1. Strictly from a Shapes and Forms, position, the only "threat" that you may have to take note is the bedroom door. 2. The illustration shows that if your door is "half-closed" or "half-opened", the door is like a blade and may slice into the master bed .... as shown in a straight line "in purple colour" in the attachment. 3. For this bedroom, either fully open the door as you had illustrated or even better, if it can fully open towards "the blue marking". Or simply close the bedroom door when going to sleep. 4. As for "cures" if you have applied Flying Star Feng Shui, then it would depend on the Flying Star numbers found in that bedroom.

I attended a seminar on baubiology. They offer a course in baubiology from florida. Usually, it is german concept of building homes which are in harmony with nature and also environmentally safe. They stress avoiding the water lines and electromagnetic lines and electric lines. According to their theory the houses should be built with environmental sound material. One should not sleep with telephones, electric clocks, tv and computer in the bedrooms etc. I attended the seminar last year. If I come across the notes and address of that course. I will post it. Usually, in this city there are some baubiology trained inspectors who come and inspect your homes for harmful rad…

These are some considerations:- 1. I would agree if the logic was because if one has a narrow or small living room, such an L-shaped sofa may not go well with the interior decor, that is all. 2. A sofa is always low height and I don't see the logic that it may result in an in-balance due to = sharp corner. 3. If one says that then, logically; rectangular dining tables or even squarish rectangular coffee table (if one buys the above argument implies that these are greater threats. 4. In Singapore, in my opinion, I often encounter modern homes with l-shaped sofas. At least 3 out of ten homes have them as this is like a lazy bed in thr living room.

As mentioned, previously, marking B or the rear is about common sense. And from your description, the front does not seem threatening.

Dear Pam, Please see below:- Generally, based on your description - i.e. comparision between these two homes, I would say your description of the gold-dust or the second home seems better:- Under commonsense approach to Feng Shui, also, this is quite rare, but -- remotely, if something do go wrong such as a land slide, then, such a home is not ideal. Land slide may never happen here, but there is always a remote possibility that cannot be discounted. Another sha qi or not favourable aspect of a home is to make sure that it is not exposed to elements - or "gale force" or strong winds. The wind coming to the property should in most cases, be "gentle type" as …

These are some considerations: 1. Avoid marriage and even move house during Chinese Lunar 6th month? 1.1. There is some "truth" in this. As in the past and even today; some old folks or elders say that 6th lunar month is "half-half". As this is the mid-point of the lunar year. 1.2. And doing thing or getting married on a half-half 50-50 month is as inauspicious as e.g. 7th lunar month or Qin Ming month. 2. Lowest common denominator: 2.1. Traditionally, there are two methods in selecting dates:- 2.1.1. Tung Shu This book comes out a few months before the next year. It is not tagged to anyone's birth-date(s). And often, very popular with road-side fortune-tellers. Thus if o…

Dear David, Teo Tai Wei David wrote: I have read up some article on feng shui that it is not advisable to keep aquarium in the bedroom and I am currently keeping 5 fighting fishes as pet. I have remove it and place it at my kitchen near my washing machine now. They are all housed in small jars with no pump and running water and thus the aquarium is a still water condition. Would they affect my house feng shui? Thank you. If you like it, there is no harm keeping fishes as pets. The only issue, is that such water feature especially large aquarium should not be keep in the bedroom. The reason is rather logical also, you see water in the fish tank tends to give off certain…

Hi, Basicially, Feng Shui is not a religion and thus there is no relevance to statues or `statue worship'. Feng Shui is both an art (Shapes and Form) and a science (Compass School: Eight House and Flying star). For those who are not aware, the Dragon Horse and the Dragon Turtle statues are derived from the two stories of how Fu Xi, a Chinese Emperor discovered the Luo Shu grid which is the mathematical formula on how the Flying Star base numbers, water and mountain stars are derived. The url for this story is under http://www.geomancy.net/fs/tortise.htm Similiarly, Flying Horse (Dragon horse) tells another story of another pattern found on this horse. I guess, some enterp…

But i have another fortune teller told me this "T" junction is badly affected my family health and suggest me to move out. If there is tree blocking in front, is it helping. Another question is the direction of kitchen is facing east and cooker is facing west which he say this 2 direction should be exchangeeach otherway, what is your say or opinion? I have a bigpole at car porch also blocking in front on mainentrance door( not main gate ), this will help to block the bad thing?

