abundant and is always "there" in every season i.e. Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter. 2. Roughly, when spring is near it's end, earth element is suppose to be at it's strongest and this cycle appears at the end of summer, autumn etc.. 3. Although #2 is considered as the future prosperity, in a proper Flying star chart, all three variables need to be considered i.e. Mountain, Water and Base star. 4. Flying star Feng Shui is based on time dimensions. And while realistically, we can only analyse sectors in general for the next 20 years "average". There are so called: Yearly, Monthly, Daily, Hourly stars. Thus a sector may suddenly find itself with #2 …

Hello, Is the building across and to the left of my apartment a poison arrow? Or is it ok because the arrow is not directly facing me? If it is a poison arrow, could you please tell me how I can protect my home? Thank you,

Dear Anon, The convent is considered a Yin location where e.g. a `depository' such as problems etc... This would account for some like yourself who has a dislike for the facing direction. You can for e.g. have a barrier e.g. fencing with plants to shield your home from the view of the convent. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Jackie, Since you are a Southwest person, more importanly, you should try to sleep with your head facing either one of the following:- West - Health SW - Excellent NW - Longevity NE - Prosperity Yes, it is not auspcious for the bedroom door to face the kitchen sink. This is akin to `water' flushing down the sink. The best option here is not to close the door when not `in use'. Alternatively, (not compulsory) but an option only: install a beaded curtain or a curtain on the door. -----Original Message-----

Dear Jen, 1. Attached please find an illustration of how one can use a protractor to find the main entrance door. 2. A protractor can either be a 360 degrees one as shown in the attached. Or even a 180 degrees protractor is still possible to use. 3. In my opinion, a protractor similar to the one in the picture can easily be purchased in a book or stationery store. And such a protractor costs between US$1 to US$4 or less. Warmest Regards, Cecil

The 2 garage doors and driveway of this house face NE and the main street. However, the main entrance (front door) is on the side of the building, and faces S. Which is the direction of this house, NE or S?

Dear Betty, Under the Eight Aspirations or Life Associations where each trigram is associated with an aspect of life. Here are the significance of each trigram and their direction: North - Career South - Fame East - Health West - Children North East - Education North West - Helfpul patrons South East - Wealth South West - Romance / Marriage Therefore, to answer your question, Health is neither at West or North but at the East. The above is based on the Later (last) Heaven Sequence. 1. We cannot `compare' this theory with the Shapes and Form School where the Shapes and Form can be applied to every location. The Eight Aspirations is considered too general to be applied to e…

Hi, Thanks for raising such a refreshingly new question. In general, on a macro level, hospitals are considered YIN locations. Frankly, all of us (doctors and nurses included) have a reasonable level of personal AURA to protect ourselves from YIN elements. 1. Nurses and physicians are in constant motion, generating active Qi. 2. Patients fall into several categories: - Some patients are frail and weak, and these individuals tend to have more YIN. - The majority of patients are in the process of recovery, and in certain hospitals, there are different ward classes. Some of the higher classes offer TVs, or rooms shared by four peopl…

Hi, I had written this short article in the past: http://www.geomancy.net/fs/pakua.htm 1. We are trying to romanized all words used in the website and the correct term for Pakua is Ba Gua. (Pakua is a Hokkien term - a dialect of the Chinese). 2. Please do not be mistaken an ordinary mirror with a Ba Gua Mirror. An ordinary mirror is considered `Yin'. Too much of the mirror will create a too yin environment. 3. Please read the above article and you will understand the difference between: The First Heaven and Last Heaven Ba Gua and their use. Warmest Regards, Cecil

In Feng Shui, so long as:- 1. More concerned is placed on the Shapes and Form School of Feng Shui. For example, the bed is not next to a window or sleeping under a beam for a prolonged time, bedroom should preferably not be above the kitchen. A poison arrow e.g. the sharp edge of a table `slicing' the bed. These are some of the examples to take note in relation to Fe…

Hi Master Cecil Lee, I am keen in the project R&F, after you mention that the particular facing I am looking at is okay for buying. However, taking a closer look at the floor plan, as this layout is squarish, however with some slight protrusion here and there. Hence , if I complete the missing edges, I find that by marking a cross at the ends, the centre lies near or at the toilet of one of the bedroom. Is this considered bad , and I should abort buying? Or have I marked wrongly, as it is quite close, it may fall in the bedroom, or at the bedroom toilet. What is your determination of the centre of the house? …

Dear Jackie, Under traditional Feng Shui, there are a few sets of theories and this includes 9 Star Ki, an equivalent of Feng Shui numerology. Briefly, the main theories (Ranked) in importance are:- 1. Pillars of Destiny (to determine your true element) e.g. your true element and it's strength. This is ranked 1st (jointly ) with the Flying Star Theory (which looks at your house's birth chart). 2. Next, comes the Eight House theory which is used to determine the "Best house " for a person i.e. 4 good and 4 bad directions. Under the Eight House theory, you get a general reading of what is known as the Eight Associations or Eight Aspirations or Life Aspirations. Where this…

Hello Master, my wife's birth cert (date of birth) has a high probability that it is not accurate due to a lax enforcement 40 years ago in her village at the time. If I want to do a BaZi reading for myself and her to find out our element compatibility, is it still possible? If not, is there another way?
