Dear Master, I'm new here. A couple of decades ago I had a tatoo of a tiger done on my right chest. At the time it seemed like a good idea because a 'geomencer' I went to see in Selegie told me that I was like a fertile piece of land on a mountain side. Unfortunately not much could grow as the earth was icey and cold. He suggested bringing things like fire and tigers and the colour red close to me. One of the things he suggested was for me to sleep with a small red lamp in my bedroom. After trying that I was not comfortable with it. When I decided to get a tatoo a couple of years later, I decided to choose a growling fierce tiger on my chest. After that,at about that t…

In Feng Shui, we call the Dragon and Tiger as the "Green Dragon" and "White Tiger". Here for the external Feng Shui, the dragon is on the east or left side, while the tiger is at the west or right side (if we stand inside the door looking outwards). Nowadays in Singapore, few will get a tatoo where the dragon and tiger embrace. If so, often, the tatoos are on the arms and not the legs. This is because to be "harmonious" the dragon and tiger should be in an embrace. Unless if the tatoo is on the legs, it is felt that where we stand, the dragon should also be in embrance with the tiger. In the early 1970's David Carradine played a disciple of Shaolin Martial Arts. And whe…

In my opinion; as far as I know; I have not heard or at least there is no evidence to suggest that tattoo's have a direct or even indirect impact on a person's (well-being) or luck. From a holistic approach to Feng Shui; there are many other factors associated to luck. And tattoos are never mentioned, here.

Dear Yvvone, exora yvonne wrote: Dear Master Lee, I have searched throughout the internet and so far only this forum is reliable, thus I would like to express my gratitude for initiating this forum.. I am very keen in getting a tattoo on the lower back and not bigger than our palm size, the design is based on the "karma" word, but i am not sure whether it'll be in chinese or sanskrit. My friend told me that tattoos will change a person's luck, so I am concerned and unsure if it will be a good idea to get one for myself. I'm born in 1985 and a female. I would appreciate it if an expert could clear my doubts and I am open for suggestions and comments. Thank you very, very …

Dear Gordon, In my opinion, I have seen yin and yang symbol tattooed before on a body. Basically, there should not be any issue with it being tattooed other than on e.g. private parts or locations like battock or the bottom of the feet. Should therefore, tattooed in appropriate locations e.g. arm ... The yin and yang symbol is in total, comprise a wide field much like the Swastica symbol used by Buddhist on Buddha. (Unfortunately, the Germany Nazi SS copied and used this symbol also). Therefore, the yin-yang symbol unlike the Ba Gua symbol as shown under the url: http://www.geomancy.net/resources/art/art-pakua.htm In particular, the First Heaven Sequence Ba Gua trigr…

Dear Anon, Anon wrote: I was planning on getting a small dragon around my left wrist, around 1' in width. Is this good feng shui, bad, or neither? And is there a particular position (if possible) the dragon should be in order for it to be good feng shui? I mean so far tatoo has always been associated with bad things. So really, even though there isn't anything about feng shui and tattoo. It would seem more like it a tattoo will more likely bring about bad influence rather than good influence. So not likely to see what good luck it will bring. Anon wrote: And is there a particular position (if possible) the dragon…

Dear Anon, Teaching can be considered as belonging to the "wood" element i.e. growth (of the mind). And much like a tree, shaping a person... thru learning or growth. Warmest Regards, Cecil

1. The Industry: telecomunications is considered as the water element. 2. Finance Manager is suppose to be considered as a metal element. 3. If one is a strong earth person; this is considered as a suitable career especially if one can't find a career related to both Wealth and Power and Authortiy. Reference: http://talk.geomancy.net where Metal (helps) to balance or draw out excessive (strong) earth element.