Ponder over this: MALE, HOUSEMAKER; WIFE = SUCCESSFUL BUSINESS PERSON OR HIGHLY SUCCESSFUL IN HER CAREER If your home has TWO stoves in a similar situation; take extra care! Your partner (spouse) may instead be the one to have HER - LOVER! Hahahaha! Think about it! Flower of Romance, can/may/could be REVERSED!

These are some considerations: 1. Just imagine a duck: we often see a duck gliding gracefully in a pond. 2. But, many of us never realise that the duck has to paddle (furiously) to look graceful. 3. Furthermore, this is a Free General Advice Forum. 4. Attached is a sample of the amount of work e.g. take many hours to come up with an analysis taking into consideration many factors. 5. Hope you understand, it is so easy to post a few lines of text and a layout plan. And PRESTO! everything is done for you FOC.

Unlike the Initial-opening which is also known as First-time-open-door procedure; just imagine; later on one should try to "warm-up" the kitchen. The best "warm-up" is the use of the stove. There is no harm to place the Fa Gao (Haut Quay) on the stove. Place it aside somewhere else later in the kitchen that's all. Frankly, the procedures are just symbolic. The act of bringing in the items are like "placing" wealth into a home. So long as the item and many other pass the main door; all it takes is simple commonsense. For example, if one were to bring in a packet of sugar, rice etc.. the natural thing is to stock up the kitchen. Be it, "now" or later. Do take note that ag…

These are some interesting links on the reversal of the earth's magnetic field. Although it may not happen sometime in the near future, at least... one day... when it happens; for Feng Shui practitioners (if earth still exists); Will have to first depend on the Shapes and Forms.. while a wide ranging debate much "worse" than the one that had happened in the 1990's where some AustralianGeomancers had the "wrong" idea that Flying star charts should be reversed just becauseof the experiment of "draining" the sink and water vortex is directly opposite that of the northern hemisphere... http://www.geomag.bgs.ac.uk/reversals.html http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Geomagnetic_r…

Anonymous wrote: 1. In view of fengshui, what advice would you have for sleeping direction with the leg facing a bay window? Is there any concern as we intend to have the room set up for the parents who are in their old age. 1. It depends. For many developments the bay windows have a half wall and above this is the bay window. In such a situation, there is no issue or concern. 2. However, if the entire bay window and the lower portion is made of glass; then if symbolically, if one's legs face this window; it is considered inauspicious:- 2.1. This is the coffin position when legs face an "opening" 2.2. Commonsense: usually lower part of the body is "exposed" thru the…

In the attached illustration: 3.1. One can see that the double auspicious #8's current prosperity wealth is WASTED at the rear of the home. 3.2. East sector has bad Flying Star numbers of #5 misfortune/sickness #2 sickness stars. Which is a health concern. 3.3. Equally bad in the North West sector. Which also have nasty flying stars of #2 sickness and #5 misfortune/sickness stars 4. Another sector which can be wasted is at SW which has good Flying Stars. 5. …

Thank you for your humourous reply. :) I saw your article about using the lou pan as a "ghost detector". Sometimes, you fell sick after "detecting" presence of paranormal activites. So, i was thinking if we can make the Lou Pan more "powerful" by blessing it or "opening its eyes", perhaps that would be safer to use it? So, if enshrining the lou pan does not make sense what about "opening the eyes" of symbolic status like the chi li etc. Is this different from enshrining the lou pan to make it more protective? Is it really necessary or can we just buy the chi li without "opening the eyes" and will they still work? regards spencer

Further to what I had mentioned; firstly we buy things that do not fit our culture. The next major consideration is that some people are already in financial distress. Given this situation; asking them to buy some products (which often does not guarantee) a "return" is not a wise choice. Sure, if we have money to spare, and for those who feel nice buying products (much like impulse buying) can do so. But for those who are already in "deep shit"; buying goods on credit i.e. many years back, I coined this " Credit Card Feng Shui "; is a really bad choice. Thus, many of us do not blink an eye, throwing away good food. But imagine, there is some one waiting outside, hoping t…