Dear Kapil, Thank you for your clarifications. To understand what I mentioned better, please go to this forum topic " Photo Tours of Interest (with Picture Attachments) Under this topic, click the first message posted " A picture showing circular steps radiating outwards ". This picture shows a typical `Ming Tang' formation where the semi-circle radiates outwards of the building. In your case, it should radiate outwards away from the main entrance door. For the metal pole you were mentioning; there are two ways of looking at it. Some FS practioners classify a tall thin structure as Wood element while others classify it as metal simply because the pole is made of metal. As…

Ever wonder why this lady geomancer never wanted to give explanations in public on the harm teletubbies allegedly bring to children? My guess is it is laughable and not in accordance with fengshui principles. It's pure BS! My children have teletubbies for two years now and they are just fine and doing wonderfully in school. I ain't going to throw out teletubbies just because this person says to do so especially coming from a person who likes to predict the next earthquake but refuses to disclose it until it happens and takes the credit for it.

These are further considerations:- http://forum.geomancy.net/phpforum/article.php?bid=2&fid=1&mid=29725&new=), 1. By coincidence from now to 2023, based on Flying Star Feng Shui you are lucky that South is ranked 2nd only to SW and NE. And North ranks much lower. 2. From the above article, do take note that SW and NE not mentioned by you has the best Feng Shui. 3. Facing an open space where a bird can fly freely is also considered VIRTUAL water. 3.1 And not necessarily do or die must face the sea. Think about it. 4. In addition, you are also missing another factor: How suitable is the apartment to you? 5. In my opinion, if you happen to be an East group pers…

Dear Anon, If one is not sure, please use the Pie chart method. It is similar to the Eight House `angle' of influence concept: If you can draw a simple diagram to illustrate what you mean, as I am not too clear what u actually mean:) Warmest Regards, Cecil

My respect to you. I am at lost on where to place my Kuan Im. I sold my house and will be moving to a rented house which is very small. All my belonging in my current house will be stored at a storage centre. I ask around temples whether they could accept to pay my Kuam Im for time being until I move to my new house but non able to accept. Can I wrap up the Kuan Im in red cloth as respect and put it into a box and store it at the storage centre for time being. I will ask Kuan Im for forgiveness for such an arrangement. Otherwise please advise what other alternative.

Dear Kenny, Generally, these are another way to look at the various elements in relation to your life:- Simply it is good to have friends as they often means people or things which helps you along the way providing you additional support and encouragement. Most likely all users are more interested in the Wealth as such the reports focus more on this area. Generally, if you encounter for example lots of Earned Wealth and Unexpected Wealth in your Luck Pillars or throughout your life based on (Water) elements, it means that you are given lots of opportunities to gain wealth. Whether or not you succeed thus depends on whether youa re a strong Earth person. On the oth…

Dear Anon, 1. I am glad you find the forum useful. 2. Firstly, there should not be any conflict between a weak metal and a wood-horse as the second is the heavenly stem plus earthly branch of your year of birth. 3. And in the greater picture of Pillars of Destiny: it is part of the overall picture of your Pillars of Destiny or Ba Zi - where your weak metal is derived from not only the Year but also includes the Month, Day and Time of birth. 4. For Gua or Kua being 1; one has to remember that it is also based on a general overview i.e. based on the Year of birth only. Thus, to re-cap; a proper or a simple basic Pillars of Destiny would alone take into consideration Year, …

Dear Elena, 1. In my opinion, textured walls are acceptable. 2. Over here, for the last 5 to 10 years, it also is very popular. It is also very good at detering lizards from climbing on them. 3. In the past, many buildings use rough surfaces (not noecessary sand blasting or textured walls). 4. Thus in my opinon, the textured surfaces is not a concern. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Chong Wee Wei wrote: Thank for your reply. I wish to know why a dinning room is not suitable to be near to main door. What is there are no others choice it must be near to main door, how we going to solve it? Wil it affect our career as me and my husband is doing sales related to food business? Dear Chong Wee Wei, There are two senarios, here: 1. Symbolism in Feng Shui Under symbolism in Feng Shui, it is best to avoid having items such as fork or occasional scissors on the dining table if it can be seen from the main entrance. As this could suggest : issues like quarrels in the home. In addition, the idea of having a empty rice bowl with a set of chopsticks on the di…
